A+ Movers - Movers Near Me

I just used A plus movers to move from my 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom and was soo impressed with George and his team. They were all wearing masks, extremely polite, professional, and soo fast. I shopped around a couple of moving companies and I was a little reluctant to book this company because of how little reviews they had. I would recommend these movers in a heart beat! read more

Was extremely pleased to get a quote in less than 20 minutes. Movers arrived right on time and were extremely fast paced at moving all of our office furniture. Everything arrived safe and sound in once piece and we were very happy with the overall service and care. Thank you A+ movers. read more

EDIT: The review below was written after the moving experience, but after speaking to their customer service department, I am now giving this company five stars. They sent a mechanic to disassemble my bed and reimbursed me $165 for the bed and flower pot damages. The movers that helped me have been let go and will not be a source of issues for anyone else choosing to hire this company. They were very reasonable and understanding when I told them about my experience, and I will recommend them moving forward. Previous review: I feel as though I was swindled by this company. I was moving items from my one bedroom that included a bed, couch, dining table and chairs and about 20 boxes. This move should have taken at most two hours for professionals to do but the two movers this company sent took more than four. Not only were they thoroughly unprepared (didn't have scissors to cut tape with or an Allen wrench to disassemble my bed), they were extremely slow and clumsy moving my items. They ended up breaking my roommates flower pot, and breaking one of the posts on my bed because they didn't have the proper tools to disassemble. When I complained about the delays, they had the audacity to blame it on them having to tape boxes for me - something which at most would have taken me 15 minutes to do with the right tools. I was quoted $280 for three hours for two movers and I ended up paying them $375 for the extra time they took. If I had gone with another company quoting me $99/hr for three movers, it would have easily been cheaper even after adding a generous tip for the movers. For anyone considering this company, make sure you wait to hear back from other companies first. I won't be using their services ever again. read more

They made moving into my new place a breeze. Absolutely recommend them to any and all people looking for movers. Thanks A+ movers, will definitely be using you all again in the future. read more

Alonzo and Daniel did a wonderful job packing up and moving our things from our studio to one bedroom apartment (on the second floor). They were extremely efficient and friendly, the job was finished in exactly 3 hours! If my husband and I were to do this ourselves with a couple of friends, it would have probably taken the entire day. Start time was delayed due to the previous job beforehand, however, this wasn't too bad for us since it gave us some time to continue packing up anyways. Very thankful for Alonzo and Daniels hard work! read more

These guys (Cameron and Mario) are seriously masters at what they do. These 2 young men did the job of a 5 man team EASY! I was extremely impressed. I called A+ same day of my move and they were there in 2 hours (after they finished another job). I had BIG items (huge mirror, 4 TVs, eastern king bed, a FULL 7 cf freezer, etc.) moving downstairs and they moved everything so carefully and so quickly. They're very knowledgeable, polite, and kept a GREAT attitude the ENTIRE time. They worked very well together as well. I would never use another moving company after using A+ for SURE. I will definitely be recommending to friends & family too. read more

Robbie and George were wonderful! They made my move swift and easy. I highly recommend this moving company. Very polite!

These guys were fantastic! Very professional, courteous, and personable. I was shocked by how fast they moved all my stuff. I actually hired them to move my stuff into storage from an apartment downtown, then a month later when it was time to move into my apartment I hired them again and they were just as good. I would recommend them to anyone i know. read more

Heard back same day, movers were extremely friendly and the lead mover especially worked really hard. Good communicator.

These guys came thru on very short notice and everything went perfectly smooth. I live in a 3rd floor attic apartment with small hallways and lots of winding stairs, and these men still managed to carry a california king bed and all my furniture and heavy boxes. Very professional, down to earth, and asked if I wanted them to wear a mask (I didn't) and reasonably priced. Next time I need to move I will be hitting up A+ Movers again for sure read more

A+ Movers - not the easiest front door to get through - Movers Near Me

I am extremely please with doing business with A+ Movers. From ease of reservation to communication regarding price and logistics to the ultimate moving day, everything went as planned. I was very clear on what needed to be moved and included pictures for ease of obtaining a quote. Three movers showed up on time and ready to work. They were polite and efficient. We had one issue that was cleared up and dealt with and the move resumed. I would not hesitate to do business with them again. read more

Working with the team at A+ was great from start to finish. We decided to go with them after speaking with Aimee - she was incredibly thorough, helpful, and friendly. She answered our dozens of questions and made sure to follow up and keep communication open regarding the move. We had them do the packing on one day and moving the next. These guys showed up on time and ready to put in work. They moved quickly and efficiently to get all of our stuff wrapped, packed and secured. The next day they had a guy call in sick, so Z (the owner) showed up in his place. Not only did the owner show up, he put in a huge amount of work and hustled to get the move out done in the allotted amount of time we had. To top it off, he bought the crew (and us) lunch! The crew put in a LONG day moving from San Diego to LA but even during the unloading into the new place they were quick, professional and really nice. Everything made it in one piece - we didn't experience anything broken or damaged. The price for the move was fair and we didn't get hit with any crazy surprise charges or overages. Do yourself a favor and take the stress out of your move. This team will get the job done without breaking your budget. They're the real deal. read more

Dan, Sean, and John were all hard workers and efficient. Can't really determine an up front price for the their line of work because every job is different, but it was all explained in the proposal so I at least knew what to expect. You guys do not have an easy job and I respect and appreciate your guys hard work and making this an easy process for our move. Would definitely recommend! read more

Made an appointment for a Monday at 2PM for 3 movers for 3 hours. The confirmation email said to allow the movers a 2-4PM window to show up. Fine. I get to the house around 1:30 and just start waiting. At 3:45 I called to get a status and it went to voicemail. Received a call back maybe 5 minutes later. I state that I had an appointment at 2 and just wanted to get a status of when the movers would show up. He said he'll contact the guys and have them give me a call back with a better estimate. An hour later, I called back since no one had since contacted me. Again it goes to voicemail. This time I get a text message back at 5:10PM stating that they would not be able to do my move as planned as they had a driver not show up and would give me a discount to reschedule for the following day. That did not work for me as I had to be out of the house that night so I let him know that. He responds at 5:17 saying he might have gotten something figured out but they wouldn't be able to show up until closer to 6. I respond to let me know as soon as possible if he has a solution. At 5:51, after not hearing back, I tell him to forget it and to not bother. Luckily I have some great friends that dropped everything and came over to help with my move that night. read more

A+ movers hands down the most professional and efficient moving company I've done business with. This is my 3rd time moving in the past 4 years and this moving company blew the other 2 out the water. Customer service was top notch, the dispatcher I believe his name was Brian was extremely professional and looking out for my best interest. He was really friendly and worked out an amazing deal to get me moved in to my new place. I don't know what I would've done without them. Moving is never fun and we had hope that A+ movers would relieve some of the hassle that moving involves. Initially, I was impressed with the response and scheduling process. The movers arrived at least an hour late, they brought in some boxes since we had requested a full service move. We (the paying customers) ended up supplying tape, extra boxes and tall closet boxes for items in hangers. I spent a few hundred dollars because they forgot wrapping paper for the dishes and other items they should have provided. Long story short, some of our furniture was damaged, broken and some were simply left at the location. Half of one side of the kitchen was completely untouched and left behind. The move took longer than necessary as the crew moved fairly slow. I can go on and on about my experience. I was told someone would fix my damaged property and when I contacted them the number was disconnected. Save the hassle and money wasted. read more

We used these guys to move a 2 bedroom apartments worth of stuff out of a storage unit in Spring Valley to a 2 bedroom apartment in El Cajon. I spoke with the owner of the company who said he just started his company and was fairly new. The owner was very friendly and sweet. However, when it came down to the day of the move, the foreman did not call me before arriving as the owner informed me he would do. My mother started to call the number, but kept getting the voicemail. Finally, we received a call back and was told there was a mishap or mistake and that they scheduled us at the wrong time. It was about close to or 100° outside and my mother was not a happy camper as we were already at the storage unit and was told we'd have to wait about an hour ontop of the time we were already waiting there in the sun (no shade). However, when the movers did arrive, they were very friendly and my mom soon had forgiven them. If it wasn't for that little mishap, it would've been 5 stars hands down. I forgot to mention they did give us moving blankets to keep and we gave them smaller moving blankets to have. They moved us quickly, and were very friendly. read more

This is hands down the best moving company I've ever used in my life, me and my girl were working on very short notice and they showed up that same day to move our entire apartment from upstairs and they were so kind. They're very fast and yet they make sure to be extra careful not to break anything. I'm tglad that I could find someone that is willing to help on such short notice but to see the quality of work they do and the way they took care of our stuff had me shocked. I strongly recommend, I'll be calling them if I ever have to move furniture elsewhere ever again, nobody else deserves my money like them. No wonder these guys are called A+, they should've been A++, THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP GUYS! I'll be coming back! read more
