Great daycare - they care for all of the dogs so much and keep the dogs separated into areas appropriate for their size and temperment.

Don't know what I'd do without CCS…read more We have an elderly cat and while I know many folks are fine to leave their cats alone for days it's just not good for any animal - cats included. Dawn, the new owner, is always responsive and caring and accommodating - including the few times I've needed a last minute sitter. All the sitters are clearly animal enthusiasts and animal experienced and I feel so much more at ease knowing someone is checking on my cat while we're out of town. CCS does appear to be under new management with Dawn since some of the lower reviews nearly ten years ago. Yes, they charge for their services but you get what you pay for - a bonded and insured pet sitting company ensuring the safety and well being of a member of your family with the skills to handle special diets, medication, needs, etc. Peace of mind is priceless. The sitter comes by for a consult beforehand to meet you and your pet and learn where food is, answer/ask questions, etc. They'll send photos or just general updates if you like during their visits too.

Like some other reviewers, i have mixed feelings on this place. I used them on 2 different…read moreoccasions and the service my pets received was pretty good. There was one day when my roommate called me to let me know that she got home to find my 2 cats without any water. this meant that the sitter (who isnt with them anymore) had not filled either of 2 dishes. of course i was very unhappy and texted the sitter right away and she apologized sincerely and it didnt happen again. but i cringe to think what if the roomie hadnt come home as soon. That was such a big thing to overlook, i mean water is a very basic thing to be doing when you come in to pet sit. also, they are too expensive. besides the normal rates, they charge $20 consult fee to have the sitter come in and meet you/the pets and go over care. i was told this visit was not necessary. hmmm. well, im not leaving for vacation and just assuming a stranger will come to my house and find the food/supplies and that my pets will come out and not be afraid. i consider the consult pretty necessary. and the fee is for each consult, meaning if a sitter is no longer with them or not available and a new sitter will be coming, theres another fee. and they charge $5.50 to send back your keys.

A very long overdue update & review, but better late than never!…read more After planning a trip out of the country, my "dog sitter" backed out at the last minute. And who to the rescue?! Rich and Marissa! Sadly, there is not an overnight option. However, I was gone for 6 days, and as promised, they were there early in the morning, again in the afternoon, and yet AGAIN late night to take care of my pup. When I say "take care", I don't mean it lightly! I came home to a diary of visit entries FROM EVERY VISIT--for SIX DAYS! Clearly, the proof was in the pudding as their visits were more than just a quick walk--but love, affection, play time, and attention. MY NEIGHBORS--even those I've never met, stopped me when I came home to say how happy my dog was when outside with Rich and Marissa, big smiles, tail wagging, etc. They all attested to the dedication of time put in by Paw Pals & how fantastic they were with my Naija. And, in each documentation, they were honest & sincere, and you could tell how much they love what they do each and every minute. I never once felt as though this was a burden or tribulation for them. True professionals--and good good people. I came home to the happiest I've seen my pup since I've had her! Not one ounce of resentment that I was gone! Also, I should mention--I have a special needs (three-legged) pit-bull, who suffers from the myriad of stereotypes! Boy did Paw Pals prove each one wrong! Their expertise in ALL breeds & "thinking out of the box" with my special needs pup shone through day in and day out while I was gone. Vitamins, food, appropriate exercise and down time was documented by both them AND the nosey nellies in my neighborhood. I can't praise them enough. I can't hire them enough. I can't appreciate them enough! This is the real deal--l couldn't take care of Naija better myself! I can't wait for their next visit! Keep your calendar open! Naija is anxiously waiting!!

This is…read morewhere our dog almost died - he was attacked by another dog and required surgical wound repair and rabies shot leading to an expensive vet bill. We discovered the wound in the car 5 minutes after picking him up at 6pm. The owner of daycare took full advantage of this and denied that it happened there and refused to provide a video or the name of another dog he supposedly played with in the morning (video was deleted). We were told that our dog was "sleeping in the corner" all afternoon after playing with the other dog, which would be completely out of character indicating that he was injured in the morning and was left to suffer until 6pm. Animal Control got involved and discovered that only one person was watching 25 dogs that day and ordered to reduce the number of dogs to 15. If a daycare is unable to notice such a serious injury, to identify a dog in distress for hours or to cooperate and take responsibility for any incidents that may occur, then it is either incompetence, negligence and/or animal cruelty - take your pick. No dog is safe at this daycare.
