COVID-19 Review The…read moreshowroom is easy to get too, parking isn't that great. There are a few parking spaces that run along the front of the store, but you most likely may have to park along the side streets. The showroom is large, and easy to navigate, especially during this COVID-19 time. My husband and I appreciated it. We walked around and looked at the various fireplaces and setups. We were then directed to an employee, Faye. She is a Hearth Design Specialist. She answered our questions, and gave us a card to one of their general contractors that they recommend. She gave us very useful information, more than the fireplace stores had told us. Things such as, we would need a contractor to build the frame, where the new fireplace would go. Other stores told us they would just pull out the old fireplace, and put in the new one. NO, we need to make sure that the frame would actually work for the new fireplace. Having a contractor is a must. We did further research, and yeppers, Faye was right. The employees are very nice. They know what they are doing, what they are talking about. It's easy to move around the showroom, with plenty of products to look at. They will answer your questions too. Will we be going back, most likely, after all of this COVID-19 is under control. Helpful people, nice store, knowledgeable too. Thanks!

We can't say enough great things about Shawn and Guerreros Contracting and the work that he and his…read morecrew did for us! We did a complete remodel and addition to our home that included adding a laundry room, mudroom, butlers pantry and creating a sunroom from our back patio. Shawn also tiled our existing bathroom and ran electrical all throughout our basement. He also added a gas line to our BBQ and electrical to our dog house and did some duct work in our basement for our new laundry room. When he completed our sunroom, he matched the stonework and siding to our existing home. What I appreciate most about Shawn is that he keeps us posted as the project moves forward and he wants us to sign off before moving on so that we are all on the same page. He truly cares about our satisfaction and if we are unhappy with something, he works with us to try and correct the issue. He's very easy to talk to and is a genuinely nice guy. Shawn is also very affordable. He's honest about his pricing and doesn't have any hidden costs. If we want to add something more than we discuss it before moving forward. We always knew where we stood with costs and he doesn't gouge pricing and stays true to his quotes. Shawn also stands behind his work. We had a split unit installed in our sunroom for AC & heating and the unit that my husband and I ordered was not the best quality. Turns out the parts are of poor quality and the unit started leaking water. We called Shawn since he installed it and came back to correct the problem at no cost. We've really struggled to find honest contractors through the years. We are truly grateful to feel like we found someone in Shawn that we can trust and is capable of doing a grand scope of projects for a reasonable price. We plan to use Guerreros Contracting for all our future projects and we highly recommend Shawn and his company.

Due to some bad design by the builder our home in Castle Rock depends on our fireplace to balance…read morethe heat between the upstairs and downstairs. Last week my daughter smelled gas and shut it off. When I got home I used my leak detector and got an alarm on the fireplace. I do a lot of home repairs but I don't mess with anything gas so I went to the Lennox web site and contacted the two local dealers for service. NYNEX declined stating that they didn't work on fireplaces so I made an appointment with Summit Heating from Parker. The experience with Summit was very bad and essentially they left without fixing anything. I declined to pay as well. Several other businesses in Denver and Colorado Springs were contacted and all said they couldn't show up until January. Given that we absolutely NEED the fireplace I kept shopping and found Guerreros on Yelp. Their technician, I believe it was Jordan, arrived on time this afternoon and got right to work. He removed the old blower, installed the new blower and troubleshot the gas leak. He was stunned that Summit had missed a pinhole leak in the appliance gas supply line. It was so bad you could hear the outgassing and see the leak. See photos. He installed a new line and then cleaned the burner, amended the venting, tuned it and cleaned the glass. All and all he took about an hour to resolve all our issues. My home is warm again and we are very pleased to have found them and give them our highest recommendation.

Do Not Hire - Disrespect, Poor Workmanship, and Broken Promises…read more We hired Fireplace Solutions and Services for a $37,000 fireplace remodel, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Although, in general, the fireplace does look good from afar, as you get closer anyone will notice the inconsistency and lack of workmanship. Especially for a project at this price point. Note: We did use very large format tile (4'x9') but this was communicated to their whole team multiple times. The project finished on time (2 weeks) but was clearly rushed. Our biggest complaint was about the hearth installation. It was the last thing to get done and was rushed leaving uneven and chipped tiles, untooled caulk between the floor and tile, grout haze, and some other minor items. Also, I raised concerns about the original thermostat placement three different times and was told it wouldn't be an issue. It now reads 16 degrees higher than the rest of the room. Although it was moved when they came back that day - see below - it has left a drywall patch that I now need to take care of. The owner (Steve) initially seemed helpful and agreed that all the issues needed fixing. A crew came back but spent just 2 hours doing cosmetic cover-ups. They left a bad drywall patch, didn't recaulk, and left even more grout hazed than the first time. When I followed up, the owner (Steve) completely changed his tone. On the phone, he told me "All you guys do is keep b***hing" and called my wife and I ungrateful. Since then, he's ignored all my calls and texts. I've only asked for partial reimbursement for the bad drywall patch and damaged hardwood floor -- and have heard nothing back. (They damaged the floor by dropping a tile). Now I am left covering these costs and possibly redoing the entire hearth at my own cost. This company showed total disrespect, dishonesty, and poor workmanship for us as clients. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Also, I told them the brand of boiler when I called, and they sent a technician who had never worked on this brand before. The technician felt bad that he was charging me for nothing and tried to get the trip charge waived, but the Precise office said no. So they get two stars instead of one because the tech was trying to make up for his company's poor policy.
