Our dog deficiency had gone on far too long so I scoured the world wide web to find our sweet, silly, Alf. We loved him instantly--he's kind, humorous, and fills our hearts with joy daily. There was no way we'd reciprocate by leaving him alone for hours on end, wondering if that noisy stinky kennel wasn't so bad after all. I called my neighbors who have a most resplendent Great Dane, figuring they'd have a resource or two, and yes, they sure did! We adopted Jack, our mixed breed terrier, 2 years ago, and honestly don't know what we would have done without Jason and the GoDoG crew. Jack was skittish, suffered from separation anxiety, was a resource guarder, and was over protective of our home from day one. For those reasons, we thought that daycare (OUTSIDE THE HOUSE) would be the right solution for Jack. And it was - for a few days. After a series of warnings, Jack was thrown out of doggie daycare after only two weeks (he was resource guarding one of the women who worked there). We were upset and unsure what to do next. We were worried that Jack would never accept a non-family member entering our apartment when we weren't home. As Jack and I did the walk of shame out of daycare that final day, the owner kindly said, "call Jason Durishin - he has a reputation for being able to work with challenging dogs". Jason and team are just the best. It took us a while to find someone we were comfortable letting into our home and taking our most prized possession away on a daily basis. But then we met Jason a year ago, and we never looked back. Our pup Keeley has been walking with his team for about 12 months now. She's a quirky rescue and had a tough time at first (to say the least) and I can't begin to explain how kind, understanding and patient Jason was in helping her get acclimated to a new neighborhood and new routine. He honestly should have fired us after that first day but he stuck around and assured me they would be best friends in no time. He was absolutely right. All of his team is equally kind hearted, easy going, and true blue. They love our girl just like we do, and it really feels like they are family now. We are about to move, and a key factor in our decision was whether or not Jason and team serviced our new block. It's at the point where the potential of losing these guys was a legitimate concern. From the very beginning Jason treated our dogs as a top priority. He took the time and care to get to know our dogs and their needs. Since they are both rescues with iffy pasts, this was very helpful for us. One of our dogs was particularly challenging, but now both dogs jump in excitement whenever they see their walkers. Word on the street is that I can review this DOGGONE great team twice! Coming up on a year of GoDoG working with my problem pup, Bayou, and I couldn't be more grateful. Jason took the two of us under his wing and it's been amazing to see the transformation in my little anxious pup. As a new dog owner, and a rescue dog with a history of biting, I had no idea how this was going to work out. But it did. Jason has remarked on how much Bayou has grown, and I have to credit the GoDoG team with some of that growth. I had to (un)fortunate pleasure of being home sick with bronchitis back in November, and kept our regularly scheduled walks. Not only did I get to meet one of the awesome GoDoG team members (shout out to Colin!!), but I got to see how excited Bayou gets when Colin arrives. He clearly loves his walks, and loves Colin. I have no idea how any other dogwalking service stays in business in the area because I can't imagine any other service being as good as GoDoG. Despite numerous bumps in the road, and many fears that Jason might have to fire us because of Bayou's issues, they have stuck with us. I couldn't do it without this great team! read more

We recently moved to Queens - and we're going to miss GoDoG as much as anything. (We know our dog, Shep is, too!) We have an erratic schedule that often changes a week or two before, and Jason and his crew were as accommodating as could be. Shep was paired up with some great friends on his walks - we loved getting photos and videos at times of their little groups! Above all else, you want people who truly care about your dog to look after him or her when you're gone. It's easy to tell Jason and his team have an absolute, genuine love for dogs - and that's the highest praise we can pay. read more

We adopted a rescue poodle a few months ago, and once we took him home we realized he had some anxiety and aggression issues. We saw Jason's yelp page and the reviews from others who have anxious doggies, so we decided to sign up Bemmy for walks. We are SO HAPPY that we did. Jason and his team (Xavier is usually Bemmy's walker) are wonderful with Bemmy. They walk him with other dogs in the neighborhood who have complementary temperaments, and the socialization is invaluable to our guy. We love to read our note every night letting us know which friends Bem walked with that day and how the walk went. And they introduced Bemmy to his girlfriend, so they're also excellent matchmakers. Jason also recommended an amazing trainer (Dani from Urban K-9) to help work on some of Bem's issues. At our second training session, Dani told us she'd seen Jason at a rescue event, and they discussed Bemmy and how they might work together to make sure Bem was getting the best possible training and care. We were so touched that they would be thinking about and discussing Bem in their off time. We feel really lucky to have Jason as part of Bem's (and our) life. read more

Still using GoDog for my now senior pup and they take great care of him even on his quirky, stubborn days. The owner works hard to find walkers that are the best match for the gig. I love coming home to the sweet notes about where my dog went, who they saw, what he did. And I feel better knowing he's been out there having fun while I'm stuck in an office. read more

Hands (and paws) down the best dog walker I've ever worked with. I have a rescue dog who is very timid around new people and from day one Jason and his crew new exactly how to work with her. Within two weeks she was greeting them at the door with hugs and kisses! Jason and the entire go dog team were always courtesy, respectful, timely, understanding and funny. It shows through the dogs excitement how much they enjoy their company and pack walks. The recap notes became the highlight of my day. GoDog is one of things I'll miss most about BK!
