We stopped here starving on a busy Sunday and we were able to get a seat inside right away. They could accommodate our large group. We ordered the 2L champagne sangria and it was very flavorful and strong. We shared it between a group of six and were all able to have more than one glass. I opted for the goat cheese burger and a side salad. Everything was delicious and the service was fast. I love that this is a farm to table restaurant. You can see the refrigerator with the fresh vegetables they use to cook. read more

Stopped in for brunch on a Sunday. The staff was accommodating for our party of 5. It's a bit of the expensive side , but great presentation. There was a strong sewer smell for those sitting outside, I'm sure it wasn't their fault. Eggs and bacon looked great, rest I'd the food was ok. read more

Great atmosphere with outside tables for lots of people watching. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we shared a great pitcher of sangria! I had a sie green salad and the tomato gazpacho which was exactly what I was craving and my husband had a steak that was cooked perfectly. This is my second time visiting A Praca and I finally got to write this review. The first time was with colleagues and I was amazed at the variety of the entrees and how the entire party enjoyed the food. I remember we ordered the vegetable Tempura, a couple of burgers, steak and Octopus (which we will get to in a moment) For this visit, it was the Raw Salmon Ceviche & Grilled Goat Cheese for snacks. Both were excellent. A nice contrast of light and rich with both having intense flavors. For the main courses it was Mushrooms Tagliatelle and Spinach and Ricotta ravioli which were both enjoyed. And now we get to the star entree which in my opinion is a must try. Praca Octopus is a dish that is exquisite. Sautéed in extra virgin olive oil...so simple and yet so complex. My second time having it and it is as good as the first time. A dish that I will have every time I visit Lisbon. Please don't stop making your Octopus A Praca! Great vibe for both inside and outside seating with a friendly staff. Such a diverse menu and somehow they get it all right! read more

Nice open restaurant at LX. Huge menu with lots to chose from. Sangria was delicious as was the crispy Vinho Verde. Got a Portugal Burger which comes without a bun. Includes cheese, olives, and a fried egg. Delicious! Also fun to people watch as they walk by and explore LX. Cool part of town! read more

Good. Not great. Service was good. They were able to seat us on a Saturday night even though we didn't have a reservation. Prices were reasonable. Good quality wasn't so great. I got their 14 euro Praça steak and it was not chewable. I asked for it medium done and it was very very raw - not medium done. Although, the steak wasn't the best, their fries were incredible. They weren't soft like fries or hard like potato chips but rather an in between softness. My friend got a pasta and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Conveniently located in the heart of LX factory. 7/10 would recommend. read more

My friend looked this place up and took me on our first trip to Portugal. We ordered a white sangria to share and it was amazing! And then I ordered a Praça burger, which was just right in terms of moisture and taste. The service was also nice. I don't know how else to describe my meal there other than it was great. read more

A praca? More like kaka on the placa. If you know how to buy some tired old groceries and throw them in the microwave, you would do a better job than this place. The octopus carpaccio looks like got some frozen squid and ran it over with a Mac truck. The salads are more uninspired than the service. Oh, and don't get me started on the eggplant which probably got unfrozen and thrown in the microwave two minutes after the order. Literally the worst restaurant you can pick in this area. What a delight (again) to come back and enjoy this restaurant. It's in the trendy LX complex in Alcantara, right under the bridge. Lots of stores to visit as well. A bit touristy now as word got out but still worth it. The food was delicious. Order a Spinach/Ricotta gnocchi and it was delicious with home made gnocchi. Light and flavorful without being heavy. Great, fresh food and wonderful service. My family shared multiple tapas, and while different, it was very good. Overall, our favorite was the octopus. The Raw Salmon Ceviche was average, but still good. The fruit and vegetables are extremely fresh, and are placed on display in the restaurant which was very reassuring. Ventured here on a Monday night looking for a good meal within LX Factory. This restaurant had been recommended to us by a friend, so we checked out the menu and it looked good so we sat down. There was no wait and the hostess was friendly. When our server came over, she was really friendly but there was a language barrier so they sent someone else over. I can't say the rest of our experience was very friendly at all. The server we ended up with seemed annoyed by us the entire time, seemingly because we were American, but we can't know for sure. The food was good, we enjoyed an octopus appetizer and I enjoyed the carbonara dish. My friends got steak and said it was good but not special. Unfortunately due to feeling the staff didn't like us, the experience was a bit marred. read more

This bar restaurant located at the lx factory in Lisbon was a pleasant surprise. Indicated by a great friend who lives in Lisbon. The service is excellent. They are polite, very friendly and fun. We ordered 2 starters: the fresh mushrooms sauteed in butter and whiskey which were delicious and "peixinhos da horta com Maionese de alho" (waiter's suggestion) - a kind of tempura of green beans served with a garlic mayonnaise. For the main course I ordered the duck bundle wrapped with a filo pastry that was crispy, juicy, and very tempered with sweet potatoes. Other dishes ordered were the coucous moroccan with salmon and pork with green beans. All dishes well served and delicious. For dessert we ordered the lemon mousse and brownie. We run into this as all the other places were crowded. We did wait good 20 minutes to be seated and it took a while before we got served but the food was really really good. I asked for blue rare steak ("the one that is still running around the kitchen") and I got it exactly as ordered. It was a bit smallish though but with the home made potato chips it was more than enough. We had some local beer (Sagres, dark one, as light is awful) and home made juice. Family had burgers and were more than satisfied too. A full recommendation for the place, just have A LOT of patience as service is slow. They are super nice, though. Restaurant is a bit pricey but we did't mind that one bit. read more

Just great! Let's start with the fact that LX Factory (restaurant is inside the complex) already has a certain bohemian charm to it. Da Praca just adds to that charm and the food is great. We had steak (grilled to order; perfectly medium/rare with a beer sauce), octopus (nice modern twist), burger (superb) and loin pork (but dry-could have been better). Starters fantastic (goats cheese and salad - eggplant). Nice wine list - reasonably priced. Best part: as the family go shopping I get to lounge outside and see the world pass by on the comfiest leather sofa. Rolling! read more

The food was disappointing and i waited 45 minutes for my main course because they forgot to give my order to the kitchen. They didn't take my drink or appetizer off of my check. But finally we ended up there because it was more crowded (crowd=appealing=better value for money? I guess) anyway the place turned out to be super noisy, the food is totally tasteless (hello microwave ?) and its rather pricey for what you get..
