I stopped by without my dog just to talk with Shirley about the situation, and she willingly offered to have me bring him in a couple of times just to meet her and become familiar before even scheduling a grooming appointment. We did this twice, and it made ALL the difference. She also recommended a great harness for him when I wanted to switch out of a collar. It's the only place I've taken him since. For the past couple of years, I've been feeding Pierre from PetWants, a mixture of the chicken, lamb, and salmon recipes. He liked it better than the typical store-bought kinds, but I brought home a small amount of each of the 4 main Barketplace recipes tonight after talking with Shirley and Jeff about it, and he not only ate the first serving in a matter of minutes, but wanted more even AFTER his teeth cleaning "dessert" treat. That has NEVER happened. And then the second serving was gone just as quickly as the first. Shirley, Jeff, and Chris are simply the best - they take care of my little guy as if her were their own, and this new food experience means it's the only place I'll go for ALL the things he needs from now on!

I (unlike the shop owner and the 'groomer') have no reason to lie. The pictures show only the visible part of the damage. The permanent damage to his trachea, his knee and front leg/shoulder cannot be seen except on X-rays. The emotional damage and PTSD is an everyday thing and I'm still working at a snails pace, gentling him back into grooming. He doesn't shake as much as he did at first but it's still awful for him. These people are monsters, and the 'groomer', Cassidy...I don't know this person, never met her before, but I do know that she has absolutely no business dealing with animals. Shame on you people! Dropped off my Pom for basic grooming with Cassidy. Instead of a well groomed fluffy happy Pomeranian, I picked up a very quiet little Pom with The entire bottom half of guard hairs cut off, you can see his skin through the undercoat that is left. He was abused in a manner that caused his trachea to partially collapse with improper use of the grooming loop. Cassidy caused his front right leg to no longer have full range of motion, and a luxating patella (his right rear leg), repaired with no issues for ten years, is knocked out of place as a result of the 'grooming' he received from Cassidy. The owner was rude, accused me of lying. Cassidy lied. Another employee there lied. Owner was physically very threatening, approaching me quickly several times stopping inches from my face, so close his spit got on my face as he yelled at me. Of that's the sort of thing you are looking for, you're going to absolutely LOVE this place!

Normally it costs well over $100 for a doodle grooming, but I paid around $65 for the grooming (bath, trim, nails), it was more with a tip of course but they were wonderful so absolutely deserved! She said they switched from a computer system to whatever they have now, which would be fine if they transferred over all the information correctly. She did offer to rebook us for this past Saturday but when we called on Thursday and Friday to confirm the booking, she wouldn't even answer the phone. For two days. Friday, we called and scheduled an appointment with another groomer because we're tired of getting the run around from this lady, and needless to say but we didn't come in for our appointment on Saturday because of her lack of response and her failure to call us to confirm our appointment as well. We received no phone call, no text and no email asking us to confirm but we wanted to call to make sure nothing happened with both our appointments. So once he is good and dirty and shedding another dog, I bring him in and we end up with a new dog!! Kidding aside we have tried other places and we can not beat how he is treated.
