Lowell gets a bad rep in Mass for being unkind to out of towners but with the amazing service I got, I thought I was in Newton, Westin or some place fancy. I was in a minor fender bender the day before and stopped in to ask if they could do a quick visual on my car. I met with Stephen, the owner and he was so kind and generous to help me out. He said my car looked fine from the accident but expressed genuine concern for my tires. (Oops) Specifically I was at risk for getting in an accident due to there being virtually no more treads. Then he casually mentioned (without judgment! Stephen was so kind!!) that my car inspection was expired. (Oops oops). Super understanding he said he could inspect my car but that I would need to get new tires before I undergo the inspection. He was unable to do the work himself, but directed me where to go and even called the place to let them know I was coming. But wait, there's more! He was only opened until 2pm on a Saturday and said he would still be around at his shop until 5pm if my tires took longer and I couldn't make it for 2pm. I showed up at 2:45pm (without calling Oops ooops ooops) and as a man of his words, he was there, and inspected my car! Stephen was so kind and while I waited he chatted with me and talked about his love for animals. You can tell he genuinely wants to get to know his customers and is committed to fostering a relationship. What an incredible guy. I'm so grateful and indebted to his services!

I have to admit I tried going to cheap route at first with a family recommended mechanic who does…read morework for cheap. I was getting a Motor swap done. Aka a BIG JOB done. The cheap route ended up being HELL ON EARTH for me because it took 3 months for the job to be completed, only for the wrong motor to be installed twice. After three months of the job not getting done correctly, they tried giving me the car back saying it was fine and sent me ob my way to my possible death. I knew it wasn't fine. I bought it to Mechanics Direct so the could do a full inspection to see where the amateurs messed up. Come to find out they installed the wrong motor and the tire rod was about to fall off. The amateur mechanics refused to give a refund until I threatened them with a lawsuit. I knew about mechanics direct because I lived in the area and have always been hesitant because I knew they were expensive. I was at a point with my car though where I did not care about the cost I just wanted my car back after being away from it for multiple months. I could not be happier with the result. Mechanics Direct's professionalism have made me a life long costumer. Not only did my car get the motor swap done in less than a week, they paid for me to use a rental for the week. They discovered that the noise the other mechanic told me to not worry about was a tire rod that was loose too! My wheel could have fallen off if I didn't go to these guys. I went insane with my last mechanic and mechanics direct brought me peace of mind. You can't put a price tag on peace of mind. My car drives better than ever before. I am a satisfied customer knowing my family and I are safe in the road. Yes the cost is more expensive, but you get what you pay for, and that's PROFESSIONAL SERVICE and PEACE OF MIND. Don't make my mistake by trying to go the cheap route. It will cost you way MUCH, MUCH MORE in the long run.
