What Jess brings to the table is something more, which was a genuine concern for my child. On one of our conversatios she said " I went on this run and I was thinking about"... she was thinking about my kid and how to help. She made me feel like we ( we because as parents, things that affect our kids affect us) were "seen." I think more often than not people get complacent in their careers, including the medical or mental health field, which I would chalk up to human nature. However, she never made me feel like my kid was number or just another patient. She was someone going through something and Jess was going to figure it out. We had to stop seeing Jess due to some circumstances out of my control. Which only lead us to a merry go round of therapists and it wasn't until then, that I was able to fully appreciate her, not only for her emotional investment in my child but also for her instincts, which were proven to be spot on. While on that mental health merry go round, I learned that not every therapist has the capability to convey a genuine sense of commitment and concern for their client/patient , however Jess did. Taking on someone else's emotional pain, trauma, anxieties and fears has to be one of the hardest jobs I could imagine, especially when it comes to children...so I can understand having and internal shut off valve and not fault anyone needing to enact that protective mechanism. But as a parent who's child hurts....I sure as shit want someone who sees my kid, as I see them. Once again I saw Jess early in her career. Not only do I magine that she has gotten better with time but I imagine now that she has her own practice, she chooses people who values their clients as much as she does. ...I did recently refer someone here and they had positive reviews about Jess, Teena and the facility.

He didn't do any real formal testing just parent reports and observations. He did not consider Lyme disease, PANS/PANDAS. He claimed those were controversial diagnosis. We got a second opinion and it turned out my son does have an autoimmune disease (confirmed by medical doctors and an abundance of lab results) and once that was being treated most symptoms went away. The remaining characteristics were aligned with being gifted, another alternative that Hopebridge's doctor ignored but was later confirmed by a formal evaluation. If I had listened to their report and allowed my son to be misdiagnosed he would not be thriving like he is right now. I am a BCBA and I would never recommend this company for diagnostics.

Just know that if you go here, THEY ONLY PROVIDE ABA, which is contrary to their contract and website. I filed a grievance, and they discharged my son completely, saying he is done??? He did not get an exit evaluation by the psychologist. When I had brought this to their attention, they went ahead and graduated my son from ABA. He still has yet to receive feeding therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy . He is not ready at all. This discharge comes less than a month after I filed a grievance about them not providing said services..

The situation was so traumatic for him that he doesn't even want to speak about it with his family or therapists. His mom and family were also traumatized as she could hear him begging for his mom when she ran in the door. This child is verbal and not aggressive as he tends to isolate himself when he is upset. The providers here handled a child's crisis in the worst way possible. Children deserve better- especially children who need help and care and expect to get it at a center made to help them.

We had the initial intake in mid September 2017, started ABA by late November 2017. We have been here about 11 months, and the changes in our kid's behavior have changed so drastically for the better! It is important to note that many of the therapist here have been around for a while. The turnover is quite low- therapist usually only leaving because their studies are complete and are moving back home or to a bigger city for employment. The receptionist is very lovely and a very welcoming face for CARD. When schedule changes are needed on our end, the office manger almost always helps us find a solution. Keeping the line of communication open here is VERY helpful. Couldn't be happier with the progress the kiddo has made. Have also made some (hopefully life long) adult friends here.

I had come in for my simple depo shot and was put through phone tag(absolutely no communication in the front office and back office). Had to pick up my prescription after days of calling, WHICH I HAD NEVER DONE BEFORE. Came in for the shot with a medical assistant who didn't know what the she was doing. Looked completely confused when I told her I usually don't have my shot in the arm. When she did my shot in the back, I fainted immediately because it was so so painful. I woke up on the floor disoriented, sweating and in pain. I had hit my head, woke up with extreme bruises. I was alone for minutes until she came back with her manager. The med assistant made me feel like it was my fault for fainting. Made me feel bad for having a migraine(I just hit my head because of her???). She took no responsibility whatsoever, there were no apologies or sympathy! The manager checked on us, gave me a granola bar and the assistant waved her away saying it was fine. I went to the bathroom to cry and wash my face while I was completely disoriented and scared. Came out to find that the assistant who hurt me, left me. And was told I was fine to go. I drove home sobbing and scared, my head hurting. Me and my husband went back expecting an apology or to be refunded for the appointment where I was hurt badly and scarred. Only to play phone tag again with the manager, she took no responsibility and was not sympathetic or kind. My husband was so upset by my treatment and went in to get answers only to be threatened by the manager, saying that she would call the police. ABSOLUTELY DISRESPECTFUL TREATMENT FOR AN UPSET PATIENT. After working in the healthcare field, I have NEVER seen that treatment before. From the first visit, I should have known it was going to be awful. The front office person making my appointment misspelled the names of all the members of my family without bothering to ask for clarification (yes I did phonetically spell the names btw, no idea how she got them so wrong). EVERY SINGLE TIME we needed a prescription, they were not called in or called in incorrectly. The office would blame the pharmacy, who has never over the course of years made these kind of mistakes when working with other doctor's offices. Today, the office manager let me know that they don't plan on refilling my husband's life saving medication, leaving him with only 3 weeks worth of doses to find a new primary care physician. Apparently they require bloodwork every 6 WEEKS for a medication that he has had dialed in for 2 years, which his endocrinologist only required bloodwork for every 6 MONTHS. This is 100% a money grab and I am planning on reporting this office to the medical board. Every single thing I said to the office manager, she either said I misunderstood or claimed they hadn't told me. She also flatly refused to let me speak to my own doctor via phone. I have never dealt with someone who was worse at communication, or taking accountability. This office is an embarrassment to the medical profession. Meanwhile, my husband is left with no access to a medication that he worked hard to dial in over the last 2 years, and he gets extremely ill when he is not on it.
