I've been with the Crazy team since my dog was a new puppy. Before the daycare opened, they came and walked my dog while I was at work. Running late, I called on occassion to see if they could go by a second time and they helped. My dog went through the obedience training with Tony and he was great to work with. Oakley goes to the daycare every week since it's been open and it's been so great. I dont have to worry about racing home, he is well adapted to other dogs, and I know he is having fun. Tony came to our home for obedience training in July 2013. After 6 weeks with our little girl, beagle chihuahua mix, Stella, we had learned a great deal about ourselves as dog owners, and about our little girl as a puppy. He has since come to walk Stella for us 3x/week and twice a day. Stella LOVES Tony and is such a happy girl when we get home each day. He has also come to our rescue on several occasions when we needed someone to care for her on a long day away and in an emergency situation. My previous dog walker recommended Tony from Crazy Canines when she retired last year. Tony came to the house, very professional, met our dog, had us complete a questionnaire with emergency information and our Dog's habits, etc. He has insurance and showed us his certificate. Tony and his partners took care of our dog for a week. When we returned, there were daily logs of each walk, how he behaved, and any issues (there were none, other than being excited for visitors) Our Dog was happy and safe. OK, so I didn't trust my dog with ANYONE, until I was forced to find someone to watch her over a weekend. I'm a first time dog owner and needed to learn the ropes to keep up with my 6 month old lab. And so I signed up for evening training lessons after hearing awesome things about Tony. Tony took me from confused and overwhelmed to a poised and effective dog mama - So cool :). In only 6 weeks, Charlie (my lab) was biting less, listening to commands and obeying hand signs. I could not be happier with everything we learned. A few times my 12 year old son attended classes with me and that was so awesome because he could also got the chance to practice his commands with Tony. Patty and I brought our 8 month old boy Bentley to Tony because of the recommendation of our vet. Bentley would not listen to anything we said and would completely ignore us when we called him and at times just act crazy. We called Tony and left a message. Within hours he called me back. Tony spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with me and even gave me some things to try with Bentley that could help prior to his first lesson. I was amazed at how well these tips worked. The first time we meet Tony we knew we were in good hands. He is not just a trainer. He is a very personable guy. He knows dogs inside and out.He really gets you involved with the training. As he says , the training is more about training us rather than the dog. Things are not just black and white with Tony. All dogs are different with different personalities. he gives us options as to the results we area looking for. I like that, it makes me feel every bit a big part of Bentley's training. We have only had two lessons and already i am in awe of how Bentley has progressed. I can't imagine giving these wonderful people anything but five stars. Tony and Sara are always professional and it's obvious they love animals. Just as importantly, my animals adore them! I have two dogs and Sara visits them every day. I would trust that Sara would be on the lookout for my dogs best interest at every turn and have recommended her to many people. I was actually online because I wanted to send a link about their business to a friend. I stumbled on these reviews and was curious as to why they only got a four star rating. I can't say enough about these people! The individual who only gave them one star had never even used them! They asked questions that could conceivably make any business owner uncomfortable and every business owner does have the right to decide who they will work with. Been there and there were plenty of jobs I turned down. I emailed asking about dog walking services and got a reply that they are extremely limited on walkers. That's fine, I thought. I am more interested in the dog day care. I've left multiple emails and voicemails asking about setting up a meet and greet for the dog daycare as they advertise on their website, and never received a reply back either by email or phone. I really can not say enough positive things about Tony and Sarah. I had my new girl stuck up stairs for a long time. The vet was zero help. Can't proscribe sedatives till they meet the dog. Can't meet the dog till I get her down the stairs. The vet that does house calls just wouldn't get back to me. Benadryl under 200 mg did nothing. I can't carry her down without sedation as she wiggles and wines. Crates won't fit down the stairs. To top it off she 100 lbs. They showed up and without any issue got her right down in 10 minutes. Baby girl was all smiles and waggs. Had to fight the urge to bear hug both of them after. Beyond great people. As someone who worked servicing fish tanks at home I feel the need to respond to Susi S. Post We were accused on a regular basis of taking stuff. The good customers usually apologized and we got a fat tip when the missing item was found. Most of the time at the jewelers or the Summer home in the Hampton. The lousy ones said nothing but stopped hounding my boss. The crazy ones swore we returned it to make them look stupid. In our case this was the north shore of long island so some of the missing items were worth more than a years salary for us. If someone asks that beforehand it would set off alarm bells in any service provider. read more

Recently our dog was having an allergic reaction to something. I let Tony know what was going on and knowing he is not a vet but knows dogs, he talked me off the ledge and was extremely helpful. I have to add that he is also very flexible. Because of Bailey's little illness I had to swap days around for his care and Tony was more than obliging. I found this company by doing a google search for dog walkers in my area . Everything was going well until I asked them what happens if something goes missing in our home while we are not there hypothetically. I wanted to feel comfortable with who we were letting into our home before moving forward. Once I decided to move forward and hire them they told me that they coudln't help us because they felt that there was trust issues and he didn't feel like it would be a good business decision to move forward with us as a client! How can you judge someone for asking what happens in their home when there are strangers in there without them? How does asking that question make me seem like a person you couldn't trust? I would question people who didn't ask that question instead! I would say find another dog walker because it seems if you ask them too many questions they won't take you on as a client. I have used this company for over 6 years for twice daily dog walks as well as numerous overnights. Tony is not only great at what he does, his knowledge of dogs has helped me with training and other behavior issues. The most important thing to me was that he treated my dogs well over the years. On that front - if there were a million starts he would get them. My dogs all loved him. I know have 1 and she absolutely adores Tony. I have been home occasionally when he showed up and my dog wagging her whole body and running around all excited to see him is all I needed to know. Tony has never had anyone besides him in my house without asking me first and allowing me to meet them first. I am very comfortable leaving him and Sarah in my home. He has been more than flexible and really bends over backwards to be accomodating. If you want a professional that knows dogs and loves them as much as we do you really have to use Crazy Canines.
