There were three different interactions and all three or not up to par. As someone that has spent a good amount of time in customer service, I find it to be completely unacceptable to speak to customers like that. We didn't even have any issues with anything.

****Edited to say that I just read other reviews and YES they do talk about you behind your back…read moreand laugh. Dress shopping is stressful especially if you are not small and all dresses fit. ****** I will not be back. The young girl that works there is very rude! You can only pick/shop for 3 dresses at a time. Then you give the workers your 3 dresses to try on and you get in line for a dressing room. If none of the 3 work, you have to get dressed and go shop again for only up to 3 more options, You once again give them your next 3 dresses and then go to the back of the line for a dressing room again. (They will NOT let you shop for all dresses you want to try on even if you are willing to only try on 3 at a time and return to the end of the line for a dressing room.) This cycle repeats until: A. You give in and just buy one because you are tired, frustrated, and overwhelmed. B. You leave and go to the NUMEROUS wonderful other dress stores in the same geographical area. (I'm betting their marketing team is hoping for option A, but it failed for at least 10 customers yesterday just in the two hours we were there. Out of the 10 others this young lady offended that left the store- choosing option B - we ran into 7 of them at First Impressions. All 7 of us bought our dresses there and had a wonderful experience.) P.S. we were there for 2 hours and only managed to try on 5 dresses and not because of the options that could have been tried on. Here are the other wonderful dress option shops in the area. (Yes, we visited all of them over the same weekend with NO experience at ALL like what we had at Buffie's All the Rage.) Little Rock Area First Impressions - Jacksonville Conway Area Royal We Emerge You can thank me later!

Stop 1 of 3 on my Little Rock wedding dress quest. It wasn't successful for me, but I did have a…read moregood experience. Here's why! Scheduling: I called to schedule just a few days in advance and they fit me in with no problems. I received a confirmation email and reminder texts, which was great. You have to put down a credit card, which will only be charged if you are a no show. Ambiance: of the stores in Little Rock that I visited, the ambiance here is the least charming. There are a few seating areas for different parties but the lighting and decoration isn't as romantic as the other stores I visited. Not bad, but not great. Selection: I did not find my dress here, but that's because I have a very specific vision that is not too traditional or classic. They had beautiful gowns from 5+ designers, which was good, but just not my style! Service: I LOVED the consultant who helped me here, Melissa. She was so sweet in the way she described her approach to helping brides and I felt zero pressure from her to buy. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and pulled items that she thought would fit my style. By the end of the session I felt like we were buds! Price: dresses here run between 1.5k and 3k, which is about the same as the other shops I visited.

Who in the world gave this place 5 stars???!!!! . I made the mistake of bringing my wedding dress here for a hem, bustle, and for cups to be added to the dress...... I brought my dress in, tried it on and she pinned everything in place. In regards to the bustle, she told me she didnt know how to do it, and that I should just carry my train over my arm. I should of left then, but she quoted me a decent price for what she could do so I just decided to let her do it and take it somewhere else after. She told me it would take a month to do everything. A month later, (60 days before my wedding). She called me and told me that everything was ready. I told her that I would come the following Saturday and she told me her business hours are from 10-2. I came on Saturday but her door was locked. I called and no one picked up. I waited in my car outside her house from 11 to 1. I kept calling and knocking on her door the entire time. I do not live in Little Rock and Saturday is the only time I have to take care of this. Why in the world would the door be locked during business hours? No sign. No explanation of why the door was locked. It was just locked. At 1:30. I gave up. I decided to just leave a voicemail and come another day. As I left the voicemail, she interrupted and picked up the phone. Told me she was inside and to come in At this point I was pretty irritated but was relieved that I could come and get my dress today.... But guess what... I put the dress on, the cups were sewn in place, but the hem wasnt done....YEP... NOT DONE! She told me that it would take another month to do the hem and that it would cost more money than what she quoted me originally. She did a great job on the cups, but her timing ....AWFUL. I politely paid for the cups she sewn in and left. Oh and did I mention that it was pouring down raining the entire day....the icing on this crap cake Ladies..learn from my mistakes. I should of kept driving when I realized that this "business" is done out of her duplex. No ma'am. No thank you. Not with my Wedding Dress. Maybe some with slacks or a shirt, but that's it.

Just to warn you, Barbie's is one of those odd local businesses located in her very own home. If…read moreit weren't for looking up alteration places online, I would've never come across it. It's in the residential part of Beechwood, a little bit past up Kavanaugh. Going there, you oddly feel like you're going to visit a friend. Parking is a little weird; be sure not to park in the driveway because it's her neighbor's. Anyhow, to the point. Barbie is a sweet grandma who could easily be your own. She does a fantastic job altering gowns and has been praised for her work on weddings by local magazines. Barbie has 20 plus years of experiencing sewing clothes, so things will get done the right way. She's very attentive to the respected piece being worked on, but she doesn't come without a hefty price. Even simple alterations like hemming a pair of pants costs up to ten dollars. And that's just something simple. A friend of mine had a dress taken in and that wasn't cheap, either. A plus side is that she runs her own business, so you might be able to negotiate prices with her. It wouldn't hurt. Be careful when it comes to deadlines, though. Barbie isn't very good with finishing things in a timely manner, unless you give her a specific day you need something. If not, you might have to wait awhile before your pieces get finished. Think of her as your grandma who's great, but she might just sometimes forget about things. She'd be good for: complicated alterations weddings, expensive gowns I wouldn't recommend: simple alterations like hemming a pair of pants or getting a skirt or dress shortened.

The setting is beautiful and welcoming, and there is something almost magical about it. It immediately feels special, like you are stepping into a place where brides really find their dress. The inventory is massive. Truly massive. People travel from all over because the selection is that incredible. Row after row of gowns in every style you can imagine. Classic, modern, dramatic, simple. It is all there. And it goes far beyond just wedding gowns. They have everything bridal. Veils, accessories, and even black dresses. What really stands out is the depth of knowledge. The team knows bridal inside and out. They understand fit, designers, alterations, and how to guide a bride through what can feel like a huge decision. You feel supported the entire time. And here is something that says a lot. They see an average of about 60 brides every Saturday. Sixty. That alone tells you how trusted and loved this place is. Another thing I love is that weddings today often involve multiple looks. Ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, and sometimes even a send-off dress. You can end up wearing three or four dresses throughout your wedding events, and Low's has something for every moment. If you are getting married and you skip Low's Bridal, you are honestly missing out. The selection, the experience, and the expertise make it one of those places every bride should visit!!
