I've held off on writing this for a long time, but it's been weighing on me ever since. About a year ago, my mom had an experience at this nail salon that was not only hurtful but blatantly racist. She was told they "don't want to serve Black people," and I still can't believe this happened in our community. She's a white passing middle eastern woman, married to a black man and I am her black daughter. She ended up having a conversation with them and they just laughed it off... This kind of discrimination is unacceptable period. No one should ever be treated differently because of the color of their skin. I'm writing this now not just for my mom, but for anyone else who might walk into this place not knowing how they treat people. Businesses like this should be held accountable. read more

The woman who did my nails was super friendly and nice. My nail shape and length ended up being exactly as I wanted and were even. They stayed on for 3-4 weeks before I had to get them off because I was going camping. Great for the cost and super friendly service who took covid precautions seriously. read more

She took my nails off and charged me for having her take them off when I just wanted her to paint over them. She then asked if I wanted ombré and I said yes and proceeded not to give me ombré but charged me for it anyway. I will not be coming back. She proceeded to say that I got ombré when I didn't. I like this place. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done. $25 for a spa pedicure.. Relaxing, with orange scrub exfoliation and hot towel & hot stone message included.. Come here for a shellac (gel) manicure for $25 special. (See pic) I'm from nyc/nj and this is the best one I have ever got!! Can't beat it. I went there on 12/20 because my regular salon Diamond Nails was closed. Big mistake!! I had a man doing my nails that had a disgusting long yellow pointy fingernail that he kept using on my fingers instead of a tool. I asked for a dip and it was horrible. Club like thick bumpy nails. I was unable to call till 8 days later due to being gone for the holiday. On the 8th day I woke up to one of the nails being completely uncovered meaning the dip fell off in one piece. I called and talked to the owner and she was not willing to help in anyway. I would never recommend this nasty place. I need to wait to make a real Love you. Pretty good other than the fact that lady was using the drill and burned my finger as it was sore because I bite the skin around my fingers when I'm nervous. I pulled my hand back and said "ouch" and she started laughing. I don't know if that was because she was embarrassed or because she thought it was funny but that whole situation was not good at all. This is/was my favorite and the one place I went to get my acrylics done. But now I'm not so sure. There is a place pretty close by that is called 4K nails and my friends go there now because they had the same experience at this shop. They said that 4K is a little bit more expensive but said that it is worth the time and money. They do a great job on full set acrylic's and fill in's for acrylics. Also the fact that their color selection is way bigger than a plus nails. They said that the colors come out looking beautiful and their nails come out always look good and not lumpy or weird. I don't know what to do at this point because this is the only place I went to, to get my acrylics done. I I trusted them with my nails and they came out looking ok, But my experience wasn't so great. I gave this place a 2 star review because of the experience I had not because of how great the nails looked. If I could give them a rating on how well the nails looked then I would say about a 4 or a 4.1. But the lady was sort of rude because I asked for oval shaped and I've gotten those done before. She then told me that the look I wanted was a coffin shape but it definitely wasn't. I will attach a picture of what I got before and what I got this time. She also charge me $31 because she couldn't understand what I wanted. I shouldn't be charged extra for that. She added $3 on to the original price. She said that the shape I wanted wasn't oval but it definitely was just look at the picture of me at prom. Those are oval shaped. I got them done by the guy last time and I really loved him. The lady I did not cut my cuticles and did not push them back at all she just started to go right in with the acrylics. I was definitely disappointed that I was not given a massage with lotion like I did last time. It looked so great last time I had a great experience so I gave them a five star before on their website (which is on Facebook by the way). But now I'm getting them filled somewhere else because I did not have a good experience. read more

Very clean. The staff isn't very friendly or helpful though. My nail tech actually stopped to chat on her cell phone at one point which I found to be quite rude. I got a full set of pink and whites. My nails looked great when I left, but I quickly realized that my index finger nail was significantly crooked. I would not recommend this place to a friend and I will not be returning. read more

I was surprised to see low ratings for this salon after the experience I had there. I called in for a gel manicure 15 mins ahead of time and they said they could accommodate me. When I walked in, it was surprisingly busy for a Monday afternoon but I was helped right away by Moni. She gave me a meticulous manicure, accommodating all my requests and patiently answering all my questions. The entire gel process took about 45 mins to one hour. The final cost was $25 for the base gel manicure ($20 to change colors in the future), plus $3 for a small rhinestone on each finger. Moni even took care to do two top coats, one before and after applying the rhinestone, so that even if it fell off, it wouldn't take any color or chip. All the staff (and even fellow customers) were very nice and I had a great experience here. The salon interior is definitely a little dinky, but all the appliances and tools were clean, and the price can't be beat for the area. I'm planning my next manicure here already! read more

I would give no stars if I could. The woman did not listen to me, pressed a scrub so hard into my foot it created an open wound and welt. I forgot to ask one time and they use latex gloves at this salon (which I have an allergy/precaution to latex!). Using latex gloves is pretty much obsolete in the beauty industry and this is the one time I forgot to ask. Turns out I ended up with a huge rash up my legs! If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in for a simple fill, the tech did not listen to a single word I said about my nails, and was very rude. Definitely by far the WORST nails I've ever had and I could have done better doing it myself. I paid $44 FOR JUST A FILL on my acrylic set no design or anything. My nails are all Crooked and uneven in length. The fill is not good at all. Very bumpy and parts of my real nail is showing on the sides. Save your money and go somewhere better! read more

A+ just helped me treat both of my daughters to gel manicures for $50 - awesome! Not only that, one of them decided she didn't like the color after sleeping with it (typical for teens right??) I was visiting from out of town and wanted to pamper myself, so I decided to come here to get a quick gel manicure. I walked in during a weekday afternoon and they seemed pretty busy, but I was immediately set up with Moni. She did a fantastic job with my cuticles and nail filing - not to mention she is such a sweet woman and we chatted the entire time! A gel mani costs $25 here, which is way cheaper than I could dream of back home in New York, and despite the low cost the quality was comparable or better than any other salon I've been to. The salon itself definitely doesn't look particularly nice or fancy on the surface, but it is obvious that they keep the place clean, and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Went to her with a simple problem she dismissed me went and sat in a pedicure chair put her feet up and got on the phone meanwhile her and her employee began talking in I believe Chinese as if I couldn't tell they were talking about me. Previously I had been going to Natural Nails, but was always slightly disappointed at the quality of service rendered especially for the price (I find a $40 mani-pedi at a dinky little salon a bit steep; I'd rather go to an actual spa and pay more for an truly relaxing experience). I decided to try out A+ Nails and was pleasantly surprised. I arrived shortly after they opened and they took me right away. The polish selection is good (OPI, Color Club, China Glaze, & Essie) and my pedicure included hot stones, hot towels, a choice of different scrubs, and the most lovely thing is that they didn't try to do my toes and nails at the same time (biggest pet peeve/so NOT relaxing)! This place is extremely dirty and the people do not have the appropriate skills to do the work required on nails, I've been there twice , the first time it was fine but another customer had a difficult experience with 2 different employees who failed to do a nice clean job... Second time one of the ladies burned a clients eyelids while getting her eyebrows waxed.. The owners refused to give her a refund and told her to put on Vaseline to cure the burned lids, as the customer exited the "salon" they immediately told the responsible employee that they were going to take $ out of her check! My daughter and I came here for the first time on May 21st. Our pedi's were only $25 each and it was well worth it! They spent a good hour on us, taking their time with the massage. After they were done, our feet felt so soft and our nails were so pretty. My daughter chose 3 different colors for hers and they didn't charge us anything extra for that either.
