Vienna did an amazing job on my lashes! I found her through Groupon for the natural light set but decided to upgrade to the 2D lashes. Process was super easy I called in to schedule an appointment and Vienna sent me a reminder text a week before. The eyelash place is this little boutique in the Sala Saloon and you would need someone to help open the door for you. The place was super clean and I felt super comfortable with Vienna working on my lashes. She took about 45 minutes working on my lashes and it turned out amazing! Also please ignore my eyebrows in my photo hahahah I have yet to get those done. read more

Teresa is very professional, knowledgeable, and honest with her business. I highly recommend her if you're looking into eyeliner tattoos and want to learn more to see if it's the right decision for you. I have not yet received the service, I will update this review when I do. But I want to share my experience with Teresa for the consultation service. I reached out to a few eyeliner tattoo services in the Bay Area, some charged just for a 15-minute consultation, and some did not spend the time to answer my questions (this is a PERMANENT decision! I do not want to make the decision lightly and just pressured me to make an appointment and put down a deposit. However, Teresa scheduled a free 30-minute consultation with me in which she answered all my questions. At no point did she pressure me to make an appointment just so she could charge me for her service. It was obvious she cared a lot and wanted me to make a decision that I would be happy with in the years to come. For example, when I asked for a more prominent outer line, she explained to me how it would translate as I get older and how it may look more unnatural at different angles. I was so glad I made this consultation with her because I learned a lot about permanent eyeliner tattoos and what to consider. Seeing the tattoo she has on herself and how it fades in the long term (she's had it for 7-8 years I think?) it was super informative as well. It fades a bit in color but in a natural way that blends in with your lash line, and it made me want to get the tattoo as long as it's done by someone who knows what they're doing! If you're considering getting an eyeliner tattoo but you're not sure if it's right for you, make a consultation with Teresa! I first came to Teresa last December for microblading, then again this summer for a touch up. I've gotten my brows done twice while I was abroad, but they've partially faded by then and I wanted to redo them. I was worried that having my brows redone while there was still a bit of color left would make them look weird or too dark and expressed this to Teresa, but she was very reassuring and went in with a lighter shade at first to make sure that it was okay before going any darker. The color kept really well the first time and definitely could've lasted longer, but I went in for a scheduled touch up anyways. Teresa did great job with my eyelash extensions. I'm used to take care of the extensions but usually they come off so quickly - this time they lasted very well. Keeping them clean, brush them in the morning/evening helped to keep them last. The picture is from the first time, the second time, she adjusted the left eye side(left eye is smaller) so my eyes look even. I love how they look and definitely recommend her to anyone! read more

I went to do the eye lashes right before my bachelorette trip on 3.17th. The next day woke up in the morning I found so many lashes on my bed sheet and pillows. My right side eyelashes has fallen like 1/3 of it. So I asked for refill the next day. She refilled it but with different lashes than it originally was. I didn't know until afterwards. And literally 3 days after, most of my eyelashes are fallen! Super disappointed. This is the worst eyelashes extensions I have ever had! It's definitely not worth $160! read more

After researching several places, I found this little gem which is owned by Teresa. I have been going there for the last 2 years and I am really happy and greatful that I did. Teresa is very meticulate with her work. She listened to my preference rather than telling me how it should be done. During the process of eyeshading and eyeliners, Teresa applied numb cream so I felt really comfortable. Her prices are fair and her environment is calm with waterfall music. I had my touch up done just last week even though I could go without but I wanted a little extra touch for my birthday celebration. Not having to put on eye make up every day is priceless. A VERY LONG, OVERDUE REVIEW! I was very skeptical of getting my lashes done in the first place. For an Asian girl like me, my lashes are pretty long and healthy. However, I wanted a little bit more volume without the hassle of applying falsies. I ran into Teresa's yelp page and contacted her. She scheduled me in and explained to me what lashes I want and the style. The first style I did looked amazing, however it didn't fit my taste. So on my next visit, I had asked for shorter lashes and they came out to be amazing! Keep in mind that what you think would look good always may come out different on your type of eyes! It takes time to find out what fits your eye shape as well! Doesn't hurt to play around! I've been seeing Teresa ever since. (I believe this is my fifth session and I go every two weeks for fills). She's the only person I go to. I am very happy I choose her! She's very patience and the price is great for her work. If you're like me and can't fall asleep in these types of session, don't worry. Teresa is very patience! My eyes move around a lot and is very sensitive and none the less, she's able to work with it. She tries to make me fall asleep to the music, but sometimes I can't, and sometimes I do for a short while. However, my eyes still move around a lot and Teresa is able to pull it off! I actually forgot what lashes I have on. I believe they're the 3-D Japanese Mink ones. They're very light and sometimes I forget I have lash extensions on. They are very comfortable! Post Op Care: 1. Every morning and evening, saturate cotton pad with bottled water. Squeeze all the water out and lightly pat cotton pad onto brows. 2. Every morning and night, put a little bit of the gel given by Teresa onto cotton swab and lightly brush onto brows. 3. Repeat Step 1 & 2 for 4 days ***You can't get your brows wet for 7 days.*** Tips: -Wash your hair at the salon instead of at home. She designed brows that naturally fits face shape. The entire process was not painful at all. My brows got complements from people for the eyebrow shape. Teresa did a wonderful job on my brows! My eyebrows were tattooed in 2018 and they faded over time so I was looking for someone who could make them look fresh again. I found Teresa on Yelp and after reading many of her 5 star reviews I decided to make an appointment. Scheduling was very easy and the process was seamless. Teresa recommended microshading since I wanted the look to be natural. I'm glad I went through with her recommendation and I love the way they look. After care - it's best not to wet your brows 7 days after the procedure so I used micellar water to cleanse the other parts of my face. Teresa did such a fantastic job on correcting my uneven and sparse eyebrows. I had previously tattooed my brows over 20 years ago and she was so skillful in covering them up and creating a new, softly defined shape. Teresa also did an amazing winged eyeliner. I LOVE MY LASHES! I've been going to Vienna for my eyelash extensions for months now. She is professional, gentle, knowledgeable, friendly, and consistent. I was very nervous in the beginning because I've never done it before and I was afraid it'll be painful but in fact, Teresa did a great job in explaining the whole process which I felt less nervous afterall and it was nearly no pain at all. Update! My brows are great. One minor thing, which isn't bad, was that my brows were uneven when I left my second appointment. Doing a tattoo isn't perfect it totally happens. I'm still giving the full 5-stars because the correction process was easy. I simply texted Theresa and told her. She said to wait it out for 6 weeks to fully heal and go from there. 6 weeks later I go on vacation get swamped with work and did not get the chance to text her. She followed up with me to check on me! I told her it still see it uneven and I just went in and got it fixed. Don't be scared to let her know it isn't right after the second appointment! She is only human and even I didn't catch it right after because of the swelling. She fixed it free of charge, because she stands by her work. I am the person with brows that would disappear in the sun. But with these they look so naturally there! They are like powdered and then lined in the front to create a subtle fade. A lot of people really thought these were naturally too! read more

I really wanted to be a repeat customer. I liked the longevity and style. Maybe she had an off day the last time I went, but multiple eyelashes were not correctly isolated which resulted in many of the extensions not being able to fall off when a natural eyelash fell (should be 1:1 to allow for natural shedding). Because the extension was improperly glued to 2+ of my real lashes, they would just dangle in weird positions when 1 of the real lashes shed, and pull on my lash line so I ended up having to use scissors to cut the extension from my real eyelash (that was still attached) to try to avoid pulling another one out from the root. read more

It saves me a ton of time every morning, and looks really natural. I'm obsessed with my "new" brows, and would recommend Teresa to anyone without hesitation. I found Teresa after reading her many Yelp reviews, and decided to take a chance. She exceeded my expectations. Based on my feedback (I wanted a soft, natural look), she suggested using Korean style micro shading. She worked with me to decide on shaping. The entire process took about 90 minutes. While it's not an entirely painless process, I would say it's at worst mild discomfort (that is 100% worth it)! love my lashes! i got my first set of lashes and a fill 3 weeks later and teresa did not disappoint! i asked for natural/wispy lashes and she was able to cater the lashes to my eyes. scheduling was straightforward and she creates a relaxing space when youre there. she explains aftercare for the lashes- for me i found brushing the lashes 2x a day as well as cleaning them with water and a gentle face cleanser helped them to retain longer (even after 3 weeks, about 70% of my lashes stayed on!) read more

I came here after years of being too scared to get my eyelashes done again because the place I had been to before poked my eyeball... but I'm so happy I did! I was able to get an appointment with Vienna and she was amazing! She is very gentle and thorough. The whole time I was very comfortable and honestly never even felt the tools up against my eye to be frightened from my experience before. I've been to a lot of lash places over the years and was hesitant to change my lash person when I moved. I found this place on Yelp and decided to try it out because prices were decent for the area and she had availability for a last minute appointment. And I'm so glad I did! She is amazing! Not only is she great at the application of lashes, but she's really good about working with you to make sure you get what you want. She was great at explaining the difference of the curls, styles, and lengths of the lashes (which is good for someone as indecisive as me) and explaining what she planned to do so I could lay on the table with ease. I've been experimenting with lengths, curls, and thickness (still trying to figure out my ideal look!) and she was so patient with me while offering her own advice and expertise as to what would look good on my eye shape. She also cares about taking care of your lashes long term to make sure they stay healthy and strong. At my last appointment, I tried a different length and when I got off the table it was longer than I thought it was going to be and she was so flexible with me that she offered to make adjustments to them and even took note of what that shape/length adjustment was so that the next time I came in she knew what I would want. I decided to get eyebrow tattoos since WFH situation made me lazier and lazier to do makeup. was going to get microblading but decided on 6D microshading after consultation with Teresa. She carefully designed the ideal shape of my eyebrows until I became satisfied. The process of actual tattoo was smooth and not painful at all. I sneezed a couple of times because it was a bit itchy. To start, I must point out that it is very rare for me to give out reviews. Having said that, I believe Teresa deserves this more than anything due to how comfortable and fast her procedure went. I came to her to get my eyelashes done for my graduation ceremony the following week. I was nervous, as it was my first time getting extensions, and I was scared that my eyelashes were going to look unnatural and unpleasant on the eye. After my procedure, my worries went away instantly and I received a ton of compliments from my peers and friends. They didn't even know I had extensions on until I mentioned it! I found Teresa on Yelp after I found out how much cheaper it is than a different brow studio. After reading the highly rated reviews, I decided to give it a try. I had micro-shading done and Teresa was very patient and communicative throughout the whole process. I love my new brows! They are very natural and nicely shaped. Afterwards both my mom and I decided to try out eyelash extensions for the first time. It was a painless and relaxing process and I fell asleep a couple of times! We love the natural look of the soft mink lashes and are very happy with the results. I definitely recommend these two services. One year after getting my eyebrows Microbladed and they're looking great :) The first pic is from late May 2021 after the first session, which was a breeze. I got my eyebrows waxed a few weeks before and winded up with an infection that led to a lot of hairs falling out. I was apprehensive to getting them Microblade's due to the possibility of another infection, buuut I had an event coming up and decided to go for it. I am so glad that I did and have NO regrets whatsoever. She took proper sanitary measures and checked on my pain level through the process. They started out a bit dark but healed and lightened up to a natural shade quickly! The second pic was taken 2 weeks ago, or a year later, and I am soooo pleased. Only you beauty is my favorite studio to do the eyebrow microblading in San Mateo! I did mine 3 years ago and they are still pretty good. I feel like they might last for another 1 or 2 years. This time I took my husband to do the microblading for him. He refused to come at the beginning. He started to change his mind after he saw my microblading eyebrows lasted for more than 3 years. And the most important thing is that they look like real hairs. Here he comes. Most of our friends didn't even tell that he has done the eyebrows. He is really satisfied and happy! And it is really easy to maintain and shave his original eyebrows based on the microblading. Highly recommend! read more

I have to admit, I did hesitate before posting up this review because I feel intimidated by her due to her lack of acceptance to criticisms. However, I felt I should leave a review to warn others from having the same unfortunate experience as I did. I do not recommend anyone to come here to get their brows done. Prior to coming here, I saw some reviews about how she does not make your brows even. Despite this, I decided to give her a try and she ruined my brows. After coming here, my brows start growing unevenly. One brow is up and one brow is down. When you point it out to her, she will claim that your brows already grow like that. Girl, I know how my brows are like before coming here. I went back to my original eyebrow salon even though it's farther away from where I moved to and my OG brow lady agreed that she definitely messed up my brows. Do not come here. She is unable to create even brows and if you have natural brows like me, she will ruin your entire brows with her lack of skills. read more

She worked with me to choose the ideal shape by first sitting with me at a mirror while she colored in my eyebrows with a pencil before starting, and then 30 minutes later: VOILA!! The color looks natural and is subtle, but highly effective. I absolutely LOVE it. Gone are the days (seriously, collectively hours of my life) staring in the mirror trying to get the right shape and color right. Because I liked the results of the eyebrows so much, I asked Anna if the eyeliner would work with my fair skin. She reassured it would so I scheduled the appointment and have the same results: natural looking eyeliner on my top lid that is subtle but very effective. Again, I absolutely love it. Anna is fantastic to work with and the staff are equally friendly, helpful and professional. For anyone fair skinned who has been curious but hesitant about semi-permanent eyebrow or eyeliner, I highly recommend that you wait no more. Anna is the person to go see. It's worth it.

I had been doing some research online (as well as on yelp) and I finally narrowed down choices to Fanny's. I checked out her convenient web page at www.fannyskincare.com and review her artwork (there are pictures!!) and also her prices are pretty reasonable. So, my mom and I went into Fanny's one day and asked about how permanent eyebrow works and Fanny was really nice to us the whole time! She explained the process, showed us before-and-after pictures, and also gave me a take-home gel to apply to my brows. The process was painless (well..more like it felt like tweezing your own eyebrows the whole time)..because Fanny applied a numbing cream and she was off to work. I'm not so sure how much permanent eyeliner will hurt....I'm thinking about getting it. Fanny is super friendly and immediately went to work right after I filled out a form with my information and signed. I didn't even make an appointment, but Fanny did not mind. You also get TWO free touch-ups and you have to use them within one year after the date you get your eyebrows done. Fanny also does facials, waxing, mole removals, and other services...I have not tried them yet...but will give her facials a shot one day. I highly recommend Fanny! =D

She is clean and uses quality products that do not fade to unnatural colors over time such as blue and green- instead they fade to brown. She has a steady hand and is an excellent artist with the natural ability to tattoo very thin straight lines and because she is a makeup artist she knows what looks good on each person's face type. She will start off conservatively at first in terms of thickness, color, etc as she knows that it is permanent and she wants her clients to be happy in the long run. I have always appreciated this about her. Anyone who thinks that permanent makeup is a one stop process needs to understand that it is not the case- there are touch ups involved. Fanny has always had a warm and welcoming personality and she aims to please her clients. She offers her professional opinion and will work with you on the exact shape you want, etc. by drawing it out. I have brought her photos to show her how I wanted my eyeliner drawn and she was able to work with that. For those of you who are worried about pain, she will put a topical anesthetic on the area to lessen your sensitivity. She works fast and you will be in and out in no time and will be so impressed with her work that you will not be thinking about pain. I highly recommend that if you are considering permanent makeup you go only to Fanny because even though other places may be cheaper, you get what you pay for in terms of skill level and product. I had been to another person who had done a terrible job on my eyebrows and Fanny was able to fix them and make them look beautiful- thank God. Your face is not something you want to mess with or be cheap about and her prices are reasonable and she is worth every penny. BTW, I work as a Buyer so if I endorse a person/product, it better be LEGIT!
