We have been coming to A Dog Refined since Olie was a puppy and we love it! He even gets crazy excited when we are a block away. They are very reasonable and he always gets the best cuts from them. They also get his white fur so white and shiny. Today he came home with the cutest tie read more

I brought my dog to this grooming place, and they practically shaved her bald!! I have a micro mini yorkie and I wanted a puppy cut. I went to get her up and she looked like a little rat! I was so upset and they said that was the puppy cut! The staff there was not polite. I would not recommend this grooming place at all! read more

This was my first time trying this groomer. I was impressed from the moment I stepped foot in this place. It's extremely clean, and the staff was very friendly. They took notes on what I wanted Toby's haircut to look like. And bot did they did deliver!! He has never looked so pretty. Even his feet are trimmed perfectly. I will definitely be taking him back here next time. I highly recommend this salon. They truly care about their customers and clients. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Toby! read more

Very dissatisfied with this place right by my house so I wanted convenience but when they called me an hour later to tell me my big dog was ready I knew that he did not get the treatment that I paid for!!!!! No one has ever got my 110 pound Rottweiler done in an hour when I picked him up and look like he wasn't even clean was so angry to waste all of that money!!!!!!! --------- Cant seem to reply to comment you just made but i got the right place !!!!! I just remembered today to write the review because I've been so busy at the hospital and work when I drove by and saw your place it hit me that I needed to voice my opinion!!!!! Payton will never be back, Thanks read more

I brought my best buddy Vinny, a 10-year-old black labradoodle, in today for a grooming. Bottom line...absolutely wonderful, skilled, professional people did an awesome job bathing and trimming the best looking and sweetest dog in the entire world...and actually made him look even better! It's hard to believe someone could improve upon perfection but they did and Vinny and I are completely satisfied. If you love your dog and need a groomer, here is my "go to" choice...A Dog refined. Thank you!!!! read more

We switched groomers after moving homes. This place was able to get me in on a cancellation, which I appreciated. They are very nice, and seemed kind to my little guy as well. The grooming job was pretty good. They listened to my guidelines, but left a couple of uneven spots and 1 small matted spot. However, the experience was good enough to return for sure. read more

I would not recommend . Paid $65 the worst place I've ever taken my dog. Apparently they don't know how to groom a American Eskimo. Owner said I should have showed them a picture of what I wanted. I really should have read the reviews all of them before taking my dog in . read more

Fast, friendly, and accommodating! I called to make a last minute appointment and they had an opening same day. They took great care of Jax who was done in just under an hour while I ran some errands. They even gave him the nicest little blue tie which was such a nice surprise. Will be back again and again! Thanks! read more

The ladies at A Dog Refined were SO sweet with my one year old Maltipoos. My dogs were in and out in two hours, i appreciated that a lot. When we first arrived the "head groomer" sat on the floor with my two dogs and played with them because they were scared- how kind is that? I love this place and definitely will recommend to all! read more

We have a Soft-coated Wheaten, who needs a regular hair cut because they have hair instead of fur. We have been to many groomers - and found A Dog Refined to be the best... They are kind to the dogs and professional with the owners. read more

Best groomers in North Phoenix! Incredibly accommodating, and usually can get my dog, Roxy, in on the same day. They're super caring, and she always comes home smelling so fresh - and shed-free! Highly recommend! read more

Hands down, the best grooming our Goldendoodle has ever had. The sweetest employees, and super accommodating. When I picked her up, I didn't have to ask for anything to be fixed regarding her haircut. Price was right, too! The shop had a non-dog scent (smelled good!), and a very cozy & inviting environment. I felt like she was well cared for, like she was their own. Super impressed with A Dog Refined. Nice job, guys!! We will be back! read more

I took my golden doodle here last week and they did an exceptional job! He was pretty badly matted and had a leg injury. They shaved him down and said he was a really good boy! My dog was happy and relaxed when I picked him up and he looked great! They were even able to salvage some fur on his face so he wasn't completely naked! We will definitely be returning and the location is so convenient right off the 101. read more

Place smelled like dog urine, looked like they didnt change the water bowl for days, walked in then walked out, place didnt sit well, the lady on the in the front was to busy arguing on the phone to even notice me or that i had a few questions. read more

This place always treats our dog with great care, is timely and gives us a final product that we asked for.

Thank you for being gentle & friendly with my dog Scruffy. He loves his haircut! We will be coming back soon!

Best dog grooming place in the valley! I have always been nervous about cutting my dogs nails because they are black and hard to see, but Julia made me feel so comfortable and was very informative about the overall grooming procedure that I feel that I found my new place. I would highly recommend taking your pup here. Amazing and friendly service where they treat your fur babies just like their own! read more

This place is great!!!! I mistakenly called a different groomer but I really wanted my dog to come here as I heard they are great with anxious dogs. The manager came out and spoke with me and even though they don't take appointments at the time I came on that day, they still took him! When we picked him up they even gave us an overview of how he did. He looks great! They did exactly what I asked for and even corrected me about the type of grooming he needed which I was grateful for the advice. I will absolutely be bringing my dog back here as they really put him at ease. Thank you for your great customer service, you now have a life long customer :) also they all wore masks and I love their social distancing measures. read more

Our girls Daisy and Hazel always look fabulous after their groom! They also get so excited to go!

We have been taking our 3 fur babies here since we moved out here from Iowa. We have tried a few other places but always end up going back. I really like the location being that it is so close to my home. The prices are about the same as anywhere else that we have gone out here in AZ. They really do their best at getting the dogs done quickly. The only reason why we stepped back from going there for a bit was because it seemed like there was a lot of turnover and the consistency of the grooming just wasn't there. We would always have to have them fix something when we picked the dogs up. The last few times have been great though. Being that we travel back to Iowa often and my cousin owns a grooming place back there we have been taking dogs in to her when we visit. But we definitely will be retuning here when dogs need groomed. read more

Go here!!! We've been in an RV for the last 10 weeks so our dog needed the works. She was a mess! Debra, the groomer at a Dog Refined, did the most amazing job on her. The cut...perfect! Ears cleaned, nails trimmed, paws beautiful! Plus the service was outstanding. I couldn't ask for anything more. read more

I took my dog in and they shaved his butt bald, which was unnecessary to begin with, but then made no attempt to fade in/blend the rest of the hair. He looks absolutely ridiculous, since he is a long-haired dog. He was matted, since he was long overdue from COVID and playing in the baby pool; but they could have easily used a 4 or 5 blade, and then blended, so that he didn't look so absurd . read more

This place is AMAZING! they staff is so warm and friendly. Our dogs can be picky about people but they LOVED the staff. The groomer even gave me style advice for my pups! When we came to pick our dogs up they were so happy and gorgeous! I was more excited about how they looked then when I had my hair done! I will definitely be making regular appointments here. read more

HIGHLY recommend. My dog hates getting her nails done. These ladies changed her. They are so loving.

My husband and I had to find a different place besides petsmart to get our dog a bath. We bathe her frequently on our own, but will still do a professional bath every couple months to help with her coat as she is a golden doodle and mats very easily. I have driven by a dog refined so many times, and finally decided to try it. Nala had a great bath and is still smelling clean after a week! She was happy going in and coming out. Whenever we took her to petsmart she was terrified going in which I didn't love. We will be back, thank you! read more

This was our first time bringing our furry friends here. We have 3 dogs. A Doberman, a beagle mix, and a Brussels griffin mix. We stopped by to see if they could do a nail cut on the three of them. So we brought them in. The place we super clean! Smelled wonderful! And the ladies were extremely nice! They did a great job on my difficult dogs and didn't complain at all. We will be returning every time we need grooming and nails done now! Thank you so much ladies!!! Shannon Miller Kyra Cloie Sadie And soon to be Rhetta read more
