A couple weeks later the air conditioner needed so tweaking and they had a guy out the same day to make the adjustment. Everything went great. The staff is very professional and thorough. For all the senior citizens who can't live without air conditioning DON'T be fooled. My unit's original capacitor lasted 8 year... the one they replaced that with last just 14 months... of course the warranty is only for 1 year. SO, over a $19 part, they have lost a customer and now everyone will know the scam. I was told by multiple people it should have been $490 to $560... but I was going to catch a break... This industry needs regulations placed on them. People need A/C and ripping them with over a $400 profit margin is ridiculous. I honestly don't know how they sleep at night... I will never call them again. I ordered a capacitor on Amazon for less than $20 and replacing it is simple...My advise... CALL A DIFFERENT COMPANY... unless they are all operating this way... very sad what society has come to. THEN there is the up sale... need a surge protector - I shut that down quickly... WE have a whole home surge protection package from the energy company. BUT OF COURSE, that one isn't sufficient. I know it is hot, and we will pay to make the A/C work.
