I did wish my esthetician talked through what they were doing, since some steps were new to me, like the zap-sounding tool, the light (?) mask where they left the room for aand the hot stone rub. I also loved the cool face mask brushed on over a net-like layer and the pressure around my temples. I would have appreciated a bit more neck-focused massage. After the facial, my hair was pretty messy and oily, and my nose was a little red. The next day, one extraction spot was still red. All of that is normal and temporary. Parking was easy, and I found a spot right in front. I also appreciated the candies by the checkout area. She even did my eyebrows, which was a really nice surprise. If you have dry skin, I would definitely recommend the oxygen facial.

I was lucky to get an appt that worked with my travel schedule exactly 1 month in advance, but the selections were pretty limited so would definitely recommend scheduling an appt more than 1 month in advance. Vicky sent reminder emails and online waiver forms to sign before the appt, which made things way more efficient during the actual appt. The studio is super clean and well lit, and man the chair is so comfy, I fell asleep during both my first session and touch up session LOL. Vicky is professional and very sweet, striking the perfect balance between providing information about the process and making clients feel comfortable. My healed eyebrows after the first session were pretty faded around the edges, so during my touch up session Vicky adjusted my aftercare instructions, and they healed perfectly!! She clearly knows what she's doing and that everyone's eyebrows heal differently. Compared to a lot of eyebrow artists, Vicky's pricing is super reasonable, but in this economy you'll definitely want to make an appt before it goes up. There is free parking behind the building, and she even provides instructions to find the parking lot. She also offered me the option to reschedule my touch up session if I wasn't comfortable driving in stormy weather (this was when the Bay Area was getting battered and flooded by back to back storms), and I was so touched by her thoughtfulness. It is so upsetting. I asked for natural and while a slightly lifted look was an upside, she shaved my eyebrow and then stenciled on me a brow that goes against my hair growth. How is that natural? I look horrible. All I wanted was natural little hairs. do not go here. It's so upsetting. My impression and direction was always that this would have been precise hair strokes, not a stenciled tattoo which is completely fake looking. Never was it explained to me that this was how it would be executed and by the time she started it was too late. There was no discussion or approval.
