I got out of the car, brought Rusty with me, and all I had to do was see the smile on Lizz'a face when she saw Rusty and I. Everything melted away. She took Rusty and I in the back where he smelled EVERYTHING. Lizz could tell I was relieved of any tenacious nerves that I had. We stayed in the back yard and her husband brought out their dog, Zajka. She was so great to my Rusty! I've never ever felt more comfortable and connected with dog people before.
