Their direction was exactly the issue, and this saved me hundreds of dollars in repairs, or from a new fridge purchase. I wish i could have bought something to show my appreciation for the support. Thank you for saving me this headache.

He quoted a price that was extremely reasonable for parts, labor and tax. He arrived at the appointment time on time, fixed the dryer, and was done in less than 20 minutes. Our dryer works like we just bought it 13 years ago! Small business, BBB approved, and great service without hidden fees. We will be going back to them for our appliance needs!

My dryer stopped tumbling and needed to be repaired. My landlord recommended Mike at Appliance…read moreDoctor as they and people in the building had used him before. I looked at the company's website and sent an email, but received an automatic response asking that I call or text. I texted, but received a text back saying that I was probably looking for the person's son, and should text this other number. I texted the other number, and after some back and forth, Mike (or Mike's son? I'm really not sure) he described what he believed the dryer's problem to be, quoted a price, and we scheduled an appointment. The communication/scheduling process was quite strange and overly complex. However, he was prompt, worked quickly and efficiently, and was very kind and considerate. The dryer's working again! He said that he would text me a payment link at some vague time in the future, which was once again strange. I mean it certainly worked out, but it's an odd, disorganized way to conduct business. Really odd to be on two extreme ends of the service spectrum like that.

I mounted the new vacuum myself but couldn't figure out the correct piping for the new system. Couldn't recommend him higher.

I've been going to this shop for over a decade and he was always so nice and helpful and would do excellent work in cleaning my vacuum and getting parts or whatever it was. It makes me sad for the situation, not knowing what's going on. He is trying to manage two locations by himself, so that's got to be stressful and tiring...but still I wish I could get my Miele vacuum opened up and the engine looked at/or cleaned after I did not install the bag properly. I got turned away too. Edit: after reading the r/VacuumCleaners sub-Reddit on Miele vs SEBO D4 I discovered for the very FIRST time that every time you open the Miele door it triggers the auto-eject mechanism for easier bag removal - even if you did not open it up to change the bag! You need to make sure the bag gets clicked back down firmly into the spring loaded holder before closing the lid. Why did no one mention this when I bought the Miele just 3 years ago??????

They finally came with one load a cord and dumped it. I had to split a great deal of it as it wouldn't fit in my stove. There were all kinds of small pieces mixed in and when I went to show them the pictures of what we got I was told since we were unhappy with the first load they weren't going to deliver the rest of it and gave me a refund for the three cord we were expecting to get.I did have them for my oil for two years but I will find some place to get my oil since they run that type of business. If you order wood from them DON'T EXPECT MUCH. I think they gave me a raw deal just because I questioned what I got. Now I am left to look for wood elsewhere when we expected to get all of it from them. NOT A VERY FRIENDLY COMPANY TO EXPECT MUCH FROM. Think twice before ordering wood from them

I spoke to half a dozen different HVAC providers and had 3 of them come to her home to do an estimate. Of all of them, Mike Greives of Dead River was the only one who took the time to explain the pros and cons of oil vs propane and what was the best solution for this home and her situation. Also, the price quoted from Dead River was the cheapest of all of the quotes I got. Not by a lot but it was the best price quoted of the three. When the time came for scheduling the service they worked with us to book the chimney person, the junk hauler, and took care of all of the details (which a few other companies told me I would have to arrange for!). They also accommodated our schedule since the work was done in the summer and was not an emergency call. On the days of installation, I have to shout out the professional work and wonderful attitude of Dale, Joe, and Dustin. They explained all of the details and left the space cleaner than it started! Even better because 3 people were sent they completed the install in 2 days instead of 3. I am so happy that I chose Dead River and believe you should consider them for a large project like the boiler replacement we had!
