Forks seems to have better coffee options than food and drive through coffee huts are popular here. Before hitting the road, we stopped here for a caffeine fix. The stand seems to be ran by local teens who are very friendly. I ordered the Mexican Mocha, was a little on the sweet side for my taste, and had a slightly grainy texture (probably from cinnamon). Overall, it's an enjoyable drink.

Drive through coffee spot in Forks, WA. This is a food desert that has more coffee spots than food spots. It's a good option for coffee again considering the location.

DELICIOUS! Fast, friendly service. Oatmeal cup was so good, as well as the bagel with cream cheese. Breakfast sandwich and scone was fresh. Iced latte was really perfect. Also, the protein shake was tasty. I'd definitely come back. Super sweet young girl took our order and was a delight to deal with. Really great customer service!!

We had a excellent breakfast at Shot in the Dark. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Note, the cafe is set up as drive/through only, so there is no seating inside or outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick and friendly. We ordered two egg sandwiches, coffee and a smoothy. The coffee had a rich flavour and the sandwiches were made fresh on the spot and were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Busy coffee shop in Forks, WA.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We stopped by here for breakfast before heading out to the Hoh Rainforest. Barista was friendly. I ordered a #3 sandwich, sub spicy sausage for regular sausage. Because it was a custom order, it came out to be 8 bucks and some change. Definitely felt like a Seattle price I wasn't expecting XD It was a good sandwich though so I really can't complain plus they're off of Hwy 101 so it is what it is. They don't take American Express so make sure you have a backup form of payment.

Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Had the #2 (bagel) and #3 (English muffin). The bagel was def the winner, but both were solid choices. The caramel latte and vanilla latte were the best we had all trip in WA. Highly recommend this place!

a cute drive through only cafe with some really friendly staff! we got the: - egg, sausage, cheese on cheese bagel ($6.50) - egg, ham, cheese croissant ($6.50) - egg, spicy sausage, cheese english muffin ($6.50) - fairlife protein iced mocha ($5.50) - tropical harmony smoothie ($6) I liked the bagel sandwich and the smoothie the best! everything was pretty good and affordable, but they forgot our yogurt parfait :"(

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Another cute drive through coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service here was faster and I got a matcha latte (though I'm not sure if that was the best decision). The latte was a tad too sweet and it didn't sit well with me afterwards.

Stopped by for a quick pick-me-up on the way to Hoh Rainforest. Super impressed by how delicious the coffee was here! Ghirardelli mocha had that perfect chocolate flavor - sweet but rich. If you're a mocha lover, you will love this. Their apple cider is incredible - great if you want something uncaffeinated. Also grabbed a blueberry scone - it was decent. Would probably try a decent pastry next time, though. Drive-thru coffee stand. Staff were friendly, and they were efficient at preparing our order. Definitely recommend stopping by!

My dad's coffee was not only bland but was barely halfway full. Mocha was not a mocha at all. They did not have any warm food

Dillon found Granny's cafe nearby and that it was opening in about 15 minutes. We headed there and thankfully we got there right as they opened. Several parties entered shortly after us so luckily we grabbed a 3 top and checked out the menu. We each ordered a chocolate malt and a basket. My boyfriend and I chose the burrito basket and Aunt C. got the breakfast sandwich basket. When you walk into Granny's cafe you are immediately greeted by the vintage decor and the friendly employee at the counter. Once we sat down I had time to take it all in. Just above us was a ceiling shelf displaying a bunch of different salt and pepper shakers. A piano sat behind us with an old meat grinder nearby. They had some shirts for sale and a restroom just outside. An eclectic mix of vintage decor and several tables to serve guests inside and outside. Once the food came the three of us were famished. The chocolate malts were thick and delicious with a hefty dollop of whipped cream on top. Portion sizes were on point for our hunger needs, we were unable to finish everything. The burrito was stuffed with fresh spinach, tomatoes, cheese, and choice of meat. I got the sausage and all of it together was flavorful and hearty. This little cafe is certainly worth stopping at, be sure to check their hours before getting excited. It worked out that they opened at 11 on this day after we had filled our morning with an adventurous hike. We drove by a few hours later and noticed they got a lot busier after they opened, we were thankful we got there early and filled our tummies to get us through the rest our day. I highly recommend this little cafe if you happen to be heading in or around Olympic national park, in this area. I know we'd definitely go back when we visit again!

We originally planned to hike Cape Flattery, but thick coastal fog had other ideas. Looking for a place to grab lunch, we found this small, unassuming restaurant in Neah Bay--and we're so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine hospitality. We even had the pleasure of meeting Pat herself, and she made us feel like longtime friends. That welcoming atmosphere made the experience just as memorable as the food. We ordered the famous Indian taco, served on fresh homemade fry bread, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The fry bread was warm, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and piled high with delicious toppings. We couldn't leave without trying the sweet fry bread dessert, and it was incredible. Warm, lightly crisp, and topped with cinnamon and sugar, it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Pat's Place is cash only, so be sure to plan ahead, but don't let that stop you from visiting. If you're exploring Cape Flattery, Neah Bay, or anywhere on the Olympic Peninsula, this restaurant is absolutely worth the short detour. Great food, wonderful people, generous portions, and authentic local hospitality made this one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area, and we highly recommend stopping in--you'll leave with a full stomach and a smile. Check out our video on our socials @reessroots
