I highly recommend Radical Movers! I had worked with them several years ago through my previous job…read moreat a storage facility, so when I recently needed movers after an apartment flood, I knew who to call. Even years later, they were just as amazing to work with as I remembered. The owner, Eddie, is genuinely one of the nicest and most understanding people. I was dealing with so much uncertainty surrounding the repairs at my apartment and didn't always know exactly when I would need to move out or when I would be able to move back in. Eddie was incredibly flexible, patient, and worked with me every step of the way. I was already dealing with a very stressful situation and difficult people at my apartment complex while trying to get all of the damage handled, and I can confidently say that moving my apartment out and then back in was the ONE thing I did not have to stress about. Radical Movers took care of everything and made the entire process such a breeze. The crew was professional, efficient, and careful with my belongings. They were also incredibly patient with me while moving everything out, as I had to stop along the way to document and take pictures of some of my furniture that had been damaged from the flood. They never made me feel rushed and were completely understanding of the situation, which I really appreciated. They even completely disassembled my large, heavy wooden bunk bed for the move and then put it all back together when we moved back into the apartment. They truly handled everything and made an already overwhelming situation so much easier. It says a lot that after knowing this company professionally years ago and then finally needing their services personally, I can recommend them even more now. Thank you so much to Eddie and the entire Radical Movers team. I truly cannot recommend them enough!

They arrived prepared with materials to handle my belongings with more care than I would have used. They were courteous, friendly and fast. He sent me photos of the items in storage and told me exactly when they had finished the move. They also took care of dumping an old couch for me for a small fee. As I'm leaving my one bedroom in storage for a few months, I feel my items are in good hands. After a bad experience with a top local mover in DC who broke many items in a previous move, I'm happy I've found the small but caring crew of Radical Movers.

We stayed up late the night before getting everything ready. Near the end of the original pickup window, I was notified they were running late and asked to move the pickup to 3:00-5:00 p.m. While frustrating, I understand delays can happen. After waiting through almost the entire second window, they contacted me again and asked to reschedule for the following day. At that point, they were essentially asking me to spend another day waiting for a service that had already been delayed twice. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this company because they were not reliable with their scheduling.

Haulahaulics was very responsive, transparent about pricing, reasonably priced, and available to get the job done! The team came on time, asked questions to ensure they were hauling the right items, and got all of our junk out fast. I had a little of items including coach, grill, and dining room chairs that they removed with ease. I am beyond grateful for them and their help when I was in a bind! And I would absolutely recommend them to others. Tell them what you have to get rid of and they can help.

They wrapped his things up and provided furniture covers before putting his things into the truck. We met them at his storage unit and when we thought the storage unit would be too small, they looked it over and said they could fit everything. They meticulously maneuvered everything into our unit and got it all to fit! Because of this, they saved us from having to pay more money for a larger unit. We honestly had a good experience from start to finish and are greatly appreciative for their assistance. Plus, their pricing was incredibly reasonable. We will definitely be using them again.

This is my second time using them. The first move went smoothly, which is why I hired them again…read more Unfortunately, this experience was completely different. While the crew arrived on time, there were only three movers instead of the four that were expected. I was then charged an additional $120 for an extra hour. One of the movers openly admitted that he had been out all night and was exhausted, which was evident in his performance throughout the move. The most frustrating part is that I moved into a brand-new construction home, and the movers caused significant damage. They put holes in my walls and scratched my stairs. I understand that minor scuffs can happen during a move, but these were deep gashes and holes that require repair. Before the crew left, I brought the damage to the attention of the lead mover. He told me not to worry and said I could file a claim using the claim number on my receipt. Since then, I have called multiple times and have not received a single callback. The only person I have been able to reach says she is in sales and cannot help me. No one has contacted me, and no repairs have been made. The lack of accountability and customer service has been extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend District Relocators and would strongly advise others to consider a different moving company

Moving day was made far easier with the best moving team, "Bay, Garcia and Nahun." We were so fortunate to have had their help and muscles. Bay's communication keeping the move on time was outstanding. Upon arriving at the "Public Storage" facility at Seven Corners in Virginia, my daughter and this patient moving team were welcomed by a serious issue not previously disclosed. The elevator was out of service, and the storage unit was on the third floor. The gentleman could have requested a reschedule right then, but no. The BoxStar Super Stars jumped into action. They moved my daughters one-bedroom apartment out of the storage unit and into their truck in record time, including a very heavy sleeper sofa, down three flight of stairs in a narrow stairwell. From the storage unit, they moved her belongings into her house, placing every piece of furniture with expert care. We estimated a three house move time and despite the elevator snafu, Bay, Garcia, and Nahun delivered on time. Working with BoxStar Movers was perfect. The whole BoxStar team is absolutely wonder, polite, kind, and so many great words to describe them. Thank you all.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with DC Pro Movers was extremely disappointing…read more I even attempted to address my concerns privately before posting publicly, but I never received a response. One of the movers appeared to be intoxicated during my move. He was an older, shorter Hispanic gentleman, and every time he came near me I could smell alcohol. This made me very uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about professionalism, safety, and whether this contributed to the delays during the move. I was also charged a fuel fee for a move that was only 0.3 miles away, which felt completely unreasonable. On top of that, my final bill nearly doubled from the original estimate. I was charged approximately $350 for packing supplies even though I had already purchased and provided my own tape and wrapping materials and placed them in each room for the movers to use. I even have photos documenting this. When I questioned the charges, I was first told there was a misunderstanding and then told the supplies "weren't seen." Despite me clearly communicating that my own supplies were available, the movers chose to use company materials anyway. While I understand charges for sofa covers and a TV box, one of my smaller TVs had already been wrapped and I specifically stated it did not need to be boxed. They proceeded anyway and charged me for it. The most upsetting part was feeling pressured to pay the full amount before my belongings would be unloaded. After reviewing everything afterward, I truly do not believe the charges were fair or transparent. I gave the company an opportunity to resolve this professionally before posting this review, but the lack of communication and accountability has been frustrating. Customers deserve honesty, professionalism, and fair pricing -- unfortunately, that was not my experience.
