My good buddy from work very graciously shared with me her secret "eyeliner" tattoo aka, permanent eye makeup ... as the professional woman's way to combat the frustration of having my reapply makeup mid afternoon at the ladies room for all to see. Now I don't have to buy a new MAC fluid liner every month! Cathy is just wonderful calming person! She's sole proprietor, so don't expect a medical receptionist to answer your call, but a personal call back to discuss what you want. The fact that she's usually booked out at least 1 month in advance was at first disappointing, but as soon as you're in her hands, you know why she's booked up! She's really good with dealing with anxious nerves and her skills cannot be beat. I've had my eyeliner tattoo done before in Los Gatos at a doctor's office, by a RN, and I came in with previous baggage ... afraid of the tattoo pen, as the nurse who did my eyeliner had an extremely heavy hand = painful pricks on my eyelids, serious regret. I was so nervous ... or more like a nervous wreck, but Cathy was excellent in talking through the situation, she has all sorts of methods to get you comfortable, heated bed, knee rests, soothing music, and she tells great stories. As soon as her pen touched my eye, I was extremely shocked at how feather light her touch was. I couldn't believe how dramatically different my experience was. It was like a tickley buzz rather than piercing pricks. Not only was the experience not painful, on the second time, I actually fell asleep while she was making her touch-up passes on my lid. Cathy did my eyeliner 15+ yrs. ago...Yes, it lasted well & only a few small spots I need retouching these many years later! She's all they say about her, precise, personable & excellent at her craft. My only complaint is how hard she is to get ahold of. No contact email on her site, no texting to her number & if she's with a client, she doesn't answer her phone (considering she's booked up to 3 mo in advance, it's a challenge. This is the best place for getting permanent makeup. I have been to a couple other places prior to this and had terrible painful experiences in the past. Cathy, on the other hand, is very experienced and competent. I had the permanent eyeliners and eyebrows done by her and they were not painful nor did not make my eyes tear. The woman from the previous place I went to, Permanent Cosmetiques in San Carlos, said my eyes were too sensitive, that was why my eyes tear so much. Cathy proved it wrong. It's the combination of technique, experience and competency that Cathy possesses make the procedure painless. Cathy is extremely patient and professional. Lets keep in mind that I previously did not wear eyeliner due to the fact that I have severe allergies and constantly rub my eyes. Also, the plain fact that I just don't have time in the morning to put it on and too lazy at night to take it off. I was always jealous of the women who looked gorgeous with eyeliner, but a tattoo - it would hurt!. I have many friends that have gone to Cathy whether it be for eyeliner, eyebrows or lip liner. I've spent most of my teenage years looking for the perfect eyeliner. I'm now 40 and found it with A Perfect line Permanent Cosmetics! With eyeliners my eyes watered and were always red. While it may take a few months to get scheduled w/ Cathy, it is 100% worth the wait!!! Cathy was the final person on my "Dream Team" in my decision to avoid a breast cancer diagnosis. After two surgeries involving a prophylactic double mastectomy with diep flap reconstruction, the last step in the process is nipple tattooing.
