On August 14th, I scheduled a move with owner of Mosine Moving, Danny. I scheduled the move for about 11am, however the movers called me around 8:30am wanting to come early because they had other moves for the day. Luckily, I was available and it was okay. Unbeknownst to me at the time, the movers that showed up to my house were NOT employees of Danny's moving company, and he did not communicate this to me until later that day. I signed paperwork for a company that I DID NOT ORIGINALLY BOOK WITH. The company was A-List Movers. Danny later told me he had too many moves and his company couldn't do them all. In that case, SAY YOU'RE UNAVAILABLE. I was skeptical about signing the initial moving paperwork due to their insurance clause, however, upon signing, the mover assured me that no TV has ever been broken and all my items will be transported safely. Not only were my movers from A-List Movers slow and one of the workers had to quit halfway through, they BROKE MY $900 LG TELEVISION. I called Danny and told him about it, and he said he would call Cory (the owner of A-List) to resolve the issue. Cory was rude with me on the phone, rude to my husband on the phone and told me that it was my fault I didn't pack the television properly, and that they would only pay $0.60 per pound of my television. Let's say my TV weighs 50 pounds. That means I would get compensated $30 for my $900 TV and their negligence. Unacceptable. Cory denied my refund and was not empathetic, nor took any responsibility that he and his employees were in the wrong. I called Danny back and told him that since I didn't book with Cory and didn't ask for Cory's services, it's Danny's responsibility. Danny assured me over the phone that he and Cory would take care of it and reimburse me. Never happened. As a company owner, it is not right to do that to people and I 10/10 WOULD NOT RECCOMEND. He has no compassion for his customers, and is extremely unprofessional. Book your move elsewhere. read more

We were doing an antiques show in Round Top and had our goods moved from our Dallas office to Round Top... Cory's movers did a great job on the way to RT. Everything was packed professionally and there were no issues. ON THE RETURN, IT TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE. First, I was told the pick up would happen in the afternoon from RT. The pick up didn't happen till 9:45 at night. I was waiting at our Dallas office to receive the goods, but got the call saying he had just gotten to RT at 9:45pm to start picking up the goods. BTW there are NO lights at this location at night! I trusted the movers to pack everything and bring it back just like they had taken it. The goods were kept locked overnight and returned this morning to our Dallas office. EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF OUR FURNITURE IS DAMAGED. We design Custom pieces... and have more than $15,000 in damage already. NOTHING WAS WRAPPED. I repeat, NOTHING was wrapped. Attached are pictures of SOME of the damage. They broke one of the frames to my artwork, completely broke a sculpture and Half of my glass wear (not an exaggeration, I had 8 wine glasses and drinking glasses and they broke 4 of each and they were packed perfectly). When I confronted them they were rude and denied it. It was so uncomfortable and I didn't know what to do. They took there sweet time. I moved 15 minutes away (with only a few pieces of furniture and 5 boxes) and they took 5 hours. 2 years ago I had the same amount of items and moved an hour away and it only took 3 hours (I used a different company then). read more

WORST MOVING SERVICE EVER!!!! My move was scheduled for Saturday afternoon, but the Owner called me the morning of to tell me he couldn't do the move. He offered to do it on Sunday, but he claimed his company doesn't work on Sundays. This put me in a big bind with my apartment lease now being passed the move out date and now costing me. The time I was told they would come was 10am for the inconvenience but the day of the move the workers showed up almost 5 hours late, and I was charged $200 more than what originally quoted to me. The Owner didn't even offer to compensate me or discount the rate for his lack of professionalism. The movers where fine, however the Owner's lack communication was abysmal and he did not even care about the additional cost I took on. If you would like to be told your movers can't make it the day of move day and accrue extra cost unnecessarily, then I would say choose this company for sure. read more

When booking I made sure to share that we had three TVs that we would need help with and that the boxes were available confirmed would be able to help and that they would not move the TVs without the boxes. These guys are great!! Highly recommended if you want the job done correctly and for a better price than other companies in the area. I called Cory after being referred to him and he was very cooperative and open about how he runs things. I respect this type of behavior and for that, I chose to use his service. The guys showed up early, which I consider to be on time, so that was the first good sign. Next, they didn't waste any time before starting to get things rolling. Being that I was paying an hourly rate, some would expect a lag in starting work and doing minimal effort to extend the time - this was NOT the case at all! These guys literally began working as I was signing the paperwork. The work ethic and attitude of these guys was great and I couldn't have asked for better. Great work Cory and team! Please read before hiring this company. I had the worst experience ever in my 5 times moving(some with military) with this company. I hired them in Dallas for a move from my home to a storage facility less than two miles away. I initially spoke to the owner Cory, who claimed they were black owned business and recently name best business in Dallas. They were very unprofessional and asked personal questions about me and my family. They took more than the time needed to complete the job and had the nerve to take smoke breaks and asked for a store run on my time. The finish work was horrible! I texted the owner Cory to informed him of the problems and he basically told me it was my fault. I explained to him I thought I hired professional movers and not someone off the street. This should be 0 stars. Where do my I start? I scheduled a move with Jason/Corey a week and a half ago. I called this past Saturday to ask a question. No one answered the phone and I called all day. FINALLY Monday morning I reach one of them (they sound alike). He said he couldn't find where I was scheduled. He too promised he would put my information down....the day before my move I called to confirm....one of the brothers once again told me I don't see u on the schedule. I explained that I called all day Saturday and no one answered. He said to me "so why do you keep calling?" In a rude tone. Im like I have questions and like to confirm. He said " if we have a time then we will be there we are always on time.." He gave me his personal number to call to if I had any more issues. ....fast forward...my move was scheduled 45 mins ago...I've had no call and have not seen any movers...and GUESS WHAT!!! my phone calls haven't been answered....had my friend call and still no answer. These people are very unprofessional. I try to support B.O.B but...I guess this is what I get. Don't be fooled by the $15 u save per hour. They showed up on time when they said they would they packaged all the goods with the appropriate wrappings, tape, blankets and bubble wrap for the fragile goods, they asked questions when they were not sure and to make sure i was satisfied with the whole process... A-List movers did a great job with moving me out of my 3 story townhome and into my apartment and storage unit. They made sure they wrapped all the main and delicate furniture and surprisingly took apart my king-size bed and other furniture that wouldn't fit down the narrow stairway. It took a little longer than I expected but I can't complain about the results. They didn't damage anything and packed the truck well. I'm actually using them again this weekend and hoping for the same results. read more

I purchased a Groupon for A-List movers. Afterward, I emailed them. No response. So, I assumed it was because I emailed them. I called twice and left 2 voicemails. No response. I even texted them. It's common courtesy to respond within 1 business day. Needless to say, I requested a refund from Groupon. I'm glad they honored it. We made an appointment to have these guys come over and move us and wanted it done early so made the appointment weeks in advance to be the first appointment of the day. The appointment was for a Saturday and we called the day before to confirm and were assured all was good. We prepared everything early in the morning to expedite things when they were to arrive. The appointment was for 8am and it came but the movers did not. About a half hour later when still nobody had showed up we called to make sure they had our correct address and contact information. The man who answered assured us they did and were on their way. Time kept ticking away and by 9:00 still nobody had arrived so we called back and threatened to take the job and go with someone else. We were reassured they were on their way but by 9:30 still nobody had showed up. We cancelled and went with someone else. This messed up all afternoon plans with other companies scheduled to set things up at our new place (caused a 4 hour delay). We can understand that sometimes a job runs too long and the next one gets delayed because of it but these guys had no excuse as we were the first move of the day. If you want your movers to show up don't call these guys. read more

These guys are GOOD! They arrived on time, were very professional and made sure they knew exactly what was being moved and what was staying behind to help stage our house for selling. Every other quote I got said that it would take 7 hours for a 3-man crew. They were loaded in 2.5 hours and it took them about 1.5 hours to unload. First of all let me start off by saying that I have moved a dozen times and I have NEVER experienced the lack of professionalism from a moving company like I have with A-List. Corey, the owner was a very personable guy, and I got a good vibe from him which is why I chose to go with the company, but clearly my instincts were wrong. We had to reschedule our move because of the bad flooding which Corey accommodated no problem. Then move day came and the problems began. We expected the movers at 1pm, and at 12:59 after texting and trying to call Corey I received a text stating the movers would be at our house at 2pm. 2pm came and went and I received a call from the actual movers at 2:30 saying they would be at our house in 20 minutes. They finally showed up at 3pm. I was told their truck could easily accommodate a 4 bedroom house with no issue. We have a 3 bedroom house that isn't fully furnished and most of our items were boxes and they couldn't get everything in 1 trip which of course cost us more money since we were paying by the hour. One of the guys didn't speak or read English so the boxes marked "Fragile" meant nothing to him. They were careless and throwing boxes around like they were nothing. In carrying some furniture downstairs they put a 2 foot gash in the wall of our old house (which we now have to repair), and they ripped a shelf out of the wall in our garage.I tried to make everything easy as possible, everything in the garage went into the new garage and everything inside the house went inside the new house, but that meant nothing to them, they tried to put everything in the new garage. As hour 5 approached and they were barely unloading the first load at the new house, I attempted to call Corey to discuss the issues and surprise surprise he doesn't answer, so my husband tried to call him and no answer. When we asked the movers if they could get a hold of Corey he said we could discuss our issues with him, so we explained this is costing significantly more than we expected and the damages. His response was, "if you would have told me Corey said everything would fit in one truck I could have told you no". As for the damages, his response was "stuff happens". It's now late at night, and they tell us they will only take cash when I was told by Corey credit card would be accepted and they still have to go get the rest of our stuff, so our hands were tied and we had to go get cash, but the ATM only allows $500 a day, so we had to borrow the rest from my mother. On the 2nd trip they would only get the items that we couldn't move with our cars. Once they got to the new house to drop off the remaining stuff, they couldn't fit it in the garage because they put EVERYTHING (except furniture) in the garage, they started stacking our stuff on the side of the house which we didn't notice until the next day. My husband and i ended up having to take an extra day off work to finish moving the rest of our stuff they wouldn't pick up. This was truly the worst move I have ever experienced and many of our items are broken and they scratched up our new hard wood floors. This company is FAR from A-List. I don't even think they deserve an F. If I could go back I would have hired one of the "bigger" more established companies because this ended up costing us significantly more. And after all this, we still have yet to receive a call back from Corey. Steer clear of this company, please!! read more

After touching base with them all day and getting the same response I ended up have to move all my stuff in the dark by myself. I had used them once before and my stuff was pretty beat up and I was missing a few things. But I figured that's just what you get when your moving. The experience started out fine. Cory was friendly over the phone and timely in confirming a date for my out of state relocation from Chicago to Dallas. He was a referral from Dennice at Healy Relocation. This was to be a full service move - packing and shipping my apartment. That was UNTIL my move date. Movers were supposed to arrive at 11:00am to begin packing up items. It wasn't until 11:30am that I called moving team for an update and discovered they were still in Texas!! Chaos followed. I called Cory to notify him and he was clueless as to what was happening. A-List Movers attempted to contract a company in Chicago to do the work, but did not fully explain the move and went with the cheapest option. Two college kids with no moving/packing experience arrived at 2:00pm with no supplies. Not to mention, I had to go and rent a Budget truck and purchase the packing supplies. Cory was no help in working with the moving company. The rest of the afternoon and night was spent packing up my own apartment - which I had paid for and should not have been doing. However, I needed to move out of my apartment and didn't have too many options at that point. The team finally arrived around 11:00pm that night! Only 12 hours late! It gets even better. When the moving truck arrived in Dallas, Cory held my belongings hostage in the truck. He refused to have his team unload the truck until I paid him IN FULL for the move. Why would any reputable business demand full payment when they only did half of the work?!!! Very poor service. NO excuses. read more

Is it supposed to take 6 hours and cost $600 to move a 1 bedroom apartment (only the furniture, no boxes) 10 minutes away? One of the workers was very much taking his time, and when we got to the new apartment, they didn't have anything to cut the shrink wrap with, so they just stabbed my furniture with a screwdriver. I even put my own desk back together and took off the padding for a lot of the furniture (which I had to ask them specifically to put on for several pieces of furniture that they tried to move without padding). Almost every time that they moved furniture through the door, the furniture would slam into the side of the door or fall off - the side of the door is now damaged, as is some of my furniture. Great experience. After another firm didn't show up to move us in Dallas, we contacted A-List and they responded promptly and professionally just two days later. The three movers, Troy, Charleston and Corey arrived promptly and went right to work. They moved efficiently and with great attitudes not only towards me and my wife, but with each other as well. A-List movers were there right on time at 7pm and stayed until the move was done. They even helped us put our furniture together, despite a late night and rain. They gave me a 1-hour window between 10:00 and 11:00 and didn't arrive until a little after 11:30, but they made up for it with a discount as well as the care that they took with my furniture and their impressive speed. They are very skilled at moving furniture both carefully and efficiently. They even managed to carry my very heavy upright piano down a steep set of stairs without injuring themselves or harming the piano. They were very fair with the price, too.
