There isn't much indication of where you should check-in. They only have one therapist here and no receptionist so you really have no idea where to go or what to do upon arrival. They have 2 consultation rooms and that's it. So if the therapist is working on someone, you have no idea whether or not they are there or if they are working with someone. Furthermore, he often attends to courses during the weekends to further improve his practice. This tells a lot on his mentality: providing the best care for his patients. In my case, sessions included mostly spotting areas of muscle tightness, active release and gastron. After the session (and not during, unlike most other PTs), I would then perform stretching and strengthening following what he had taught to me. I also very much appreciate his willingness to answer any question I would ask. I tend to ask many questions, typically of the form "What is the impact of X on medical condition Y, and why". For each question, he would carefully reflect on the human physiology and provide a very scientific answer (I'm familiar with medical research).

My daughter picked up new skills that I've been trying to teach her for ages. There's something special about the intensive style of therapy, and the particular therapists we had (for ST/OT/PT) were so caring and effective. You can tell I can't say enough good things about them. Aside from that, it was just a really nice feeling of comradery with the other parents and kids who were there alongside us for the three week experience. You're not alone, and you can feel it. It's a nice reminder and a joy to be in a welcoming place for three weeks. This was the second time we came to this NAPA location - it's a lot of work to make it happen.
