Internal communication could use work though. There's always confusion when I call and they give me attitude sometimes when they can't figure it out. They don't communicate with each other. Always asking me who I spoke with, but it seems like there's a ton of people there because it's the answering service, or the person in accounting, or the main person. They ask me dates. Shouldn't that be in the system? Other companies don't have to do this. They need to find a way to put notes in the system so they can keep track of things. E.g., I left a message but it never got to the right person etc. A bit difficult to work with in that regard. Almost a year later, I am STILL dealing with them. They still send me bills for stuff I already paid for. When I email them to ask them about details, they don't get back to me. AVOID dealing with them. It is a headache! read more

I just ran into one of their employees in the parking lot of a 7/11 in west Los Angeles. When I parked he jumped out of his truck and began screaming obscenities at me claiming I had 'stolen' his parking space. I remained calm throughout his verbal attack on me, calling me all the names under the sun. I hate to do a bad review but I will never go with this company again. I Ordered 1 portable unit for a party over the weekend and, they delivered it a day ahead as agreed they left it where it needed to be and I didn't inspect it. It's just a port a potty I'm not using it ahead of the event. Well my event comes and ppl are complaining that the door doesn't close all the way there is a big crack so there was no privacy. Guests didn't feel comfortable using. So come time to pay I explain to the agent who said she would reach out to a higher up and call me back when she called me back she informed me that there would be no discount because I should have called as soon as it was delivered. These people are the best! We are doing a bathroom remodel and had to rent a portable toilet and we cannot be happier with the service or the toilet. Starting with Stephanie, who helped us out when we called at the last minute, wanting next day delivery and then helped us again when we had to reschedule the delivery. The delivery guy was super patient with us, moving it all over until we found the right spot. The unit was was very nice (we rented the Deluxe, that flushes and has a sink) and clean and not smelly. And it was a nice khaki color with a white top to let in daylight and not that ghastly blue. And the weekly service guy (sry, don't know his name) was also great - always showed up and did a great job cleaning and restocking the supplies. I called and had multiple units picked up from one of our construction locations and months later we are still being billed. When I contacted A-Throne to let them know, they told me they wanted to make sure that we didn't move the units to another location before they stopped billing us. I can't believe they would insinuate that we are hiding their units so we can stop paying for them! Outrageous! Be careful! I am a general contractor and had a throne deliver to multiple job sites. Almost all jobs performed there were issues with the units i.e. see which leaks, sinks not working, no toilet paper's paper towels. In addition to that customer service is terrible. You asked for a manager and he always seems to be in a meeting day after day. Working on a job site in Pasadena these guys multiple times have crashed into a brandNew driveway curb and have now three times spilled oil all the way up and down the driveway. Let me start by saying I have never written a negative review in my life. It takes a lot to upset me. We used A-throne for a remodel on a flip house we were doing. All started out well. The office personnel were all very friendly and helpful until we began to have issues. The issues we had with the porta potty was they were doing a very poor job cleaning it, not putting toilet paper in it and a very minimal amount of air freshener was used. Multiple calls were made regarding the issues. They fell on deaf ears. One week my wife witnessed the driver stop out front for a few minutes and then drove off without doing ANYTHING. I finally figured out why the thing looked and smelled the way it does. I called and no one gave a hoot. Supervisors were busy and never returned phone calls. I got hold of a head dispatcher who swore she would investigate and get back to me - nothing. They are happy to take your money and do the minimal for it. In conclusion, use national or the many other companies. This company is a joke and do not follow through on anything. What a waste of money. All i ask is that you do what you say your going to do. Ordered a portable restroom for a client for a last minute memorial reception. A-Throne was on top of it and Corey sent me a quote with multiple options and price points right away. He even included photos, which made it easy for he client to choose the option best for her. She selected and portable restroom and the day of the event at delivery changed her mind and wanted a larger unit. A-A-Throne was extremely helpful and accommodating. They were able to return the unit back to their often, clean and resend out a new unit without me having to worry so I could focus on other details of the event. When I said no, it was supposed to come filled they promised to send someone to do it. The person never showed. I had to call them several times for them to finally send someone. This was December. Fast forward to around April and I see a random charge on my credit card. I am trying to figure out who this company is, because I didnt even remember them at this point. Call the number to inquire about this charge and why its on my card. The person who answers the phone is clueless. Tells me she doesnt know, does have an record of it, blah blah. So I did what most would do in this situation, i dispute it on my card. Next thing you know this horrible companies memory improves and they tell me the charge in April is from the order in December! They forgot to charge me. I'm very disappointed with the customer service and all others involved. I ordered a portable toilet. It was too small for one of my workers. I called and asked if there was a larger option. The rep told me the next size would be too large. I asked if the unit could be returned and the rep said yes it could and preceded to schedule a pickup. She was very pleasant. The unit did get picked up but several days late. I called and was told it was on schedule to be picked up. I called National and they were able to deliver the right size portable. Last week, I received an invoice for the current month and my credit card was never credit for the first charge. I called and explained the situation to the company. They reversed the current month charge but refused to credit anything on the 28 or so days. I explained over and over that I was told and promised the credit by the rep and that I would not have returned the unit until the end of the month if I had known that the office would not honor their promise.
