I filed my own nails after she did a pass, as my nails were still very uneven (mostly on the sides). While cleaning my nails, one of the nails came undone and the technician had to redo it. Not a good sign. I was unhappy with the uneven job and poor quality, but figured I didn't want to deal with drama so I paid and left. But then while waiting for my flight, I noticed that the gel was lifting up off on the thumb and was about to peel off. I went back to XpressSpa to try to get my money back. They said they could not offer a refund at the location; they did offer to fix the nail but my flight was about to start boarding so I wanted to get back to the gate. I am in communications with XpressSpa customer service to get a refund. $50 is too much money for a bad gel. Less than a day later and half the thumb has peeled off. :( Stick to the massages at XpressSpa's but perhaps skip the mani!

I've been living in Colorado for nearly five years and have only gone to one massage place on the…read moreopposite side of town, so I recently decided to try something closer after moving. I found this spa through Groupon and booked a couple's massage for my partner's birthday. When I initially called to confirm the booking (since I hadn't selected a specific date on Groupon), there seemed to be some confusion about how the Groupon reservation worked. We did end up getting a time on the calendar over the phone. However, on the day of our appointment when we arrived, we were told after going back and forth in person that we didn't actually have anything scheduled. We then had to reschedule on the spot for about an hour and a half later based on their availability, so we left and came back at the new time. When we arrived again, we had the wait for about 20 minutes. The couple's massage setup was not what we expected--we were placed in separate spaces with a curtain between us, whereas in past experiences at other spas, couples massages have always been in the same room. The Groupon also listed four add-ons, but we only received two during the service. The front desk explained that we would receive those add-ons. During the massage, I noticed that she only did two of the add-ons. We didn't argue and just finished the appointment as scheduled. Unfortunately, the massage itself was disappointing for both of us. My massage therapist seemed to focus more on areas that weren't tense and applied pressure in a way that felt more on bone than muscle. I left with soreness rather than relief, and I also developed headaches afterward, which is not typical for me after a massage. My partner also shared that his massage did not feel properly targeted or effective. Another concern was that my massage therapist appeared to be unwell during the session, coughing and heavily breathing throughout. At one point, she had to step out briefly. Shortly after returning home, I began feeling sick with a fever and have been unwell for about a week since. Overall, I left feeling disappointed with the experience and would not return or recommend based on my personal visit.

And I'd deff recommend her as a deep tissue worker. It is easy to get to and has parking. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is 2 things- it's more a chiropractic office than a "spa" environment. Which isn't a huge deal since you're face down for most of it, but if that's important to you, this isn't the vibe. And the other thing- I got a 120 min massage but we started at 1:11 & ended at 2:54... so I felt I lost 15 mins of the massage and the end of the massage was really abrupt (like ok you're done vibes) when I had asked the last 15 mins be on my head.

The relaxation room is well decorated but also basic. Book a treatment but don't expect to be impressed any extras.
