Especially if they added some unique fresh veggie dishes since there's not a ton of options for vegetarians in Forks.

The chowder wasn't overly fishy and was a fine starter. The fish n chips left much to be desired though. The breading was overly salty we couldn't finish the dish. The salmon however was really good! Pat is in that kitchen cooking up straight Magic. Do yourself a favor and order the pie. Whatever pie there is, get pie. We got a pecan pumpkin pie and this group doesn't like pumpkin or pecan and we were like "okay that's the best pie of my life." The Navajo tacos are incredible. Fry bread incredible. There is not words for the wood past incredible. Just get it. Eat it. We did two orders because we devoured our food so fast. Ashamed to say I almost forgot to mention the chowder- it's the best chowder I've ever had. Like a chicken noodle soup got extra cozy and comfortable and we got clams instead of chicken. It's delicious. We were trying chowders all up the PNW coast and again, Pat unanimously won. Landslide win. Fry bread came out and it was hot, buttery and amazing. Everything was 10/10. My only regret is that I do not have a larger stomach to eat more food. Also I have no clue what people are talking about with rude service? These guys were literally the nicest and friendliest people ever. We ordered everything on the menu except the fry bread and they brought us out one because "you guys really need to try this too." So chatty, so kind, it was worth every penny and more. This is a teeny tiny kitchen and the whole restaurant holds like 4 people waiting in line. We ate outside on picnic tables and enjoyed the view of the harbor and our incredible food. Tables were covered though, so even though it was raining, we stayed dry. Anyways. Looking for a place to grab lunch, we found this small, unassuming restaurant in Neah Bay--and we're so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine hospitality. We even had the pleasure of meeting Pat herself, and she made us feel like longtime friends. That welcoming atmosphere made the experience just as memorable as the food. We ordered the famous Indian taco, served on fresh homemade fry bread, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The fry bread was warm, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and piled high with delicious toppings. We couldn't leave without trying the sweet fry bread dessert, and it was incredible. Warm, lightly crisp, and topped with cinnamon and sugar, it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Pat's Place is cash only, so be sure to plan ahead, but don't let that stop you from visiting. If you're exploring Cape Flattery, Neah Bay, or anywhere on the Olympic Peninsula, this restaurant is absolutely worth the short detour. Great food, wonderful people, generous portions, and authentic local hospitality made this one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip. The nachos were basically just a bag of stale chips served on a plate. There was maybe sour cream on ONE chip. The cheese was literally cold and frozen onto the chips. I'm not even exaggerating. The sandwiches were also extremely bland and nothing about the food matched what the reviews made this place seem like. Even looking through the reviews beforehand, so many of the Elite reviews read like the same forced AI review saying how amazing everything is. After actually eating here, I seriously question how this place has such a high rating. Easily one of the worst meals we had on the entire trip. I don't even wanna put a pic of the nachos that's how bad it was. the sandwiches were actually pretty decent that's about it.

Wow what a gem in Forks!…read more Nicely curated beer selection- I love that once they finish a keg they swap it out randomly with what they have - meaning each time you come in, the beer menu will be different! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and from the moment we walked in, we felt like more than just another customer. We ordered the Bigfoot Burger, the salmon burger, fries, onion rings, and coffee. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot after a morning of hiking. The salmon burger was especially delicious, and the onion rings were perfectly crispy. The coffee was also a great pick-me-up before continuing our road trip. What really made this place stand out, though, was the outstanding customer service. The woman preparing our food took the time to chat with us, answer our questions, and even shared some excellent local tips--including a better route to see the famous Tree of Life. Those kinds of personal recommendations make traveling so much more enjoyable and are something you simply can't get from a navigation app. If you're heading to or from the Hoh Rain Forest, do yourself a favor and stop here. We got burgers, which had great flavor, and coffee, which was decent. The cashier was kind and well-informed about the menu. The wait to get the food was much longer than we thought. There were two groups in front of us but it took a very long time to get the food. We ended up taking our food to-go to stay on schedule. Fortunately, there is a small gift shop inside for something quick or a souvenir and there's some seating outside on the patio. Be advised, however, the line to purchase something from the gift shop is also the line to order food so the space inside gets quite cramped with that combination. Porta Potties were available for restrooms.

The chicken and fish sandwich were both over breaded, under seasoned. The fries were soggy and unappetizing. Didn't hear any complaints from the salad, but it came with too much dressing. Don't like to complain but given where we were this was our best option. The food, average at best and maybe the day we came, they lacked staff for proper service. Great views from the restaurant.

I can't say for sure i'll be back because of the remote location but if you're within a few hours, it's worth the trip!
