Probably not going to win any customer service awards any time soon. The facility was clean and nice, with roll up doors. They by far have the lowest price on a 10x20' unit at $89/month! And it is right on the sign, so you know they probably don't change the prices often. Also, the sign at the gate says 17' truck Maximum!

I was unsuccessful contacting this location, on hold indefinitelyI then back a second time, and got to speak with a representative. Representative seemed very rushed, which is understandable because this location is pretty busy. However, I'm not gonna be able to rent a trailer from this location even though a trailer showing available online. There problem, it seems is that this site has trailers, but none of the accessories they require to rent me one. The store, it seems, is not capable of putting on a trailer hitch. Curious. I always get a trailer hitch when renting from other locations. In addition, the car that I am transporting has oversize tires, requiring that I provide my own "tiedowns" (which they sell for an additional cost. Out of tie downs. If you go to U-Haul, and can't rent a trailer because they can't provide you a trailer hitch or tiedowns, sometimes not doing their job.

Never use uhaul. They bait and switch you every time to get you in something more expensive.read more

After filing a police report and filing a claim, I was told they would not reimburse me for missing items. Apparently in order for your things to go missing, there needs to be physical evidence of a break in. But when your lock is cut by CubeSmart for being "improperly installed" and they replace the lock, chances are they will wait 6 months to tell you that they cut it. (Yes, this happened to me.) Who knows how long it was left unsecured? Who knows if the people who cut the lock took stuff while it was open? It won't matter, it's your fault that your stuff is missing. I knew what was in my storage, and somehow it just disappeared with a known time where it was unsecured by CubeSmart personnel. Renters beware! This improperly resolved issue gives this place a 1 star review.

So they get an A for being security conscious, but an F for the execution and attitude. One other note, they have their own special types of locks, so be prepared to pay $20 + a security deposit to get one. That right there was a deal breaker for me...I have so many locks, if I buy one more my wife is going to kill me.

When I told the guy they were on the high side, he went into a spiel of which none of it made any sense to me. It just struck me as odd that instead of doing what every other storage manager does(matching or beating the competition's price) he tried to sell me on points that were no different than any other place. So when I saw that this place has 34 filtered reviews and only one legitimate review...it started to make sense. Writing fake reviews is unethical and is a good indicator to steer clear of this place. I would give them a one star, but the facility did look well maintained. And when I asked about the truck, it was not free. He said it was half the regular monthly rate of the storage unit. That didn't make sense either. So you are going to pay more for the truck if you put more stuff in it, not based on mileage? I mean that is great if you are moving your stuff from Albuquerque, but not so great if you are cleaning out your garage less than a mile away! Maybe he just didn't like me. Probably because I'm too sexy for my shirt. So sexy it hurts.
