My friend and I visited A Ti on a Thursday during Dine LA Restaurant Week. I arrived first and was seated right away, which was a nice start. I will say, I was a little thrown off when I walked in because there were quite a few flies flying around inside the restaurant. That definitely made me question the cleanliness and wasn't the first impression I was hoping for. Things got a little more interesting when we started ordering. We were participating in the Dine LA menu, which requires everyone at the table to participate, and we were happy to do so. However, while we were deciding what we wanted from the Dine LA menu, we asked if we could start with an order of guacamole and chips. Our waitress told us that we couldn't order the appetizer until we placed our full order. I asked if this was specifically a Dine LA policy or a restaurant policy, and she explained that it was the restaurant's policy in general. I found that unusual because I've never been to a restaurant where you couldn't order an appetizer while taking a little time to decide on the rest of your meal. It was a small thing, but combined with the flies, it definitely affected my overall first impression. Now, the food itself was delicious. Once everything came out, we really enjoyed our meals, and I would absolutely come back for the food. Overall, I'd give A Ti 3.5/5 . The food was definitely a highlight, but the flies and the appetizer policy took away from what could have been a much better overall dining experience. I'd be open to returning, but I'd like to see those things addressed first.

Real cute date spot! Both inside and outside are super vibey. Drinks were not the best, I probably should have gotten tequila instead of mezcal because the smokiness of the mezcal overwhelmed the fruity lightness of the rest of it. The ceviche was the best dish - perfectly fresh and balanced. The sauce on this was so good we ended up using it on our grilled fish tacos because they were a little bland. Everyone on Yelp and our server recommended the duck mole, and while it was cooked well and loved that it was served with fresh warm tortillas I didn't think it was memorable enough to order again. I would def come back here for a cute dinner date to try more of the menu. Echoplex, Bar Flores, and El Moro are right nearby.

We went to A Ti for DineLA and had a really enjoyable meal overall. For the appetizers, we got the tuna tostada and Caesar salad. We both chose the fish taco, which came as a single taco per the DineLA menu. For the mains, we ordered the duck mole which came with blue corn tortillas and branzino. We also added an extra order of chips and guacamole Everything was really flavorful, and the sauces were definitely a highlight. The salsa machaca/chili oil on the tuna tostada and fish taco was delicious, as was the citrusy, savory green salsa on the branzino. The mole was also rich and flavorful. The service was good, with our waitress checking in throughout the meal and regularly refilling our water. My main issue was with the value of the DineLA menu. Depending on the combination you choose, it didn't feel like much of a deal. For example, a regular order of the beef or fish tacos comes with two tacos, while the DineLA menu only includes one. When you factor that in, choosing the cheaper appetizer, taco, and entrée can actually make the DineLA menu feel more expensive than ordering those items à la carte. Although that wasn't the case for us with the options we chose, I found that a little disingenuous. Overall, the food was very good, but the value of the DineLA menu could be better.

We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated within minutes. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The lighting was dim and cozy, creating a nice, more romantic atmosphere. The prices were a little on the expensive side, but the food and flavors made it worth it. The ceviche was definitely the highlight--fresh, flavorful, and absolutely perfect. I also really loved the mushroom taco, which was an explosion of flavors and one of my favorite dishes of the night. The tuna tostada was good, but it wasn't a standout for me. I also tried the nopal mezcal cocktail with a worm-salt rim, which was pleasantly surprising. It was fun to try, but probably not something I would order again. That said, I'm definitely interested in trying some of their other cocktails. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back--especially for the ceviche and mushroom taco!

Really yummy Mexican spot with an elevated vibe, great food, and delicious cocktails! All the food was great overall, but the ceviche was the absolute star of the show for me. It was spicy, flavorful, and so good I wanted to drink the sauce. The branzino was also solid; loved the green sauce it came in, though it felt a little small for the price. My friend said the mushroom taco was incredible, but unfortunately the beef taco was a letdown. It was a bit greasy, tasted like something I could make at home, and the American cheese was a little off-putting. It also came with a pretty bland salsa, and I was honestly shocked that a Mexican restaurant didn't have hot sauce! On the bright side, the drinks were all delicious (I really enjoyed my negroni), and the service was fast and helpful throughout.

Wonderful experience. Very small and intimate with a beautiful bar and a menu that feels thoughtful and elevated without trying too hard. The cocktails were unique and well balanced. I had the cherimoya daiquiri (tasted more like a lychee martini) and the yuzu margarita and really enjoyed both. We ordered almost everything on the menu including the quail, mole, tomato feta salad, crispy beef tacos, and the tuna + kanpachi tostadas. Everything was seasoned really well and tasted fresh with lots of bold flavors throughout. They definitely love adding peppers and spice into their dishes, which I personally enjoyed, but my friend who's more sensitive to heat wasn't really warned how spicy some items would be. While everything was good and clearly made with care, there wasn't necessarily one standout dish that I would rush back specifically for. Still, the overall experience, ambiance, and quality of the food made it worth trying and I'd absolutely come back for drinks and small bites with friends. They do have a small shared parking lot in front, but it fills up quickly during dinner hours, so I'd give yourself extra time in case you need to find street parking nearby. Bonus that they're right next to the churro place so we walked over there after dinner.

Went back a second time, this time we tried more dishes. Sweet potato taco - really good had a little kick of spice Oyster mushroom - taco shell came with fired cheese on top. Honestly it tasted like a carne asada taco Black cod entree - very fresh, and light

Chef Andrew Ponce, the star of A Tí. Hope Guide Michelin notices his Mexican American cuisine with a sophisticated menu.
    Gary I.

A Tí/to you is in a more upscale strip mall elevated from Sunset Boulevard so hidden from view. There is a small parking lot. First come, first served. A Tí is the creation of Chef Andrew Ponce, who was Chef de Cuisine at Bestia and did a stint at une étoile Taco María. Chef Ponce is in good company with Chef Roberto Berrelleza of Babita Mexicuisine who was one of the first to use French culinary technique to various regional Mexican cuisines, and Chef Carlos Salgado of Taco María who had his own "Alta California" style. Now it is Chef Ponce's turn to place his imprimateur on the Mexican American scene. It will be a pleasure to see how his notable cuisine continues to evolve. A comforting note to all afraid of piquant chiles, there was no chile heat to any of the dishes I ordered. 1) Tuna Tostada is unlike any that I have ever tasted. Thin cuts of yellowfin tuna fatty belly, that is dressed with a red tinted, oily Salsa Negra, acts like a pavé on ultra crisp, light, fried/toasted? corn tortilla with an underlying lemon Aïoli (ah ee oh lee). The tactile sensation is a complex combination of smooth, suave, velvety, satiny vs airy crispness. The unctuous, capsicum earthiness and the citrus creaminess add richness. This is a wowser of a dish not to be missed. 2) Quail: Whole quail cut up in quarters seems dusted in corn starch batter and fried similar to Japanese Kara Agè. Crispy, crunchy, fried in new sweet, clean oil. Two slices of what may be pickled Nopal/cactus paddle were hidden in the sauce. The sauce is buttermilk based with Ancho chile dressing and splotches of chile oil. This dish also seems to reference our Deep South where chicken is marinated in buttermilk prior to frying for moister meat. 3) Fish Taco: Striped Seabass white meat lightly grilled to not dry out the delicate fish. Shredded cabbage and pickled slivered onion dyed red by Jamaica Hibiscus flower all on a purple corn Tortilla. I really couldn't sense the Chipotle/smoky Jalapeño. Elevated street taco style. 4) The 800 day old Mole concept is like many Japanese Rāmen shops where the soup broth ingredients are added to the pot but the pot is never emptied. There is some tiny bit of the original. This Mole seems chock full of herbs that I probably don't know anything about, but could imagine that I tasted chocolate and peanuts. The Confit de Canard/duck like Carnitas is cooked in its own juices and fat for a long time. The skin is fatty, lush, rich. The meat is plush, moist, soft. It is the perfect Confit. Do I sense a hint of lardon to add a porky smokiness? Jamaica pickled onions to clear the palate with a gastrique, and cool lime crema to refresh the mouth. Thick, chewy, soft yet firm purple corn Tortillas to make your own Taco de Pato. 1-4a) A Tí Ni is a portmanteau of the name of the restaurant and the Ni in Martini as explained by the ever busy, hard working bartender. Mezcal based so there is a cloying smokiness, smooth sweetness. Also added Ayuuk Pasilla spirit which is pasilla mixe chiles grown by the indigenous Mixe people in Oaxaca, Mexico, smoke-dried. Japanese gin for more refined herbals and Vermouth. Hoja Santa oil which some sense as earthy, anise, eucalyptus. This was the perfect pairing to the entire meal although it sang amazingly well with the Tuna Tostada. 5) Budino is Italian chocolate Mousse, but this time Mexicanized by the use of Oaxacan chocolate and addition of Hoja Santa oil. Perhaps this was inspired by pre-conquest Mexican Emperors who were one of the elite to imbibe bitter chocolate with sacred herbs. This version is extra heavy, thick and chocolatey with subliminal earthiness. Unfortunately, there is no coffee to pair the bitter with the sweet. With the demise of Babita and Taco María, A Tí seems to be one of the few premier Mexican American restaurants carrying the torch for "La Cocina Nueva Mexicana Norte Americana". Sampling Chef Ponce's technically superior and inspired cuisine, I get the feeling Guide Michelin recognition may be coming its way. 4+ stars PS I get A Tí wants to be cool and hip which is fine. The room gets so dark that it's a shame that it does not do justice to the food. Seeing his creations in better light must be glorious. Some minor service glitches such as trying to swiftly whisk away dishes I haven't quite finished without asking. The well meaning staff doesn't yet seem to have developed a finer intuitive sense.

A Ti is a neat, cozy Mexican with Asian influence restaurant that has some tasty bites. We showed up at opening without a reservation and were able to sit at the bar (if you go early even with 4 people you can likely sit outside). A tini was a nice spirit forward drink that tasted elevated but still easy to drink. Tuna Tostada - love the flavors here. Quality of fish was good and worked really well with the aioli and lan ga ma-esque seasoning Shrimp - good tasty bites here. Love the cook and sauce that was brushed on Beef tacos - skippable. Like a quality version of a basic ground beef taco but not worth it when there's more worthwhile items on the menu Wish I had space for some of the entrees. Bartender was awesome and help. Plaza parking available.

Dine LA is what brought us to A Ti. We'd heard about this restaurant all of 2025 and we finally paid a visit to see what the fuss was all about. So glad we did! Please note though that the space is tiny. Tables are close together like they are at Sugarfish or Matu. If you arrive early for your reservation, expect to be asked to wait outside for a few minutes before getting sorted out. Additionally, parking is problematic. A Ti is in a strip mall but there are only maybe 10 or so spaces, so if they're taken up by customers of the other stores, you'll need to circle around the block. Now the food. We all chose the tuna tostadas as our first course and we were all so happy we did. The tuna was pounded flat and garnishes with some sort of salsa and chili oil. It was flavorful and crispy and was perfectly balanced. Not greasy even with the chili oil and salsa negra. It could've stood to have more tuna but I was in love. The crispy beef taco was a standout. My son loved it so much he had to have a couple more! The tortilla has a gorgeous mouthfeel to it - even with the hot beef and cheese filling, it maintained its structural integrity. The salsa completed it - it's the needed acid to help offset all that umami. The Wagyu steak was also wonderful. And it's a surprisingly generous portion! We loved it with the soft tortilla. The green onions were a little hard to manage because they're served to you whole and slicing them after they'd been cooked in oil is a bit tricky. Otherwise, it's a beautiful entree. For dessert we got the budino. It's not part of the dine LA offering but I suggest getting this! Their version has some sort of sea salt on top which truly brought out the cocoa flavors. Not too sweet! All in all, this night was a success. Shoutout to Daniel for being so attentive to our needs. Now we know what to expect. And we're definitely coming back so we can try everything else on the menu!

Came to this place for dinner and I absolutely loved their ambiance. Their low lighting and decor really added to the food experience. I started with a few appetizers like the tuna tostada, Kanpacha tostada, red snapper ceviche and their aguachiles. All food was 10/10. I also had their crispy beef taco but was not impressed by it. My friend had the oyster mushroom and swore it was amazing. For their main dish we got the duck with 800 day old mole along with the Arranchera . The main dishes were shareable however the appetizer tostadas were really not. Would be nice if they had smaller tostadas so it could be shared. Overall I give this place a high recommendation. Also! There is parking available when you drive into the place. Service was 10/10. The waiter was very attentive and helped us with any question we had in regard to our food.

Walked in tonight to try their DineLA offerings. I liked that there was a small private lot, a rarity on Sunset. The only thing open for seating was at the bar. The boozy agua Fresca with mezcal was divine! Onto the food.. the DineLA menu featured an app, a taco and a main. By far, the star was the app for me- the Caesar salad. I could eat this every day! The lettuce was fresh, crisp and had a lemony flavor. The crouton bits were obviously house made and so full of flavor. I wish there had been more than four in my salad. The dressing and cheese coating were perfection. Next I had a beef taco. It was ok.. the cheese on top tasted vegan-y (is that a word?). The sauce made it more palatable, but this one gave me some heartburn later. For the main, I went with the arrachera. I wanted to love it, but the seasoning was a bit much and the outer parts were charred. The blue nixtamal mini tortillas made the first bite tolerable until it wasn't. My friend had the duck mole, and that was absolutely chef's kiss! I wish I had chosen that. The staff were attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back for a do over and get the mole.

A modern Mexican bistro located in a small strip mall on Sunset Blvd. While there are tacos, mole, and ceviches in the menu it is not your typical Mexican fare. Nearly everything on the menu is a modern interpretation of traditional Mexican. The Mole with duck confit was delicious. The quail was crispy with a slight kick. The sweet potato taco was recommended by our server and it didn't disappoint. The El Pastor was not quite what I had expected. Instead of thin layers of pork it had chucks of pork belly. Overall a refreshing take on Modern Mexican cuisine.

Overall, I would go again maybe on a Friday or Saturday night to see the difference, if any of the crowd and vibe.

You created something with soul. Come here. Eat. Drink. Say hello. Watch a Saints game. Meet some good people. Let Natalie bless you with her special drinks and smile! Then stay longer than you planned. That's Evangeline's Swamp Room.

The bartenders are down to earth--real true south attitude (not the fake southern charm kind but the "I've got your back and will kick it in the dirt when you're down and cheers you when you're up" kind) It's New Orleans "themed" but truly a wonderful addition and neighborhood spot for all the Chinatown and east LA residents. Big plus: It's never hard to find parking. Definitely worth the trip or stop on by!

We got the Poet's Dream for $16 and El Camino for $16. Both drinks were really strong and tasted pretty good. The El Camino was very similar to an old fashioned. Felt the drinks were good for the price. They start the music at 10pm. There a line forming outside by 10pm. They let people upstairs shortly after the music started. We were able to sit on the couch upstairs. The place got packed really fast. Unfortunately, it got really hot. We left at 11:30pm and saw that the line reached the Hill Street.

My friend surprised me and bought me a birthday shot last night, it was really good! He said he ordered us green tea shots! Very flavorful, sweet, and kinda strong too (but maybe that's because we were both running on lowk empty stomachs haha). They also always have water dispensers stationed on both floors :) The security guard (bouncer?) is friendly, always offering greetings as you enter and leave There's plenty of restroom stalls (two private ones downstairs, a larger one with a BEAUTIFUL fountain sink & full body mirror upstairs) Vibes are immaculate! Low lighting, background music, plenty of seating Highly recommend!

(A lot of thought went into the acoustics & speaker system.) This chic establishment serves up European-inspired small plates, and their cocktail program melds inspiration with a respect for classic structure. The sultry pulsating bass lines that ooze through the speakers set the tone for a chilled vibe, and the tropical motifs provide an escape from reality. It's a great spot to relax and catch a game or hang with friends, which I did. I met some of my favorite Yelp peeps here for Sunday Brunch. We received a warm & friendly welcome from Rasheeda (bartender). She was darling, as was our server, Mason. They were both fantastic. We settled into the cozy couches tucked in the corner and ordered several dishes to share: Hummus, Prosciutto Panino, Eggplant Panino, Mediterranean Eggs, Green Shakshuka, & Fries. Drinks consisted of: Nitro Cold Brew, Bloody Mary, Age of Aquarius, & a Lavender Gimlet. The fries were tossed with rosemary salt and came with garlic aioli & ketchup. They were addicting & delicious. My Lavender Gimlet did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed their selections, and we had a great time together. This was the perfect meet up spot. I'm looking forward to coming back. *Street parking (can be tricky.) Metered parking across the street. *Happy Hour 2 pm - 6 pm daily & all-day Monday.
