I called A Better Door Company as I was impressed by the outstanding reviews on YELP. Well, I'm glad I did! Sergey was able to walk me through troubleshooting the problem which was an aging door opener issue over the telephone. Sergey suggested replacing my Chamberlain LiftMaster Professional belt drive 2005 vintage with a newer Chamberlain LiftMaster chain drive Model 8160atavery reasonable price of $675! A scheduled visit the following morning, Sergey installed the new unit and even tightened one of the springs for better door balance. He also inspected my other opener located on the other garage door. Sergey lubricated all of the panel door hinges, rollers, and springs with Clopay Garage Door Pro Lube as this product is far superior than the Blaster Garage Door Lube that I had been using for years because it adheres to the hardware and doesn't run off like the silicone Blaster product! Our garage spring broke and I used Yelp to get quotes from multiple companies and Sergey had one of the best quotes, was very responsive, and had good reviews so I went with him. He came within hours and was able to get the springs replaced very quickly (less than 1 hour). He lubricated all the rollers, springs, and rails so it was smooth and quiet. He even fixed the light bulb socket that had burned out so now I have light again. One word of advice is when you have one broken spring, make sure you ask to quote replacing both of them, since it is wise to replace the other spring while everything is apart.
