We sought them out along with 2 other companies (a franchise that advertises {and overcharges} A LOT and a larger MN-based company) for bids in early 2023, and hands down felt like 10K was the right choice. Our primary contact through the process was Jake- his clear communication throughout the process, meticulous attention to detail, and efficient, professional, transparent, personable approach make them a top-notch choice for any construction needs. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and the seamless collaboration with Eagle Windows. We cannot recommend them enough!

Legacy Restoration didn't just replace our roof -- they fought for us when no one else would, and…read moresaved us $30,000. Our story started in June 2025 with leaks in our porch and office. Friends recommended Legacy Restoration, and our estimator Michael Stanford immediately identified hail damage and began working with our State Farm agent. What followed was a six-month battle we never expected. State Farm denied our claim twice -- first calling it "normal wear and tear," then offering only mismatched patch shingles that would have violated building codes and reduced our home's value. Legacy refused to accept it. They brought in Robb Johnson -- a 30-year roofing veteran -- who personally documented everything and sent State Farm a comprehensive evidence file. Denied again. Still, Legacy didn't give up. Things got dire when State Farm threatened to drop our homeowners insurance entirely unless we paid $30,000 out of pocket -- by February 2026, in a Minnesota winter. We were also trying to close a HELOC that required active insurance. We were truly stuck. Robb kept hounding State Farm -- calling and emailing 2-3 times a week, coaching us on exactly how to communicate with our agent and adjuster. Within one week of our HELOC closing deadline, State Farm approved a full roof replacement. We didn't even need the arbitrator. Legacy worked quickly to get us the invoicing we needed to keep our insurance active and close our loan on time. We were likely the first home in Minnesota to get a new roof in March 2026 -- and the crew installed it beautifully in a single day. DeAngelo Funches (our Service Rep) and Jonathan Sanchez (our project manager) were exceptional throughout the build. If you need roofing, siding, windows, or doors -- especially if you're fighting an insurance claim -- call Legacy Restoration. They will fight for you like family. I am 100% certain we would not have gotten this roof covered without them. I cannot thank this team enough. Our deepest thanks to Michael Stanford, Robb Johnson, DeAngelo Funches, Jonathan Sanchez, and the entire Legacy Restoration team. You saved us -- and we will never forget it.

Pane in the glass offered touch up paint and a email copy from Pro Via stating not covered. But how do you touch up a hairline scratch. So dont count on a smooth door remaining nice looking. This happened the day after install. The installers tried to correct door fitting on the slab and made a special trip for material to prevent water intrusion. The inside of one door the flooring material got ripped on removal of old door. the installers cut a piece of wood that was part of door shipping material to cover it up. My husband says no big deal. Not true to the wife who was locked away with her dogs. I used up my goodwill on the scratch with this company. As an experienced home fixer upper myself I realize things crop up remodeling but they knew this home was slab on grade and should have planned accordingly. And an F to ProVia on durability of their top coat finish. If you are a perfectionist do not get a smooth finish or the Brick red finish. The crew failed to follow lead paint remediation practices and contaminated my entire yard with lead-based paint chips. They came out twice to "clean up" the lead paint - both times failed to reasonably clean up the lead paint chips. They then claim another contractor caused the lead paint contamination, quit the job without notice, and refuse to file a claim with their insurance company to cover the cost of cleaning up the lead paint chips they failed to contain. IMO, they are trying to get out of their responsibility to clean up the lead contamination. If you have a house that may have lead-based paint, I think you should avoid Clear Choice Restoration at all costs.

I regret hiring them to build a screened in porch…read more The quality of work is poor. Parts of the construction are failing less than two years after construction. The roof already leaks and they say they'll try to fix it if we sign a new contract with them. They say it's ice dams but cannot explain why the leaks occurred when there was neither ice nor snow near the seam they say is leaking. The exterior door repeatedly sagged and could not be opened. They came out to fix the door this summer (after many phone calls over a period of months) and nailed a big plywood board over the screen door to strengthen it - that's the permanent solution. The current door and frame are still both visibly crooked. It looks completely unprofessional and we feel like we're going to need to hire another professional to have the door reframed and replaced. The porch was not built according to the original agreement. We paid for helical screw pilings, but Miller Construction switched to cheaper concrete pilings without any notification, did not offer a refund for the difference in cost, and would not talk to us during construction to discuss the situation despite repeated requests. We paid for insulation throughout the addition, but the building was not framed to allow space for insulation in many sections of the room, so we have an addition that is only partially insulated. The communication with Miller Construction has always been poor. We've had multiple promises to call or come out to look at the various issues, but the promises are rarely kept. For the first few months after contracting with us, communication was so lacking we seriously questioned whether the company had run off with the initial payment. They hadn't, but they didn't reach out to us until months later when a crew showed up at the house unannounced. I wouldn't hire them again.
