Raul at ProVolt Electric is an absolute professional!…read more Long story short I had my entire HVAC system replaced by a supplied contractor from my Home Warranty company, needless to say, after install, the home warranty contractors left my home with half power. Instead of dealing with an already unreliable and waiting weeks for them to fix the mess they created... I called ProVolt. ProVolt was on time and ready to work! Raul kept me informed during the entire process. I cannot ask for a better contractor! Will most definitely be calling Raul and ProVolt for any electrical needs I may have! A++

This guy will press you and press you for a service fee and continuously explain what that service…read morefee is for even though it was understood and established the 1st initial conversation. Right before the appointment time, he's pressing and explaining again about the $95 service fee. So I called him to inquire if he's been scammed before and to assure him I would pay him when he showed up, and he'd already explained to me what the $95 is for. His response was to just hang up! That tells me that he was probably just planning to take the payment via zelle and never show up or perform a bad evaluation to mark up his price. A decent established business wouldn't be pressing so hard to make the customer feel uncomfortable, or they would apologize still to come to service the call. I've never dealt with a business service provider in California City that was like this, and I do a lot of business in California City with them because of the many properties I manage out there. So if you wanna use this guy, just be weary on him. Keep pressing and explaining about the service fee when he already explained it the 1st time on his 3rd time explaining and not even on the job site. People go through financial hardship and be thirsty and just be so focused on getting the money in their hands amd completely forget about how to conduct business. I don't know how more clearly he can get. Yes the $95 is for you to show up to evaluate the problem. If its a small issue it will be another $95 but if its something else them additional charges will apply. I don't need to keep being notified about $95 amd you're not there yet...

They arrived EXACTLY at 3! And their service only got better from there. This father and son could not of been more friendly, polite and knowledgeable. They gave off an immediate air of honesty and confidence. Because of medical concerns it is IMPERATIVE that I have a fine tuned AC. They could of taken advantage of me and sold me the " kitchen sink" ,but they didn't! I found their prices for all the work they did VERY reasonable. They did many things even install a new thermostat, and were done in EXACTLY the time they said it would take. They even cleaned up after themselves. Not that they made any mess to begin with. But they still swept up! Lol These guys were so great I already booked them for future maintenance and will us them for ALL my future needs. I am even hiring the son David for other jobs around the house. I HIGHLY recommend this FATHER/SON team for all your AC/HEATING needs. I just wish I could give them MORE then 5 stars!

This woman owned business sent a representative, who is also their technician, out to evaluate my 30 year old Carrier unit. It still ran, but I was previously told I couldnt get the freon it needed. I was offered a last years model Carrier unit. It was a 3 ton. Mine was a 1 1/2 ton unit. I questioned if it wasnt too big. Tech said no, it would use less energy since I have a small 1000 sq. ft. home. As everyone can see...they saw me coming. I'm in my late 70's. I'm on a fixed income. I'm looking at my Edison bill. Im dumb founded. I tried registering this unit by serial and model numbers. Not sure if it worked. I still have not received any paperwork or invoice. I did get and email which indicated B and D Mechanical received $7800.00. from me. I bought a themostate from Home Depot. My son installed it. The Carrier unit on my patio starts up with a loud clatter, is noisy, and moves. I will not recommend this company.

After several positive experiences with Mountain Valley Plumbing, I'm saddened to leave this…read morereview. They responded quickly and came out within a reasonable timeframe, but that's where the positives end. The Yelp project included the detail that it was a tankless water heater, but they showed up unprepared and then complained to my wife that no one told them it was tankless. The details were in the original project listing that they responded to, so no excuse there. They left and came back. When they returned, they did a flush of the tankless water system which took less than an hour and charged my wife $450. This is an insane rate for a simple procedure. A simple hourly rate of maybe $200 would've been acceptable. They told her they'd email me a receipt with the details, but they never did which only makes me question things more. Like I said, I had great experiences in the past. They installed my water softener over 3 years ago and they've done service for me in the past at reasonable rates. This time was unprofessional, unreasonable, and unacceptable. I won't call Mountain Valley Plumbing again after this experience.
