From the time Carlos walked through the door and introduced himself, within 10 minutes I knew I was going to hire him. He was very personable, professional, and it did not take but several minutes for Carlos to explain the entire process for the project. This included the approximate time frame that the project would take: including the filing of permits with the county, the intial approval on matters concerning Southern California Edison, the panel replacement and final inspections by the County and SCE, and finally the stucco repair which looked fabulous upon it's completion. Carlos also has a very good working relationship with everyone involved, and he kept me informed every step of the way. I was impressed with how respectfully various people from SCE speak of Carlos, just as I was impressed by the people who work for Carlos as well. Everyone was friendly, respectful and obviously were happy to be working for Carlos. When a question would arise from me or my wife, even when I felt a little bit silly about some of our enquiries given our lack of knowledge concerning electronics in general, Carlos gave our concerns an amount of attention, dignity, and respect that everyone would hope they had from a professional contractor. In addition, just as is true of all other aspects of Carlos's work, the cost is another impressive and pleasant surprise in the entire process. I had consulted with three other electricians before I met Carlos, and I have absolutely no doubt that we have the best job that could be done, and for the most reasonable price out there anywhere. Coincidentally, shortly after the job was completed, we had a different and unrelated issue that I was concerned about. Carlos went out of his way to assure us that the problem was likely emminating from SCE, and not from within our home, and that he would make time to come out and get a close up recheck of everything. The next day Carlos reached out to his contacts at SCE and then called to inform me that SCE had found the problem and we're fixing it as we spoke. The entire neighborhood had been having the same problem for several days. I was probably the first one in our neighborhood to be informed of this, only because Carlos has the care, the professionalism, and the excellence to go well-above and beyond the call of duty for his clients. As someone who served in the United States Marine Corps, excellence is something I recognize. Thank you, Carlos, for your dedication to excellence. But i was wrong ! The owner came to my house to diagnose my AC unit for an $88 fee then he replaced a thing here and there and since not everyone is familiar with the AC parts and what not, I agreed to have some parts replaced, a few hundred dollars later. Still nothing works then he says that my unit may need to be replaced or fixed for around $1800. After he left I troubleshooted the AC unit and got it to work, so now I am thinking did I even needed the pieces he repaired? It was a loose wire inside the actual filter area or to be more specific the AC control board. So I will NEVER call this company, it's sad that Tehachapi been such a lovely community and small town, the local businesses don't take care of the locals. We have to rely on companies from Bakersfield or Palmdale.

Right before the appointment time, he's pressing and explaining again about the $95 service fee. So I called him to inquire if he's been scammed before and to assure him I would pay him when he showed up, and he'd already explained to me what the $95 is for. His response was to just hang up! That tells me that he was probably just planning to take the payment via zelle and never show up or perform a bad evaluation to mark up his price. A decent established business wouldn't be pressing so hard to make the customer feel uncomfortable, or they would apologize still to come to service the call. I've never dealt with a business service provider in California City that was like this, and I do a lot of business in California City with them because of the many properties I manage out there. So if you wanna use this guy, just be weary on him. Keep pressing and explaining about the service fee when he already explained it the 1st time on his 3rd time explaining and not even on the job site. People go through financial hardship and be thirsty and just be so focused on getting the money in their hands amd completely forget about how to conduct business.
