I was honestly super surprised how long the wait was. They do have lines on both sides, so I figure that was part of it. Once I made it to the window to order the experience was great. They have seasonal drinks right now and I tried the golden maple latte. It was by far the best coffee I had during my travels yesterday (and I had lattes from four different places). The espresso itself was smooth and didn't leave a bitter aftertaste. The salted vanilla was a great touch. I would for sure come here again, I almost went an hour out of my way the next morning to come back just because I knew it would be a good latte.

The lavender latte the next day wasn't as impressive but drinkable. Be specific how you like your coffee is my advice- I should have added extra hot bc it was pretty lukewarm. . My husband enjoyed his hot chocolate and I really liked their oatmeal cup. I don't recommend the pastries if you're picky because they're just pre-packaged sweets.

The salmon burger was especially delicious, and the onion rings were perfectly crispy. The coffee was also a great pick-me-up before continuing our road trip. What really made this place stand out, though, was the outstanding customer service. The woman preparing our food took the time to chat with us, answer our questions, and even shared some excellent local tips--including a better route to see the famous Tree of Life. Those kinds of personal recommendations make traveling so much more enjoyable and are something you simply can't get from a navigation app. If you're heading to or from the Hoh Rain Forest, do yourself a favor and stop here. Great food, friendly people, and genuine Pacific Northwest hospitality made this one of our favorite stops on our Washington adventure. There were two groups in front of us but it took a very long time to get the food. We ended up taking our food to-go to stay on schedule. Fortunately, there is a small gift shop inside for something quick or a souvenir and there's some seating outside on the patio. Be advised, however, the line to purchase something from the gift shop is also the line to order food so the space inside gets quite cramped with that combination. In its place, they now have a much limited menu that only includes basic items like English muffin or croissant with ham, egg and cheese. I got the croissant for $5.50. It was literally a frozen sandwich out of a package that they probably got from the convenience store down the street and heated up in the microwave. Now it makes sense why they updated their menu. All the items they sell now likely require no work other than being popped into the microwave. To be honest, I felt pretty insulted to be ripped off like that.
