Great boba spot. When im in the area I always stop by and grab something. I usually get their iced teas they are all very refreshing and super tasty. Service: service is always excellent. Enthusiastic people with great customer service. When I'm in a hurry I order online and it's always ready when I get there. Parking: they have a private parking area. Parking is a hit or miss at times. Over all great place for a nice and refreshing drinks! Cheers!! read more

Cute little hid gem located in Reseda. With so many boba type places in the valley, this one is one to check out! Love the ambiance of this place and they have plenty of indoor dining. The staff is very kind and friendly. This location opened in 2019 and has a variety of bobas, teas, and Vietnamese coffee. I went with Strawberry Match Latte drink with boba as my add on item, that comes with a yelp check in. My drink itself was delicious but I am knocking off one star for the boba itself. Mine were as hard as rock and not chewy and soft like it's supposed to be. I notified them and they made me a new one with no boba in it and that was one much better. I would definitely come back another time and try something else and get a different add on item in my drink. read more

Place is easy to find, parking is so so (it can get crowded) so go during non-busy hours, but their milk tea? Totally a MUST get. If you're craving milk tea that has flavors you can't find else where, check this place out. Don't know how this place has 4.5 stars !!!!!! This place is overly hyped!! First off, Drinks are watered down, don't have much flavor to them and second the customer service SUCKS. You Can't even mix a flavor because apparently "they can't do it" according to this guy. He was rude since we got there. I asked if he can just put strawberry puree (WHICH I WOULD PAY EXTRA FOR) at the bottom of the piña colada drink they have. His response was "No we CAN NOT do that" when one of the guys in the back who was making drinks even turned around and said "technically we can since it'd be at the bottom" but MR REGISTER guy turned around to look at him and said "NO WE CANNOT DO THAT it's only for the matcha".... WTH!! I'm not asking for anything crazy! Just wanted some purée at the bottom of my drink. read more

Was really excited to try this place when it first opened. I love trying new boba spots or just supporting ones we haven't been to yet but was pretty disappointed with this one. It's not in the best area but glad to see an actual boba spot here. I went for my usual Thai Iced Tea and my bf got the classic milk tea. We usually stick to regular drinks at first to try the quality of their tea and the chewiness of their boba pearls. Unfortunately we didn't like our drinks. We still drank them going home but wished it wasn't so watered down. There wasn't any flavor to them at all. It was like pure milk with a hint of flavor. The line was also pretty long and took a good 20 min to get these drinks. I was pretty bummed but they surprisingly had good boba! The chewiness was great but that's honestly about it. Not sure if they have better drinks on the menu but for a place with "tea" in their name, you would expect good quality tea. Quick, friendly service, and pretty drinks that taste good. The Taro Milktea was just the right amount of flavor and sweetness as was the Thai Tea and the Matcha. These three drinks were as expected for us (we drink a lot of milktea with boba so our taste buds have definitely formed an opinion, LOL). The Brown Sugar Milktea was a huge shot of sweetness which was perfect for The Huz because he loves it very sweet. But that's a bit of a warning for those that don't like it too sweet--I overheard a customer ask for "no sweetness" (to each their own) so I know how that is. They also offer variations with non-dairy substitutes. The drinks come in these super nice and sturdy plastic containers that I wish were recycle friendly, but I don't think they are. :-( If you can though, please do. Was driving past the shopping center where A Tea Thing is and made a sharp RIGHT into the parking lot. I've seen this place all over Yelp and I wanted to give it a try for myself. It's pretty hidden inside of a shopping center. The inside is clean and nicely decorated, a little on the simple side. They had two people working there that day so there was a little bit of a line during the late afternoon. I ordered a large Thai tea with almond milk and boba. The tea was good, but not as strong as I am used too. The large is HUGE! I wish there was a bit more ice and a bit more boba. For the large, there was probably the same amount of boba as a regular size. You can adjust the level of sweetness in your drink if you just ask. There is some seating inside the cafe, but lots of people were taking their drinks to go. I would definitely come back the next time I am out and about and craving boba! read more

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my girlfriend & it was not too busy for a weekend! The menu had a lot of tasty options/ add ons. My girlfriend ordered a large Thai tea, and I had a brown sugar milk tea since they were out of Viet Coffee. The indoor space is very inviting. The boba shop had nice indoor plants, a clean space, and featured good music by Steve Lacey while we waited for our drinks. We only waited a couple of minutes for our drinks and they were MASSIVE. The thai tea and milk tea both tasted sweet, creamy and refreshing for a hot summer day. On our next visit we agreed that we'd get a normal size if we weren't planning to share. My favorite spot for a Thai Iced Tea! It's completely out of my way but their teas are yummy. I'm not a boba fan but most people do order their drinks with their boba. They have an array of options on their menu: milky, fruity, coffee-y. The place is small but neat and clean. I like coming here for their lychee-lemon tea smash. Even though they use Minute Maid lemonade, I still like the way it tastes. Their boba has always been on point and on the chewy side. The boba also has honey boba in it. Parking has never been an issue for me here as I usually come around noon time. Service here has always been good and I have no complaints. I just wished they had a location closer to the Woodland Hills area. read more

A Tea Thing? More like A Water Thing. Saw the 4.5 stars on Yelp, came for the high reviews after reading other peoples, left with a huge disappoint in my wallet and stomach. Parking was easy to find in a plaza. The first thing that peeved me was the service. I recalled asking the server for a large, and he asked me twice to make sure it was a large. Guess what I got? A small. And guess what else? They remade my drink and charged me for it. It makes perfect sense to charge me extra for a large, but when you didn't input my order correctly into the machine and basically blamed me for the error, it got on my nerves, ngl. Also with service, I asked for a free boba topping with a yelp check-in, and they had to grab someone from the back to verify/input it. And all this for $7.15 (with a free topping)???? You're telling me this place charges $8 for a boba drink. I ordered a Signature Milk Tea and a Lychee Milk Tea. Both were horrible. My signature milk tea tasted like cereal water. I couldn't even taste the tea; it was basically sugar water mixed with milk. The lychee milk tea had an unexpected sour taste. It was also watered down like cereal water. Lychee flavored cereal dipped in water for a few seconds before being added with milk. There was 0 tea taste. It was barely sweetened at 100% sweetness, so I'm wondering if they took other reviewers' reviews to heart and lowered their base sweetness. I remember being super happy walking out of the shop, feeling the bottom of the cup being hot from boba! Then I started wondering why would they make fresh boba at 8:30pm when they close in an hour? Surprise surprise (not), the boba had 0 taste, and was clumping. Fast. They tasted like they were soaked in hot water or artificially heated after being cooked, so they not only lost their taste, but also their texture. This is probably true, as no boba shop I've visited in my life had fresh boba an hour before closing. How people rave about this place is beyond me, at least for their milk tea. I have not tried their snow/yogurt drinks, but if they really are the items to order, the shop needs a name change. I would not order their milk teas or boba if you insist on coming! read more

My strawberry matcha was good, a bit too jammy, but not cloyingly sweet although the matcha itself was mildly flavored, it was highly caffeinated since it kept me from falling asleep at my regular time. If I was in the area I'd absolutely go back there again.

At that time, they made a special Valentine's Day coffee, and the taste was absolutely amazing. Ever since then, I've been thinking I should come back. Since this café is quite far from my usual areas--Burbank, Glendale, and LA--and I've been very busy lately, I hadn't had a chance to return. But today, after getting a car wash nearby, I decided to drive about 20 minutes just to come here and enjoy their coffee again. Today, I ordered an Einspänner Latte--decaf, non-fat, and no ice--and they made it perfectly, exactly how I requested. The taste was truly incredible. If this place were closer, I would come here every single day. On top of that, the café is beautifully decorated--completely my style. It has a great vibe, a nice ambience, amazing coffee, a cozy atmosphere, and even a place to charge your phone. It really has everything I want: especially a perfect afternoon coffee option with decaf and non-fat milk. And all the staff are incredibly kind. This is truly a coffee shop where everything feels just perfect.

I got the matcha chai, and I think it was the chai's fault, but it definitely tasted watered down and not how I like my matcha at all. I prefer it creamier. I learned from my mistakes and got the matcha with cold foam this time, and that was much better. Strong matcha flavor, and that classic deep green color. Would definitely get that again. The service itself is decent. I have ran into baristas sometimes that are more so apathetic, but I mean I guess how enthusiastic can you be about making coffee. The vibes are great, but this place is always packed so secure your spot early.
