So I am normally not a "review writer" however, I cannot possibly go without praising this company, especially Mario, for helping to make my wedding the absolute dream come true that it was! Where do i even begin?? We used A Perfect Blend Entertainment for our wedding on June 23, 2013 at Westbury Manor and we were so lucky to have Mario as our DJ! There was not an empty spot on the dance floor all night - it was an absolute blast. First of all, let me say, we originally had planned our wedding for March 23rd, 2013, however due to an unexpected health issue, we had to push it back. When we informed Mario of the new date he was completely understanding - and to top it off, June 23rd was his 30th Birthday!!!! We were so greatful that he was so willing to put our wedding first. Such a great guy. We met with Mario twice before the wedding and were so excited about all the customization options he had to offer. My husband and I really wanted our wedding to reflect us as much as possible and Mario made that a reality to the Nth degree!! He was extremely attentive to our needs especially when we had so much more on our plate with an ill family member during the wedding planning. He really made the whole process so easy and it was smooth sailing up until the moment we left the venue on June 23 as husband and wife! One of our favorite parts of the reception was when Mario personalized our entrance. Instead of the typical "let's welcome for the first time, Mr & Mrs So-and-So to the dance floor" he gave a brief overview of our 6 year relationship and how we ended up husband and wife. WE LOVED IT!! it really told our story (some of which is quite funny) and our guests are still raving about it because many didnt know how we met, our first date, how he proposed, etc. Mario truly has a nack for reading the crowd. As soon as he saw that he was losing people from the dance floor, he did a quick but smooth music change and kept the party going all night! it was so refreshing to see all of our loved ones rocking it out (even those not known for their love of dancing!) For anyone planning a wedding, sweet 16, bar/bat mitzvah, go with A Perfect Blend Entertainment and request Mario!! you will be rest assured that everything will go smoothly and he even coordinates with your other venders so you are never bothered or kept from enjoying your special day!! Having good music at my husband and I's wedding was definitely one of the most important things on the list of vendors to book first. We actually didn't even know where to start and used anything to search from Google to The Knot and more (honestly this is how we got lucky with most vendors lol). While there were others already booked for our date, we're luckily A Perfect Blend Entertainment was available! Their response time to our inquiry was quick and we were quoted costs that happily fit within our budget. We ended up going with Nick as our DJ as there were good things said about him. And he did not disappoint! We talked through phone to get a vibe from him and how things work. Laid back but professional, his personality matched ours very well. Then we found out about the Portal that was the biggest relief off of our shoulders. No huge list of music to write down where it can feel very overwhelming. The system was so easy and organized. Was actually very fun to use and the website actually had a list of popular songs other weddings put in theirs. We talked about the day and what was expected days before our wedding. It couldn't have gone more perfect. Even having to postpone twice due to Covid, he was very accommodating. He truly goes by what you want while recommending what's best and advises along the way. It even rained a little during our ceremony and everything still went smoothly. All of our guests loved all the songs played and were happy that Nick even got to play requested ones. Working with A Perfect Blend Entertainment for our wedding reception was absolutely amazing! We had an initial call with them to discuss music preferences & they suggested Paul Nieto for our event. And we are SO happy they did. Paul was such an amazing, detailed and fun DJ to work with. He was so easy to work with and knew exactly what he was doing. Because of that, music/DJ was the least of our worries during planning because we knew we were in good hands. ABP has a great online system to map out every music detail of the day which we really appreciated. We documented our timeline, what music we wanted to be played & when - then Paul took it from there. He totally stuck to our requests and everything ran so smoothly. We literally danced all night - it was so much fun! Paul not only is great at what he does, but he was also a trooper - we had endured a lot of rain prior to the wedding, so our lawn was not in the best condition where he was set up. He didn't complain or seemed to mind at all which really meant a lot to us because we were already feeling stressed about it. I cannot recommend ABP, and specifically Paul, enough! Dave was absolutely outstanding!! Our guests are still commenting on how great our DJ was weeks after our wedding... From the moment we met Dave he was extremely professional and accommodating!! He helped us through our planning process (which was very short... 2 months to be exact) and was wonderful about calming my nerves and assisting me with changing the timeline of my big day just DAYS before my wedding!! As for the music, he played everything my husband and I requested... as well as what our guests wanted to hear! He certainly knows how to read a crowd... and in addition to keeping everyone on the dance floor, he also knew how to personalize our day and make it special not just for us... but for everyone. David was recommended to us by our wedding planner, and from our initial meeting we were excited to have him for a DJ. He helped us figure out the timeline of the dances and dance sets which coordinated seamlessly with the seated dinner. He also gave us the courage to pick some unique songs for our special dances. He was supportive and we were so happy to have done them. David has great experience with weddings and it shows, ours was flawless! After we had people telling us it was such a fun wedding, and we owe David credit for that, he kept the dance floor lively. We worked with Dave during our wedding process - he was amazing!! There's nothing we would have done differently, and we're so happy we picked APB. Dave played all of our 'must-plays' and he kept the dance floor full all night long. So many of our guests mentioned that the 'DJ was amazing' and 'this DJ knows how to please a crowd'. Everyone was raving about the music. The photobooth we used from APB was also a big hit with guests - people immediately began lining up for it! Dave was the absolute BEST DJ to work with from start to finish for our wedding!! He is extremely professional, friendly, charismatic and very responsive. We spoke to Dave about ideas we had along the way and he was able to give us suggestions and make all of our ideas come together. We had requests for both top 40, old classic dance songs as well as Spanish music to incorporate both of our cultures. Our ceremony music was seamless and perfect, and our reception was such an amazing party because of Dave's dj'ing. Mario shared his DJ talent with us on 10/23/2021, and our wedding was so much fun! He got everything right- transitions from each event throughout the night, perfectly timed songs during the ceremony, and most of all everyone was on the dance floor! David more than exceeded our expectations. The music for the ceremony, entrances, party, and cake cutting were all perfect even with us not submitting our requests anywhere near on time.
