Daniel is the fourth dog walker we've had since getting our pup seven years ago (all due to moves).

Prospect Bark has been a gift! I recently started bringing my puppy, Tucci, for daycare, and the…read morelevel of care he receives is truly exceptional. The team is incredibly warm, thorough, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every dog who walks through their door. What I love most is that their philosophy of dog care mirrors high-quality child care -- attentive, structured, and deeply compassionate. It aligns perfectly with the kind of love and care that I give Tucci at home, which makes it easy to trust them and feel safe sending him there. One of my favorite parts of the day is receiving the photos and videos they send. It's clear from every update that Tucci is happy, engaged, and in great hands. He loves it there! I am so grateful to have Prospect Bark in the neighborhood. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, joyful, and nurturing place for their pup.

Hello! I wanted to kindly remind this business that it is illegal to perform "working interviews"…read morewithout compensation. Working interviews are legally considered trial employment, which requires at least minimum wage. When asked by a prospective employee if this will be a paid trial, the owner responded to them saying that if that matters to them, the job probably won't work out. Aside from legally, that's pretty morally gross. Especially in the current job market. Nobody should be expected to work for free, even if that job involves hanging out with dogs! Dogs are great. We love our dog. We love him so much, we even feed him! Which is hard to do when being denied pay for labor. Just something for this business to consider changing moving forward, and maybe something prospective employees and clientele should be aware of.

My son got Gracie, who is a pitti, as a rescue a year ago. She is a young strong dog, about 60lbs…read more My husband is retired and he watches her while my son works. We live in a large old Brooklyn apt building. The halls are narrow and the elevator can be full. There are times when Gracie will react strongly with some of the neighbors. This behavior is unpredictable. A lot of people don't like and are unfamiliar with dogs. They will stare at Gracie, and she is at 100 is ferocious. She is scary. That is a very uncomfortable and unwelcome situation and dangerous too. A dog like Gracie needs to be trained and we need to be trained too. We hired Gabriel to help us to understand how to work with Gracie. Over the year, we have had him come to our building and work with us 4x. It has been enormously helpful. He has helped us to work on specific things, like distraction by way of side pulling with the leash (never pulling back!), breaking her concentration on the one person, that is causing Gracie to go ballistic, with a gentle side pull, a circle away from the stimulus and a sharp noise that get her attention away from the stimulus. The goal is de escalate and it works! Having Gabriel work with us has helped us to gain the confidence necessary to work with our sweet charcoal gray Gracie. We will have come over again for a refresher session. Everyone needs a refresher. Our relationship with our dogs area always dynamic, never static, and a reminder of how to be with them is good thing. I really liked Gabriel! Services Dog training

This person could not love animals more nor be more trustworthy as far as they are concerned. She…read morehas a natural knack for communicating with dogs in particular. I had an unruly beast of a puppy when she first came along this summer. She knew right away how to keep him in behavior mode, while still being very sweet to him. She's not one of those lazy dogwalkers either, doing the minimum as many do. It is great for me as I often come home from work to a pleasantly exhausted dog. Now we've hit fall and I feel like I have a much more manageable creature to return home to after a long day of work. In addition to being one of the more trustworthy and honest people I have ever hired in such a capacity, she's also very available and when she can't assist me, she knows who else to refer me to. Oh, and she has a way with people too - after dogsitting once, she left me a vase of flowers and a nice note on a card, reporting all the things my dog got to do while I was away. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a responsible & considerate person to trust their animal friend with.

Rebecca was great with my four cats and our dog. Our dog is a huge pit-mix and needs to be kept…read moreapart from our cats since he's quite aggressive. She had no problem handling the rules of the house in that regard. Also, our dog is a rescue - he was neglected and abused before we came across him, so he doesn't trust people readily. She was not intimidated at all and, although he was a bit wary at first, she soon buttered him up. In addition to being clear about who was the alpha, she gave him great rub-downs - after years of neglect, he really needs a lot of affection in order to trust people. She clearly had a natural grasp of canine hierarchy and dog mentality and once she got him to trust her, she even started to offer him some obedience training. He always ended up very orderly after an afternoon with her. My fiance and I were very pleased! We, and our four cats and dog, highly recommend this great dogwalker and petsitter!
