Joe Bernardo worked miracles on a shoulder with 2 rotator cuff tears and a ruptured bicep tendon. I opted not to have surgery, which I understood was not always successful and spent 4 months in PT with Joe. The treatment plan was always specific to my current range of motion, pain level and the activity level I wanted to achieve. We diligently worked through all of the functionality. I cannot say enough about how responsive and respectful Joe was at every session and I am over the moon with the result. I also want to say that all of the support staff was terrific and I was welcomed with open arms every time I arrived.

Most recently, I worked with Chris and the team on some knee pain I was experiencing during runs. The thoroughness with which my situation was diagnosed was highly impressive. He put together a recovery plan to get me back out on the road for runs with a comprehensive sequence of stretching, massaging, strengthening, and form correction. I have so many tools in my tool belt now to prevent relapse into a similar situation and I have Chris and the team to thank! Everyone I interacted with in the practice is top notch - from the front desk staff to the PTs to the assistants. They really take the time to get to know you and always checked in with me to see how my family members who had finished their treatment were doing. I highly recommend working with them!

I had such a great experience! Lino used ultrasound to carefully examine the area of my muscle injury, then did electro-acupuncture treatment and helped adjust my pelvic alignment as well. After the session, the tightness in my muscles already felt significantly better. I also mentioned my neck discomfort, and she explained that it was likely caused by compensation from my rotator cuff muscle group. She taught me several rehabilitation exercises with resistance bands that I should do daily to improve the issue long term. Very knowledgeable, patient, and kind :) I genuinely felt like she was treating the root cause instead of just the symptoms. Highly recommend!

Problem 1: After making it clear that I was in excruciating, I can barely walk pain, the doctor told me that she couldn't treat me the same day, but that I would have to come back to be treated in the future. In all my years of chiro experience, including having now been to 2 others in the directly surrounding area, this has NEVER happened before. Problem 2: They are extremely unprofessional and disorganized. There is constant confusion about payments, how much one owes, whether or not doctors are in or out of network, you CANNOT trust that they will be able to verify anything with your insurance company accurately or correctly, etc. Oh, and they only take cash, but never have change. Really? A doctor who only takes cash? Again, never heard of such a thing. Problem 3: After 3 or so visits (which I regret having done in the first place) the doctor said "huh, you seem to be my problem patient for the week. I can't seem to quite get at that one area where you're out of alignment." She was entirely incapable of helping me get better. Again, I have never had a chiropractor who was unable - physically, professionally or what have you - of providing services that offered some degree of relief. Avoid at all costs and go to Dr. Grossi or Dr. Maddalo near by - they are both in an entire other league above!
