Honest review from a graduating High school senior:…read more This school isn't bad, but has a LOT of issues. Staff turnover has been seriously high ever since the pandemic. I believe the school is really prioritizing the managing of student social behavior and classes around those at the cost of really hiring effective teachers in sufficient roles to focus the students on academics and transitioning into the real world. As someone who is graduating senior year in a week, I find that a major fault of the school. It wasn't until recently where I realized I have forgotten a majority of basic Algebra 2 and did not learn enough of High school topics due to the lack of academic enforcement and general management by the higher-ups and admins. The diversity ratio is also disastrously low, and there is barely any diversity in the school, and they also would rather keep problematic, distracting students in the same classroom with high-attentive neurotypical students due to the school not knowing how to manage a situation that is their job to manage, and I believe it's very unprofessional. There were positives though, the staff are super friendly to get along with, they really become your friends in the school if you don't like the students, I also feel overtime I was given a good amount of emotional support to manage my anxiety, but when I got through that hurdle, I began to severely struggle academically, even though I had good grades in my classes. Overall, this school that has a lot of potential, but has gradually been going downward in the last few years since the pandemic, and if the turnover continues with the lack of heart & soul it used to have a few years ago, I fear this school will progressively get worse.

This home health agency now called MGHBrigham provides traumatizing incompetent care. Michelle, the…read morenurse in charge of my geographic area, interpreted my disclosure that in my living will and advance directive, I have a long standing provision for "death with dignity...dnr, dni etc." I am relatively young but I had to make decisions for my parents so now I have my wishes in writing. This stupid and/or religiously perverse nurse took this as a potential suicide so a few days later at 4 am (!), four Waltham police broke into my home on something called a Section 12 which allows police to break in if an attempted suicide is indicated. In no way, was I suicidal. I was immersed in three spine construction surgeries and had my Will etc. in order. I mentioned it to her in case something happened. I had to call my PCP at 4 am. who knew me for 28 years to talk her and the police down. All Waltham police officers (4) who showed up were hot to trot and juiced up to take me in. This was unconscionable. Separately, Michelle was told by me, I probably had a UTI. I said I had a staph UTI previously but the daft Michelle said I non detectable by another person body odor and to buy expensive Lume. I did so but immediately after pressing purchase on Amazon, I thought better, and just called an ambulance (not yet able to drive) and went to NWH where I was diagnosed, as I thought, with a UTI (urinary tract infection). I fired Michelle and this agency. Now, I am suing her, the organization, and the Waltham Police. Imagine if I wasn't with it enough to self-advocate. Does she get a commission for sending people to a mental health institution? Stupidly wrong diagnosis? I hope I get her fired.

I've had five UTI's since November 2021 and three which needed to be treated by IV antibiotics and…read moreI was given a picc line to complete these at home. Before discharge, I was scheduled to be seen weekly by a visiting nurse from Partners. The same (outstanding) nurse which scheduled times to meet with me on Tuesday's, unfortunately, just relocated. The following week, someone from Partners arrived unannounced at my home. When my wife called me to let me know, I called and spoke with the "Clinical Manager" and explained that the previous nurse came on Tuesday and we generally worked on a time to meet. With no explanation, Solomon told me that they had changed my day to Monday. Further, I was told they can tell me the day they are coming, but not a time. When asked if arranging a mutually convenient time to meet was asking too much since I work, I was then told I needed to be home bound to receive their services. I also called the "Clinical Director" who conveniently kicked the can back down to the first person I spoke with. I want to be understanding of their regulations: if, for insurance purposes, you have to be "home-bound" then why was I admitted for services before? And why was this only mentioned when I expressed concern that a patient is expected to wait compliantly until their visiting nurse arrives? I'm a stage 4 cancer patient who was discharged from Partners Healthcare at Home because, thank God, I'm still actively working (but need weekly picc line dressing changes and blood work).

Yes Five Stars. Not given lightly. My father first used this company because of a friend's…read morerecommendation a year ago. He had just had a pace-maker installed and needed help at home. Complete Private Home Care sent out various people to handle everything we needed, carefully following his Primary Care Physician's list. This included an initial consult with Sue and then Danielle the nurse in charge of all the other aides and therapists. I know their names because I had to use them again after my father ended up in the hospital again this time with pneumonia. I didn't have much experience with home health workers when I hired Complete Home Health. However because of my age (mid 50s) I have had too much experience with my friend's parent's aides and assisted living situations. Also I had to oversee aides in Texas for my grandparents. So while I had not personally hired but one aide before (freelance--without an agency--also a friend's recommendation) I do feel able to award those five stars. What sets them apart? First they are very professional. I think perhaps because they are a smaller company, they are on top of each of their clients. They always knew who I was, and who my dad was and which workers were involved in his care. The co-ordinator Jon has a handle on all the clients. Next, the Administrative nurse has a great list of caregivers she can call upon. My father had problems swallowing and was prone to inhalation pneumonia, the therapists helped him learn strategies for eating. Physical therapists taught him to get him up walking again, home assessors came for safety. Further, they took a huge load from my shoulders by communicating with my father's Primary Care Physician at Harvard, so I did not need to still be in charge of all that on top of all the rest I was in charge of. Finally, all the people were loving and I never worried someone would steal from us or hurt my dad. They demonstrated far more patience than frankly, I had left in me. They suggested intelligent solutions to home problems such as different pill containers, cutting back shrubs for ease on stairs, removing certain roll around chairs, etc. They responded Immediately, and were able to be at the house within 4 hours of suddenly learning he was being released from rehab. When I was forced to hire them for out of pocket 24 hour care, they were able to make this far more affordable by charging for blocks of hours. Because we had installed 2 Drop-cams we could see that the 24 hour aides were never more than 20 feet away. This is a fabulous company. Hire them and feel safe. If you are like me, you need it.
