My daughter had an appointment and we all took off work to go. My daughter was very confident she would find THE dress. We live 4 hours away, when we got there she explained exactly what she wanted. The girl helping pulled complete opposite of what she wanted. After about 5 dresses she informed my daughter that that was it. We were done amd have a great day. Lasted a whole hour if that. She made me and my party feel so welcome, which is very important when you're shopping for hours with somebody who will likely see you in your underwear as she's getting you in and out of dresses. Took my daughter wedding dress shopping at Low's in March of 2025. Our consultant was Erika. The experience and service was everything I could have asked for and more. We were in a section to try dresses where all the sizes were in my daughter's size category. If there were other brides trying dresses that day, I would have never known. We weren't crowded or rushed. Other consultants that didn't have active appointments were assisting as well. Erika really listened to what my daughter wanted. She paid attention to the budget and was mindful of what worked and what didn't. We found a dress well under our budget without even paying much attention. The goal was the right dress, and just so happened to be under what we expected. Even with veil we were in the price point we wanted to be. I highly recommend Low's and Erika! read more

Wow..... just wow!! I have known about this spot for some time but always thought it would be way out of our price range as well as too far away for us to even attempt the thought of trying on wedding dresses ... however I was sorely mistaken! My daughter and her fiancé have a short engagement (3.5 months to be exact) and finding a dress has been at the top of our list. My cousin recommend we try and so thankful we did. The Lord totally opened the door to where we could stop in during their SALE..... on our way to Memphis (from Northwest Arkansas). My daughter had a dress from David's bridal picked out just in case and when we met Katherine she knew she had her work cut out for her. Our appointment started about 28 minutes late (Saturday at Low's .... Expect delays) but the service was impeccable. There is a small seating outside the dressing area where brides and their party wait. You can look through the gowns displayed and sip on some water while you wait your turn. I loved that they had a what to expect and ways to support the bride for the whole party to read through. The bathrooms are beautiful as well!! Once our name was called Katherine (our hostess/consultant) pulled us to the side, got a bit of info from my daughter and walked us back to an area with 4 chairs and a full length mirror. Can I just say..... they have everything laid out so very well! We then went to an pick out a few dresses and the fun began. After the third dress we were all in tears! Katherine did a great job guiding us through the process, finding options that truly spoke to Audrey's ideas and getting to know Audrey so very quickly... it was all just amazing. I can't say enough good things about this process. It is a treat that every bride and her special peeps should enjoy. Side note.... Since the guys were with us they hopped over to a coffee shop (The Java Spot). It is a great place to enjoy ice cream, coffee, small snack and support the local youth! Oh and one small tid bit.... I never felt rushed and she was quick to snag more dresses according to the styles and features I liked to make the most of my reserved time. I never felt pressured to buy or even show a dress to my party that I didn't absolutely love. I originally went just for a better idea and had no expectation of finding The One, but was wonderfully surprised to find a dress that checked all of the boxes during my visit! Terrible experience! I purchased my wedding dress here 24 yrs ago so it was my first choice when my daughter got engaged. So i booked an appointment that cost me 25$. The consultant was very nice and very helpful, but she was also not dressed as i would have thought was appropriate. The dress selection was vast but was not very high quality. I was never offered a drink or even a glass of water only a restroom which was absent of tissue paper in multiple stalls. Also please tip your consultant signs everywhere. I had a great experience here. All of their dresses are off the rack. This place is HUGE! they bring you into a room of dresses closest to your size and budget. You pull dresses and when you try them on, you talk about what you like/don't like. After the initial few, they start pulling dresses that they think you might like. Overall, I found my dress! They have a few good sales which kept me in my budget. I never felt pressured to buy a dress and I actually went home from the first appointment without one. They were wonderful when my parents purchased my wedding dress there 30 years ago. My husband and I took my daughter there as well. There are so very many choices for a plus size bride. Wow! The salesperson was so very helpful. They treated my daughter with respect and dignity. She tried on so many designer dresses. Lows has so many style options in such a wide size range. They stock nationwide designer brands in the full size range. There is nothing small town about their selection. The staff were so truly gracious. Southern Hospitality at its finest. We visited back in January before anyone could get vaccinated shopping for our daughter's wedding gown who lives out of state. We had made an appointment and hoped that they'd take all necessary precautions. Our time was interrupted by other brides coming into our space looking for gowns which didn't make us feel they really took the pandemic seriously. More importantly, I didn't feel like they valued our business. Nonetheless, our daughter found a beautiful gown and veil. Fast forward to her August fitting, and her gown is tight, with wedding in October. I contacted the store since I live in Arkansas to see if we could exchange. Manager seemed friendly, accommodating, etc and stated she had the worn larger rack size still in stock. Our daughter followed up, and the manager then stated she would sell her the sample rack gown for $1,000. Seriously! With a diet plan and a great seamstress, our daughter opted for her new expensive gown and it fit fabulous and looked fabulous on her wedding day! Not a fan of Low's staff but their gowns are lovely. Where do I begin? My two guests (currently you can have up to 3 with you) and I visited Lows yesterday, 6/30/2020, in anticipation of finding my dress for my wedding next summer. I'd been up all night prior, worrying I would have trouble finding something that fit me and made me look beautiful. I was literally searching on the internet while I lay in bed, "what if I feel ugly trying on dresses". 1. I'd originally scheduled an appointment for July 1st roughly a month ago; but needed to change it to a day earlier. I did this about a week and a half ago, and it was SO EASY. You just call, tell them what's going on, and boom. New date. No hassle. Easy. As. Pie. Loved that. Took five minutes, tops. 2. We arrived at 10 am (my appointment time). We were greeted by two ladies in masks who briefly explained to us the measures they're taking to ensure safety during this time. Our temperatures were taken, and we were directed to use hand sanitizer or go to the restroom to wash our hands. Afterwards my guests and I sat down at one of the tables in their lobby and I filled out a card for contact information + the style of dresses I was interested in. We also received a paper stating some rules for us while in the shoppe. Very clear cut, I loved that I didn't have to wonder what was or wasn't okay to do. 3. My name was called by Bailey Fields, whose energy matched mine immediately. Y'all. She is a consultant from heaven. Bailey took us upstairs to where dresses in my size would be. I didn't know much about the gowns going into this, but she very plainly explained how the sizes run and she directed me to some gowns she thought would fit me well. She let us know how the sales pricing worked, which gowns were on sale, which ones had already been marked down, etc. again. Love that it was so simply laid out for me to understand. My sister and I picked three gowns for me to try on - while Bailey pulled two of the gowns that I'd written down on my card back in the lobby. We went back to our fitting area (which was much more intimate than I expected - it was great!) Bailey offered that my sister or best friend could help me get into the gown or that she could do it, it was up to me. I'm happy I wasn't forced into anything uncomfortable and that my concerns was considered this whole experience - without me even bringing them up. I tried on the two I'd requested first, and while both very beautiful -- I didn't get "that feeling" in them. Meanwhile, Bailey was scheming on the outside of the dressing room! She's found a gown that she'd probably pulled and put back four or five times. Finally she asked through the doors "what do you think about trying a gown in [this style]?" I was up for anything, so my sister grabbed the gown from her and helped me in. We came out, I stood on the stool, and that's when I knew. It was the one. The third dress, that my consultant picked, that only took maybe 15 minutes out of the hour and a half I was expecting to use.... it was absolutely beautiful and I felt right wearing it. Bailey also recommended a hair clip and veil, which I hadn't even thought about yet.... but it looked awesome too. So of course I got it. Maybe my favorite part of the whole process was that Bailey wasn't trying to force me in any direction, she asked questions and left a lot of room for me to imagine what I'd like. A very sweet, down to earth consultant that I could not have done this without. 4. I used my Discover card for my purchase; thank goodness they take discover because some places don't, lolol. That process was fast and easy too! Ms. Cathey was very friendly and quick. She mentioned that I would receive an email with their recommendations for places that do alterations. A very nice extra step they take to ensure you have the gown you want. We went outside, took a picture with their "Yes to the Dress" sign, and I left as a very satisfied customer. (I'm usually very indecisive) However, the last one she recommended I try was The One and by that point, I could feel it. As soon as it was on, I forgot about the other beauties. She read my mind and I have been told that I am really hard to read. Katherine was instrumental and I would not have the perfect dress without her. And I was a little late in choosing my gown so the fact that she was able to find the perfect one for me at an unbelievable price was more than I could have ever hoped for. My expensive was so much better than I was expecting. We were greeted when we walked in. I was asked to fill out a paper while I waited for a consultant. My consultant was Bailey Fields and I lucked out. I had no idea what I wanted, other than sleeves. I really did like all of them. We went to our room, which has seating for my two guests. We wore masks the entire time except to take pictures. We picked out several dresses and Bailey picked out a few for me to try on as well. She was very helpful. The building, inventory and dresses are amazing. The sales staff we meet with where simply horrible. They stuck there noses up at are mere $2k budget for a dress and wanted an immediate sale only. Rushed us through with basically no to little help. I guess if you have money to just throw away this would be a great place to shop. Shame the customer service could not match the quality of the items for sale here. The owner or upper management needs to capitalize training for all types of people. This is a crying shame. Worst experience of our entire life!! We had to pick our own dresses only to have someone come behind us and put them all back before they were ever tried on. We were stuck in the dressing room to try dresses on and look at them with no where to sit! Dresses weren't cinched to make them fit or half zipped up. My mother, FMIL, MOH, and future daughter arrived bright and early for our 9am appointment on Saturday, July 8th and were immediately worried about the amount of people who had already arrived for Low's semi-annual sale. Even though the store was absolutely overloaded with eager brides and friends hoping to find a great deal, we had a truly wonderful experience. I cannot express how much I appreciated Regan, our consultant. She was very professional and we never felt rushed to make a decision. This place is intense (but a beautiful building). As we waited for our appointment (we were the first appointment on a Saturday), I asked for the wifi code. They don't have one. So don't plan on Skyping in with loved ones afar. I was trying to pull up all the dresses I had spent time finding from their designers on their website. Turns out that they didn't have any of them... Our consultant brought us back and she and I looked at some dresses. Everything felt very hurried. I couldn't tell if this was being done for my benefit or hers.Though I said my budget was under $1,000, she continued to show me dresses over that. It felt like there were so many people there. Tons of other brides and their families (a mom ran into me taking pictures of her daughter), tons of consultants whizzing dresses back and forth. It's so beautiful here and it was so highly recommended by friends. I really don't know what happened. Checking in was fine. Choosing dresses was another story. I tried to give clear ideas on the kind of dress I wanted (A-line, strapless, whatever), but got totally different things to try on in totally wrong sizes. At one point we showed a picture of the kind of dress we wanted (because we figured our helper may have been confused) and the dress found was still just completely opposite in style, cut and neckline. It's really possible that this was just one helper and I chose the wrong budget amount. The brides trying on dresses around me looked gorgeous (with dresses that fit) but I ended up feeling like I was going to cry near the end. read more

Alright, ladies, lemme tell you, if you need a hard-working, frank, but lovely bridal consultant, you MUST go see Miss Regina at Low's. She can't stand more than 5 feet tall and weigh 100 pounds soaking wet, but she is by far one of the most industrious women I've ever had occasion to work with. She helped me find my dress like a divining rod. Low's is set up very logically. The less expensive dresses are downstairs, and the more expensive ones are upstairs. You can start up or down, and you begin by pulling what you like from the tea room in the front. Men are not allowed beyond this space. :) I love that feature of Low's. If the friends and family who accompany you are interested, they can pull dresses from the area where the majority of the gowns are stocked. It's fantastic. You have full view of 95% of the gowns, maybe 100% of the gowns. It gives you an opportunity to see more than you'll ever see at other boutiques, and that gave me a sense of security. I knew that because I had seen so many dresses that I had not missed a dress that may be "the one." I tried on dozens of dresses on the very busy day of my appointment, and I never felt rushed. There were times I stepped into a dress, and Miss Regina could read on my face that I was not pleased. We moved on. I know this will sound cliche, and I did not believe it until it happened to me, but when I put on the dress I eventually bought, it was obvious that it was my dress. Miss Regina said, as we made our way out to my friends and family, "I think you're having a chemical reaction to this dress!" I could not have agreed more. From its alcenon lace frame to the fabric buttons trimming the back, it was pure perfection, perfection for me that is. I was inspired by the variety of women in Low's that day. There were girls and moms of all sizes and shapes, colours, and of all dispositions. What was lovely to me was that all of them found able assistance in the women who are incredibly devoted to their work at Low's. A truly Southern and tailored experience, I could not recommend more highly any bridal boutique. read more

This is the first place I went wedding dress shopping, and I think that the first dress I tried on is going to be *my* dress!! This is not for lack of trying. I tried on 40 dresses. Traditional, sparkley, 20 foot trains, simple draping...they have absolutely every silhouette and shade you could desire. The consultant, Katy, was so helpful. She was honest, didn't push anything on me, and didn't make me feel pressured to buy a dress today. The salon is in a gorgeous hotel from 1913 and has the original ceilings and floors. It is the most beautiful building in town. And it truly is beautiful, but the town doesn't offer much in the way of competition--at least from what I saw. The salon is across from an old train depot, and when the tracks moved, the town must have dried up. Brinkley is itty-bitty. The population is now 4000, and the downtown looks like a an empty shell waiting to be filled. I drove to Brinkley with my Mom from Fayetteville. I live in DC, but I wanted to go this salon with her, after hearing a great review from a friend. There's a little sandwich shop, the Cottage Cafe, up the street that is a good bite before shopping, but not much else in town. It was, in short, a perfect experience. I'm going to do a little more looking before I buy the dress, but I'm 99.9% sure that I found the dress today, and I cannot more highly recommend Low's. read more

I drove 4 hours to be with my daughter to try on Wedding dresses. Everyone said this was the place to go. It was beautiful and had pretty dresses, but the consultant was not good. We had a 2 hour appointment, but my daughter spent the first 45 minutes running around trying to find dresses to try on. The consultant offered NO suggestions, Just helped my daughter in and out of dresses that the group of us went and found on the racks!! I had to suggest that my daughter stand on a step stool (she is short) so we could see what the dresses looked like . She did not offer any suggestion of want style would be best with her body type. I have gotten more personal attention at a department store. My daughter left in tears. I tried to send an email but there isn't one listed on website read more

Rule #1 make an appointment ahead of time. They work by appointment only. Rule #2 no kids past the lobby, due to expensive dresses, etc (I personally love this rule!). We came here in January to shop for my daughter's wedding dress and were not disappointed. They have a HUGE selection to choose from and are one of the largest wedding dress shops in the country! The largest in the mid-south with over 40 designers to choose from. The employees are courteous and helpful. They have such sweet southern accents. I did notice that I was shown the pricey gowns before I was shown the reasonably priced gowns.
