A1 Donut is a great classic neighborhood donut shop pumping out yeast donuts that are light and fluffy and cake donuts that are spongy and soft, albeit without any crust. The donuts that have icing and/or glaze aren't cloyingly sweet, which is a problem that I find plagues a lot of donut shops. These, instead, are sweet, but pleasantly so for a sweet dessert. In all cases, the icing/glaze adheres well to the donut without flaking off. Prices are also very reasonable for the area. $2.25 each for the regular donuts. And for TGTG users, they give a big box of end-of-day donuts. In my case, 10 assorted donuts + 6 donut holes for $6.99. That's a value that's tough to beat. Let's be honest, A1 Donut is probably using the same bulk donut mixes that everyone else uses. What differentiates donut shops is execution, service, and price. A1 Donut has all of these categories down pretty well.

The Big Twist Maple frosting is the best donut I have ever had! (Chances are, these will be gone if you don't order by 9 am!) The Apple Fritter (small) is still large enough to share. Orders always come with 4-6 complimentary donut holes :)

A family member claimed this was the best northend doughnut shop, so A1 Donut had been bookmarked forever. I had the opportunity coming from Marysville for a first visit (12/5/24) to pick up a spontaneous Too Good To Go order. I figured it would be a few items in a bag. You can imagine my surprise to be handed a huge box by the upbeat counter person. Photographed the contents back in the car...wow quite the generous variety! Fresh, tasty, and not cloyingly too sweet. A nice treat and now I understand its popularity by loyal customers. It can be accessed from I-5 or Hwy 99 at 128th in South Everett. It is in a strip mall adjacent to the Shell gas station at that main intersection.

Made it to A1 Donut before they closed. It's in a random plaza next to Pasteur's Noodle Soup. We dropped in on a Friday afternoon (3:45pm). Surprisingly, a few donuts were still available. Donuts are $2.25 USD (regular), $2.75 USD (specialty) or $4.00 USD (deluxe). - 1/2 dozen regular ($12.50 USD) - two apple fritters, pistachio peanut cake, glazed & maple old fashion and buttermilk bar. Fritters were excellent, stayed fresh for several days. Old fashion donuts were decent. Pistachio was a miss Will return to try their blueberry fritter.

Just an excellent donut shop in Everett. The employees are nice, the prices are good, and the donuts are extremely tasty. What more could you ask for? You can also purchase boxes of their donuts from TooGoodToGo at times. I always stop by here for an apple fritter if I'm around. There is some seating inside if needed, but it's a typical old-fashioned donut spot. No frills but great donuts!

I was so impressed by this donut shop! Tucked away in a strip mall in Everett, you'd never assume these are some of the best donuts in the area. My partner and I have been on the hunt for soft, springy, yeast raised donuts and this place has them. We paid about $30 for a dozen, so they're not cheap but well worth it. We got a variety of classic donuts and some of their specialty like fruity pebbles, pistachio coconut, and a blueberry fritter! The shop itself is beautiful and clean, they have a really cute photo wall. We went around noon on a Friday and there was more than enough to choose from. The service friendly and quick. We will certainly be back!

Location: 4/5 It's in a plaza and is sandwiched in between the Shell gas station and the pho place. Located across the street from Home Depot, so not the best in terms of safety but we had no issues on a Saturday morning.

We came on a weekend afternoon to try their brioche donuts. 6 different flavors - Matcha, Strawberry, Mango, Biscoff, Chocolate, and Taro. We got 1 of each: the owner was kind & gave us two free. The exterior of the donut was good but the filling was a little too sweet & synthetic for my taste. My fiancé described it kind of like the taste of some bubble tea powders. We would come again to try their other donuts, all looked great in the display! Currently they are only open a few days a week Thursday - Sunday. But bonus is they are on Door Dash!

Truly a great donut shop, they have your traditional donuts but also some very tasty variants like a blueberry apple fritter and PB&J (jelly filled with PB on top). Highly recommend you try this place if you're looking for quality donuts!

I was in desperate need for a donut, and A1 was the only donut place delivering to me at 3:40 pm on a Thursday, and boy did I luck out! I ordered a half dozen regular donuts but I received NINE DONUTS , and I think some of the flavors I got are their premium donuts too! I know I probably ordered towards the end of their day, but it's still so nice to receive extra donuts!! Their donuts are also delicious, they have a really nice doughy cakey texture and their frosting/flavoring doesn't overpower the donut. Really solid donut place!!

I stopped by today because I had been CRAVING donuts all week. I was so pleasantly surprised by the kind service I received. Auntie behind the counter slipped me some donut holes as a little freebie! So sweet. And the donuts themselves were amazing!

Checked out this spot during their grand opening on Saturday. Soo glad I did! The donuts are delicious! They are not too dense or sweet and have an airy/fluffy texture to them. I particularly enjoyed the s'mores and peanut butter donuts. Not to mention the vibe here is pretty chill and you can tell they put some thoughts in their interior design. read more

Awesome selection of doughnuts! First impression was crew was nice as they welcomed me at the door. The interior is very modern and clean, unlike the traditional shop. This time, I tried the PB and J doughnuts and got my wife the original glazed. We both enjoyed them! As they were testing doughnuts holes, they give us a few which my daughter totally loved I will definitely go back next time I am in Everett. read more

Amazing donuts! The shop is located in a small strip mall and adjacent to a gas station, which has ample parking. The ambiance of the donut shop is hip, sleek, and clean. I love the "donut kill my vibe" sign. I may have used it as a backdrop for some social media posts. The donut selection is great as well - you have your classic assortments such as maple bars and apple fritters, and there are also specialty donuts such as s' mores, PB & J, and seasonal flavors. The customer service is stellar, and I'm always greeted with a friendly face and even an occasional freebie for the regular customer. The donuts have a great ratio of cake/icing and have a nice, light/fluffy quality. My personal favorites are the maple bar with real bacon bits, as well as the homer donut. Highly recommended if you're in the North Lynnwood/South Everett area, and this is so convenient for a quick breakfast/snack near Paine Field! read more

Sometimes when I'm late for work, my office makes me get donuts and so one of those days, I decided to go here! It's kinda out of my way from my place to work but it was totally worth it!! The place was so clean, chill music, and really nice guys working at the front. I asked for literally one of everything and I noticed they had donut holes as well and wanted a dozen. The guy had said they're not really selling them right now - they were just testing it out and giving them out to customers as samples. He ended up giving me a complimentary dozen donut holes for all the donuts I bought!! We had fun conversation especially after learning I work at a dental office.. :) yes, we eat way more sweets than you know! When I brought the donuts to the office, they were gone SO fast. I think I tried to get a bite of everything and for someone who doesn't like smores anything besides smores itself, the smores donut was one of my favorites. The PB&J donut was also SOOOsoso good. None of the donuts were disappointing and we all approved. Perfect sweetness and flavor! I also noticed that instead of one of each (I think there was a variety of 18?) they gave me a couple more. The best donuts around . . . and my husband and I make a point of frequenting donuts shops in the area. Donuts are fresh, soft and oh so tasty. A big plus is the attractive decor - and - NO stupid music playing. Perfect environment to enjoy those donuts. Since we are talking Everett the prices can't be beat. We were in search of a new donut place after recent disappointment with a few shops in the area (never had anything at peak times or they were old and gross). Definitely our new favorite donut shop! All of the donuts were extremely fresh tasting and you could really tell they were made with quality ingredients. The blueberry cake donut actually tasted like real blueberry instead of that chemical artificial flavoring you normally see. We tried a few different "basic" flavors but will definitely be back to try more of the fancy specialty donuts. Service was also great! read more

Great donuts and customer service! I went in once and needed 6 PB&J donuts but they only had one left and the owner told me if I waited 5 minutes he'd be able to make some for me. So I waited and within a few minutes I got what I needed. Everything always tastes fresh and delicious. read more

From the outside it doesn't look too classy, but trust me as soon as you walk in it is a whole different environment. With a very modern look, the extremely friendly service is a plus. They have a wide variety of special doughnuts (oreo, cinnamon toast crunch, smores, etc) and they all taste amazing! Lastly, the price is fairly reasonable and lower than other places--they taste better too! Definitely found my new go-to donut shop :) read more

These are hands down the freshest and most delicious donuts in the Pacific Northwest! I always end up leaving with too many, because I can never pick between the maple bar, PB&J, Bavarian Cream or apple fritter (to name a few). And did I mention what a good deal they are? Really good doughnuts! We tried six and my favourite was the S'mores one. Super light cake, not greasy or heavy. Chocolate cake doughnut was great too! Bacon maple was really good, PB&J could only be improved by a more flavourful jelly. Love the doughnut holes too! read more

This is the BEST donut place in Everett and the surrounding area. I've tried all the other "bests" in Everett, and this one is far superior. I happened to see it as I was leaving Home Depot, turned around, and stopped in. I ordered a donut, and then as I was leaving, asked the man behind the counter what his favorite was. He said the Peanut Butter and Jelly, so I bought one of those too. It was incredible -- it wasn't sugary, greasy, or heavy like a lot of donuts, but light and fluffy. It had jam inside and peanut butter with chopped peanuts on top. The flavors were subtle and blended together -- the kind where you want more. The raspberry jam filled was also great, along with the donut holes they sent along as a sample. Seriously, BEST DONUTS EVER!!!!! read more

I love the donuts here. If you want a great donut that doesn't taste like all the rest come here. The guy who run it are very niceand quick to help. They have a variety of donuts to choose from too. The classic maple bar, sprinkles and Bavarian cream filled to new ones like s'mores, maple bacon bars and one of my new favorite peanut butter and jelly. Raspberry Fritter: 2.5/5 same as above. since neither this or the apple have enough fruit chunks to come through the only difference is that this is sweeter if thats your thing. Chocolate Bar/Donut: 4/5 I dont like chocolate donuts but their frosting has a really rich fudge taste that people who do like this type will appreciate. Likewise good texture to the maple bars Jelly Filled Glazed: 5/5 their glazes are really fine and light which makes them very pleasant to eat and the jelly isn't as sweet as typical Jelly-filleds which means you really taste the berries. Lake Stevens Doughnuts are incredibly delicious and there are several types to choose from. My favorite is the Apple-fritter, Chocolate and Maple bars and Old Fashioned Buttermilk!!! They also have some "Fancy " ones that look to good to me to eat. The wonderful ladies that make this place go are extremely helpful and friendly and make sure you feel appreciated.

When I arrived on Wednesday during their posted business hours (9 AM), the bakery was unexpectedly closed with a sign saying "Sorry, we have sold out, we are closed!" Their voicemail and website then stated they would also be closed for the next two days. What's most disappointing is that I received absolutely no phone call or notice that my prepaid order would not be fulfilled. For a business handling special occasion orders, failing to contact customers about canceled or unfulfilled orders is extremely unprofessional. I didn't even get a refund for my order, will need to do a charge back on my card now.

As a service industry person myself, I wouldnt be so quick to offer an inside table instead of being minutely inconvenienced (we offered to move the table ourselves as well to be helpful), with a couple of 2-tops outside and 2 inside - they were not busy. Overall, not earth shattering, but neither was the food or drinks in comparison to the experience and bill sadly.

Man, A1 Donut absolutely crushed it! I stopped in recently and these were some of the best donuts I've had in a long time. Fresh, fluffy, perfectly sweet without being over the top, and the flavors were on point. The glaze was shiny and sticky in all the right ways, and every bite just melted in my mouth. I went in planning to grab a couple and ended up leaving with a box because I couldn't stop at just a few. The variety is killer too -- classic glazes, filled ones, and some creative specials that actually deliver. Service was fast and friendly, and the shop itself is clean and smells like donut heaven the second you walk in. If you're in the area and craving something sweet, do yourself a favor and hit up A1 Donut. You won't regret it. I'm already thinking about my next visit! I picked up a dozen donuts from A1 in the late afternoon, and they were still soft and crispy. Their cinnamon rolls are so underrated. They were perfectly crispy on the outside, not too sweet, and the cinnamon on top was delicious. I also loved their bacon maple bar, and they offer unique donut flavors. The pistachio donut was a standout. Definitely a great spot for fresh and flavorful donuts. read more
