His long fur was trimmed everywhere except his head, lower legs, and the tip of his tail. The groomer even managed to trim his belly and bottom, both of which are very difficult areas (cats normally do NOT like to be touched there). The short trim was even and silky smooth!! I was AMAZED by how quickly the groomer finished in less than an hour, considering that my cat tends to scratch and bite whenever I try to trim his claws. I was surprised that nail trimming is included with the Lion Cut--free of charge! Very professional. Was able to book an appointment right away. Cats must come in the morning before the dogs arrive. Prices here are unbeatable (I only paid $40 plus tip) for the quality and expertise of the technicians at Puppy Le Peu!! Very pleased with the service and this will be the only place I will be sending my Kitty from now on.

Customer service really needs to be assessed especially when I say "okay I'll give you a call back, have a good day" and get straight hung up on with nothing said.

This place was different -one sweetheart of a groomer, nice quiet location, and very reasonable price. Katie was the best- she did a nice job relatively quickly at around 2 hours each dog. It wasn't like other places that had so many dogs barking in cages and hairdryers going, you could not even hear anything- must be horrible for the pups too. This place was calm, quiet and definitely kept our pups calmer too. Will definitely return.

The most HORRIBLE experience ever!!! I will never bring my golden retriever back here. I was…read morereferred here and did see all the wonderful reviews, however, my experience was the polar opposite!! First they said they had a 4:00 on Friday, 10/9 (mind you it's a holiday weekend) so I said oh great that's perfect! I get there and asked if she can trim my golden and especially her butt area as it was a bit too fluffy. She went on to tell me for 15 mins that she couldn't do that and why she wouldn't do that as she stated the hair won't grow back the same and she needs it to protect her. I literally just asked for a simple trim that's all! So I left my dog there and was told to be back at 5:30 that she'll be done! I get a call at 5:10 saying she's going to need more time so be there for 6:00pm instead. On my way to pick her up I get the 2nd call saying they can not finish my dog. They only shampooed her and couldn't even dry her because my dog was being difficult & scared ... this is a sweet little golden retriever 2 & 1/2 y/o. She's the friendliest dog ever!! I asked "So she's not finished and I will be taking a wet dog home"? How unprofessional!! You have one job and you handle all kinds of dogs everyday and you cannot handle a small golden? So Unreal!! The owner got really rude blaming my dog!! What it seemed was they were super overwhelmed and was way past there time to be open! Don't book appts at 4:00 if you cannot finish the job!! Again... This is your business and you have ONE job. They charged my $30 for a shampoo and nail trim which when I got home, checked her nails... they were not even trimmed I think you need to rethink your life choices and find a new career!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Worst experience ever!!!

After having issues with Petsmart grooming, I tried Auntie's Pet Spa in Albion (next to the post…read moreoffice) today during my lunch break to trim Riley's nails. Riley played the role of 'snippy little terrier'. The groomer came out to the waiting room to do them there first, but we quickly decided it was better up on a table. We did have to muzzle her. They let me put the muzzle on Riley, which was totally drama free. SO simple and easy and once it was on, they tightened it properly, got her up on the table, and literally a minute later, all her nails were cut AND dremeled! She was totally cool once up on the table. They did a wonderful job and gave her a 'pup cup' afterwards, which I had the groomer give to her, which she devoured. $15, walk in (nails only!!). The place was nice and open, it was clean, they absolutely had Riley's best interest in mind. 5 stars, two thumbs up! We'll be back in a month for sure! Parking is normally behind the building, but School St is being ripped up right now (10/25), so maybe call to ask for the best place to park? I parked at Albion park and walked down.
