DO NOT GET YOUR NIPPLES PIERCED HERE! I got my nipples pierced here on my birthday and he pierced them with a curved bar, that was a size smaller than the normal jewelry size so I could wear any jewelry from stores. Yes I could order some but no piercing should be under a 16 below the face. You're nipples cannot heal if you have a CURVED bar in them!! I've had several piercings all over and know how to treat them but my nipples never fully healed after a year or so. Please for your own good get them pierced somewhere else ! I even asked him they were supposed to be so small and he just shook it off.. waste of 40 bucks :-( read more

Loved it! This was my first piercing (exempting my earlobes). I just filled out some paperwork, choose my jewelry, and 5 minutes later, all done! My belly button piercing looks perfect and I only paid $25 to have it done with a beautiful piece of jewelry. James was funny and made the experience painless. I went here yesterday to get my septum pierced. I had no appointment, however after filling out paperwork (which only took a few minutes) I was in the back chair ready to get pierced. The staff is great at what they do and know a lot about both piercings and tattoos. The worker who pierced me explained each step he was doing, and did the work fast and efficiently. He also took interest in talking to me and even looked at my tattoo I'm not happy with (which I got somewhere else) and told me he could do a coverup. The piercing was only $20 and it looks awesome! Had a dermal done here as well as had it removed and the whole process was super professional and informative. Prior to getting the dermal (on my finger) James was made sure to educate me on the chances of it rejecting or tearing out. Of course I still chose to do it after seeing a super cute pic of it somewhere and honestly I just wanted to pierce something out of the ordinary that day. Fast forward 5+ months and it just never healed and always looked agitated cause I'm just a generally rough person and constantly snagged it on fences, playing with my animals etc. Ended up getting it removed and James kept good conversation to distract me talked me through the process and didn't get offended when I cussed out loud a few times. It's been a week since the removal and it's healing beautifully. I'll definitely be back soon for a piercing that better suits my lifestyle. I have been going to James over the past year getting all my piercings done and some repiercings(this included both nipples) he is always quick and efficient. If I ask questions he always answers. I think that people forget that it's a walk in shop as well as appointment based. It gets busy. Sometimes the people that run the counters seem as some reviewers have said seem bored or rude, but in this line of work it's constantly evolving, busy and perhaps the same questions over and over. Just like any job, it just may be a bad day. But when asked what's up or how's it going usually you get an honest response. Humor goes along way. I have been there at varied times during different days and I don't always expect bubbly and happy, but I have always gotten clean and professional service for the good price. This tattoo shop was so professional and friendly! I came in with my sister so she could get one of her first body piercings. We felt so at ease with the service. As soon as we walked in, we loved the bohemian vibe of the shop and the extremely friendly staff! The piercer was very calm and so friendly, even at the end of a long day. A friend and I walked in sat afternoon without an appointment for a tattoo. They were available to take us with 20 mins and priced the tattoo we both wanted at a reasonable price. Much cheaper than another well known tattoo shop we had just came from that was trying to charge us double the price. We were both done within an hour after they brought us back in the chair. I've never had a piercing before and today me and two of my friends decided to get our noses pierced. None of us had ever been here and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. James was super nice and made me feel comfortable. The piercing was super fast. Everyone says it's like a pinch and it really was. So they probably do fine work, but when I came in with my daughter (who wanted the piercing) the staff took forever to acknowledge us-- and did so by raising eyebrows expectantly after a minute vs. a greeting and/or smile. When I explained why we were there (!) a guy kinda shoved some paperwork accross the counter and told me the places to sign and that he needs my ID, no smile, no nicety, no nothin'. I tried to be friendly to elicit some in return; I introduced myself and asked him if he was the piercer, or...? He said he was (and all but yawned), someone else said, "that's the owner!" I looked him in the eye and told him I wanted my little daughter to have a great experience (hint hint) and only then did he say hello to her. Then he quickly went away without further word. I went here because I had to get a dermal removed. After 7 years it was starting to naturally reject. I was told it was my fault because I wasn't wearing the jeweled top for it and that's why. (Little did he know the base was semi stripped and besides that every time I wore the jewel top it would irritate it more before it fell out.) he didn't even listen to me when I went to explain that. He had a more difficult time removing my dermal and of all 4 I've had removed in my life it was the most painful. I don't know if it's because he made me feel so dumb by not listening to me and telling me what I was doing wrong even though he had no idea, or because he had to cut rip and pull my skin so much to get the stripped dermal base out. He held great friendly conversation with the girls getting work done before me, which made me feel even more uncomfortable when he was so short and cold towards me. I've been to a lot of different shops and had many kinds of work and modifications done and removed and this was by far one of the more uncomfortable times. read more

Went in tonight for my septum. Was in and out within 20 minutes as a walk in which was great! I loved the piercer! This is my third piece from him and they are always straight. He works fast once doing the piercing so I really didn't feel much till I was on my way out and my body really registered it. His work area was clean. I explained that on my last piercing I passed out so he made sure to pay close attention and had candy and water at hand! The one down fall of my visit and why I'm not giving 5 stars is because when he sent me to the front lady to get my cleaning salt and cleaning instructions.. she literally said "you know how to make the salt solution?" I said yes because I've had previous piercings-but never my nose. She then proceeded to nod toss the salt at me and walk away before I could ask anything else which honestly really pissed me off so I just left. Great place but wtf was that. read more

I didn't even get to use the services provided here, and I will never, simply because of a smart remark that I received over the phone. I am not from Medford, and was in town for the day. I have been trying to get an old piercing re-pierced. I have been unable to because I live in a small town, and our only shop is closed on Sundays. I figured, being Medford, there must be somewhere to get this done on a Sunday. I was thrilled when I discovered that this place is open on Sundays. When I called to see if I needed an appointment, I was told that piercings are walk-in only, BUT if I was looking to get pierced, they do not offer that service on Sundays. I made a completely random comment that I was bummed because it was my only day off, to which the person on the phone snottily replied, "yeah, well it's their only day off too." They could have just nicely said anything, no reason to be rude. I will definitely look elsewhere for a business that values their potential customers. read more
