GoDoG is friggin awesome. I had been hesitant to make the switch from my old service because I'd been using them since I first got Batman, and I felt loyal even though they used to majorly short me on his walk times. I'm so glad I switched! Right away, I noticed Batman no longer goes nuts when i return home from work - he's Mr. Cool, looking at me like, "Oh... it's you." He gets his full 30 min (and sometimes more!) of exercise and stimulation and Jason and Alex take care to match him up with other dogs who'd be a good fit for his rambunctious personality. They seem to genuinely care about his well-being - from filling up his bowl with fresh water and wiping down his paws after a salty walk, to urging me to switch from collar to harness so he's able to play more safely. And I love the detailed, poetic messages every day describing the fun Batman had and who his buddies are. These guys are cool and fun and truly professional. You will love. read more

Jason and his crew have walked our two chug pups for two years, and for two years, our pups have been happy, happy boys. The GoDog crew is always super friendly, flexible, efficient and caring. Our pups get a good long walk, playtime, treats and fresh water and we get a full report, daily. On the occasions when we see our dogs with any of the GoDog crew, you'd swear the pups were reuniting with long lost family. Big, sloppy pup kisses for Jason and GoDog! read more

I can't say enough about how amazing this group of people are. After I adopted Charlie as a puppy they helped immensely and cared for him as though he was their own. The hand written notes, pictures, videos and genuine enthusiasm allowed me to relax while not by my dogs side. These guys really take their time and only introduced Charlie to other dogs when they felt he was ready. They also suggested a great daycare for my dog to help him socialize with others at least once a week. Jason is a truly special human being and lucky for us he has shared his love with Charlie and I for the past six months. This best kept secret has been such a lifesaver so I must pass it along. It hurts me to say we're moving out of the neighborhood- these guys will be genuinely missed. Thank you again for everything you do!! read more

Jason and the GoDoG team have been walking our pup, Dr. Waffles, every weekday since the day we brought her home from the shelter. They've been an essential, indespensible partnership in dog ownership, and that means they've contributed hugely to the overall happiness of our family. Can't get much better than that. Jason and his folks have genuine care and affection for the dogs they walk, and because it's very personal service, they're very flexible and accomodating of special requests. When my wife and I went on a 2-week cruise, Jason agreed to have one of his walkers look in on our cats, even though that's not their wheelhouse. When I lost my housekeys and waited 3 weeks for them to be replaced, Jason and his team made do with a single set between all of us. And because he knows each dog personally (dogonally?), Jason is able to offer valuable advice and insight on pet care as well, without ever seeming like he's judging or fussing at you. Highly, highly reccomend this service. We've moving to Los Angeles soon, so there's an open spot in his client roster. Don't wait to snag it. read more

We've used GoDog since we adopted our dog, Spock, 3 years ago. They've been amazing, and we haven't considered using anyone else. Jason pairs our dog with other pups that he gets along with, and sends us notes and photos of the pack. The GoDog walkers are the best! Thoughtful, considerate, easy to communicate with, and happy, dog people. Our pitbull has some aggression issues and we're glad that we have GoDog to walk him because we trust that they're able to handle whatever comes at them. Highly recommended! read more

My wife and I work the same exact schedule, and were looking for a way to add some exercise and excitement to our rescue pups day. Simply put, Jason's GoDog was the answer. He came on a strong recommendation from my neighbor and I was able to set up a consultation with him quickly. Jason made time to meet me, my wife, and most importantly, our dog, Trixie. He has been walking her now for a month, and the experience has been great. He is flexible, friendly, professional, and a true dog lover. If your looking for a dog walker and or an opportunity to give your pup some midday excitement. Jason and his crew at GoDog are the ones to go with. read more

We love the Go Dog team! Our pup Lane adores them. She's clearly out having awesome adventures with her pack (I'm jealous). The main reason we reached out to Jason was because we really wanted Lane to have social walks. Even when we moved to a slightly less popular (at the time) Go Dog location, Jason went out of his way to find friends for Lane, even if it meant extra long walks. I love the notes and pics we get from the team. I've met several of the walkers and they are all excellent. I would recommend Jason and his team highly! read more

Jason and his team are fantastic. After a bad experience with a Brooklyn-architecture named service, we were recommended Jason by our trainer. They have been nothing short of fantastic, working with our very nervous but incredibly sweet pup. They are timely and show a lot of love and care for our dog, and they have done *wonders* for her socialization. The texts and pics and vids are great! read more

ADDENDUM: I was formerly a client of GoDog. I used a pseudonym to avoid retaliation against my dog.

Jason and his team have been walking my little lady Harley for two years now. We are moving in a few weeks, and I'm so sad to stop using GoDoG because they have taken such wonderful care of Harley. Siena does most of Harley's walks and her daily updates are so detailed and funny that all my co-workers look forward to reading them with me. I know Siena loves and dotes on Harley - it comes across in her updates and reading them always makes me feel reassured that Harley is so well taken care of when I'm not home. I have a very weird work schedule and Jason accommodates a different walk schedule every week. Siena dresses Harley in all the clothes I leave out, which in the winter is multiple layers with boots. Also, Harley had surgery last winter and Jason/Siena accommodated solo walks and everything we needed to get Harley back up and walking with the gang. Cannot say enough positive things about GoGoG. Harley loves them and they are truly amazing!!! read more

I moved to Park Slope with my pup Drumstick and did a lot of research on dog walkers -- so glad I found Jason and his team! This has been the best experience I've had with a dog walker to date. Jason is super accommodating and communicative, and everyone who's walked Drumstick has been really great to him. I love getting a text or note every day that really shows how much these people care about your dog. Highly recommend GoDoG! read more

Jason and his crew have been the perfect walkers for the last two years. My partner and I found him right after we picked up our pit mix from the pound, and we're so lucky that we did! After 2 months in the pound, our dog was on edge around other dogs, but Jason and the team have done such an incredible job of introducing her to others and finding perfect walking pairings that she's become much better with other dogs. The crew does daytime lunch walks for us, but have shown great flexibility in coming by for evening walks and feedings. Jason is incredibly personable, and hires the nicest folks to do walks; we've loved everyone on the team that we've met! It's a great, easygoing, and low stress arrangement. We're so happy to have Jason and the rest of the GoDoG crew in our dog's (and our) life! We'd gladly recommend them. read more

Jason and his team have been walking Rosie now for 3+ years, ever since she was a new puppy in Brooklyn. We can't say enough about how much we appreciate how reliable, flexible and attentive GoDog has been. Our schedule is somewhat erratic and Jason has always been able to help make sure Rosie is taken care of and happy - we even get pictures and text messages every day to let us know. We've even run into Jason and other team members around the neighborhood on weekends and Rosie gets so excited to see them so you can't get a better stamp of approval than that! read more

Jason and the entire team are absolutely fantastic. They are all extremely caring of the dogs and take fantastic care of them. I have used them for years for daily walks and sits. Their communication is excellent, they are extremely reliable and really individualize the care to the specific dog. My dog is pretty picky and sometimes stubborn but they are extremely patient and truly care about our precious pets. i cannot say enough positive things about them and always have total peace of mind when I travel and they are sitting. read more

Excellent dog walking service. My dog loves all the walkers and especially loves Jason. They are dependable and reasonably priced. They make sure my dog is happy and cared for and go above and beyond for her. read more

Do yourself a favor and hire Jason and GoDog for your puppers! Jason and his team were an essential part of our rescue's success and our success as new dog parents. We met with Jason the day after we adopted our dog a year and a half ago and he immediately bonded with her and offered critical training and behavior wisdom that gave us so much comfort as new dog parents. His walkers helped her gain confidence with other people and his walks helped her socialize better with other dogs. And, we lived for the text messages from his team! They were filled with all the details we needed about how she was doing while we were at work, but even more than that, they were filled with love for our Luna and photos of her looking so happy. We also highly recommend their dogsitting service, which allowed us to travel and know that Luna was safe and happy in our apartment with a professional caretaker. We are moving away from Brooklyn and aren't sure what we are going to do without GoDog. Jason and his team are so dependable and were there for us whenever we needed help. Luna is going to miss her buddies and we're going to miss the support. Jason and his team are the best! read more

I am so very happy that I found Go Dog through a referral at the dog run. I was not impressed with the previous services I had used for my 11 year old golden retriever so I figured I would give them a try. From the get go, I could tell that Jason really loved and "knew" dogs. My boy loved him right away. Jason took the time in the first few walks to get to know my dog and determine who would be the best fit for him, both human and fellow canine walkers alike. I get a personalized message every single day after every walk and I frequently get pictures and videos of the walk. I love it. I also love that my doggy walks with the same two girls. Once again, very personalized and I like knowing who my dog is with during the day. I can also tell that doggy is getting the full 30 minute walk. On top of all these wonderful things, the pricing is VERY fair. If your dog is not just a dog but a part of your family, you can put your trust in Jason, his walkers, and Go Dog. Ever since finding them, I can finally enjoy peace of mind when I leave my senior dog at home all day while I go to work. read more

Jason and his crew took such great care of my rescue beagle, Penny. A friend referred me to GoDog when I adopted her last March, and Jason, the owner, was immediately responsive. He meets every dog himself and takes care to make sure new dogs will fit in to the group walks. He forwards text updates (and sometimes great pictures!) from his walkers every day, which I always enjoyed. I also really appreciated that they were always able to accommodate my schedule, which was constantly changing week by week. We recently moved out of state, but still wanted to be sure to leave GoDog my thanks and kudos. Highly recommend for all your dog walking needs! read more

How can I properly thank Jason and his amazing team for all they have done for us?! We got our little Winn in June when she was just 3 months old and Jason and his team at GoDog treated her like family from the moment they met. Handling a puppy is no small task- lots of patience and love and GoDog did this unwaveringly. While at work, the best part of my day was receiving updates via text on Winn and her walks. They were detailed, comical, and most importantly timely. I never worried when she was in GoDog's hands. I will forever be thankful to Jason and his team for loving Winn as much as we do. GoDog is family and I could not sing their praises enough!!! read more

These guys are absolutely the best. They take care of & love my pup as if he were their own. I have a 10 month old puppy who has a good amount of energy, and looks forward to his walks & playtime with the GoDog team every day. He has even become better behaved since starting with these guys, and I know Colin takes the credit for that one. Today, my poor little guy got sick inside his crate & made a terrible mess, from which I'll spare you guys the details. Colin was incredible & took him out of his crate, bathed him, and cleaned up his crate (and my floor where he lost control of his bowels). He cleaned the tub & everything else. Went completely above and beyond what I ever could have expected, but you could tell he genuinely felt bad for my dog & wanted to get him feeling better. Jason was texting us throughout the day so we knew what had happened and I was able to get home to take the little guy to the vet. In addition to being loving & caring, these guys provide extensive messages every day so that I know what was going on with the walks (with the occasional cute photo that makes my heart melt). They do this all of the time- not just when your dog is ill! I couldn't recommend GoDog enough. If you're looking for a dog walker, you really should not look any further!! read more

I can't say enough good things about Jason and his crew. They are warm, caring, funny and highly communicative. We have 2 energetic medium to large dogs. After each daily walk, we would get a picture or video and a long breakdown of their walk via text. I sometimes even laughed out loud at some of the stories they relayed. Before we started using them, Jason came over and met the dogs and observed them. We've used other dog walking services and they were fine but Jason takes a holistic approach to the dogs. They really enjoy the dogs. We ran into one of their walkers on a weekend while we were out with the dogs and she fawned all over them in such a genuine way. We sadly just moved out of their dog walking area. We will miss the whole team and how well cared for our dogs were with them. read more

Jason has been wonderful and amazingly patient with our neurotic dog. Our dog really hates dog walkers and doesn't always play nice with other dogs, but he's been great about making accommodations and trying to make it work. Definitely would recommend. read more

Jason and his team have been walking my dog for 4 years. They are reliable, flexible and most importantly looove my dog. Whenever we run into him in the neighborhood, my dog is crazy happy to see Jason. It's clear that he and his team really care about the dogs they work with. I've had a bunch of different walkers and they've all been great. I highly recommend godog. read more

I don't know what our life would be without Jason! We had been hesitant to get a dog walker since our 6yr old terroir, Otis, is a bit of a punk, but Jason took the challenge head on and did not quit until he got Otis to accept him. It took a few tries, but Jason was persistent and now Otis is finally getting some extra love and attention during our work week. Other positives to working with Jason (1) he sends awesome recap texts that always entertain and shows he cares (2) he takes venmo! (3) he's flexible with date changes and additional walk days as long as he is free and we message him early enough. Again what a life saver!!! read more

My dog Gypsy LOVES Jason and her main walker John. As a rescue, Gypsy needed help socializing and gaining confidence on her walks. The team has set her up for success by pairing her with dogs that suit her demeanor and tolerate her little behavior quirks. She's really blossomed over then last year with their help. On top of that, as a freelancer, my schedule isn't always available in advance and Jason somehow always makes it work. It really means a lot to me that Jason and John are always available for Gypsy when she needs a walk or a belly rub and are invested in her happiness. read more

My husband and I live in the Boerum Hill neighborhood and have been using Jason and the GoDog team for 3 1/2 years. We have been completely satisfied and would highly recommend them. First and foremost, Jason is a dog lover. He took the time to come and meet our dog, Jack, before we signed up. Every time we run into him (at the park with his own pups or around town) Jack gets excited. Jason's walkers are great - I feel totally confident with them. We have had only two primary walkers since in 3 1/2 years, which is pretty remarkable. Jason himself will sub in here and there as well. They leave little notes every day and Jason will text pics. Bottom line, it feels like you are working with real [dog loving] people rather than an impersonal agency. Jason is incredibly communicative, flexible and overall easy to work with. He will accommodate evening walks when needed, and has helped us out on a last-minute basis several times (sorry!). If you're looking for a walker, definitely go with these guys! read more

I have been using Jason and his team for about a year now. I could not ask for anything more. I have a schedule that changes weekly and they are very flexible. My dog Rosie gets so excited when they come by, and they treat her like a princess. My dog was a rescue with some small issues, but Jason is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and gives me great tips. They also spend a little extra time with her after the walk giving treats, refilling her water and playing some tug of war. They always leave a note with an update, and it always makes me smile. I feel so comfortable with all the guys and feel like i'm leaving my pup with family. Ive also had her do an overnight and Jason sent me a pic of her playing in his yard, having the time of her life. I'm so lucky to have these guys! read more

Jason was recommended to me by a friend in the neighborhood years ago. He has watched my dogs many times. He never let me down and I felt confident and comfortable having him and his staff in my apartment. He writes follow up texts to keep me updated and I appreciate that when I am away. I have recommended him to many of my clients and they have all been pleased with his services. read more

Jason and the GoDog team are excellent! Our dogs need special care as they are elderly and one is blind. Jason and his team take the time and care necessary to make sure the dogs have a safe happy walk. The dogs are always so excited to see their walker, which also tells us how well they treat our sweet mutts. The nightly reports from the walkers are full of personality and give us the info we need about who did what on the walk. I highly recommend GoDog! read more

When my roommate and I decided to get a puppy last year the last piece of our puzzle was finding a good dog walker in the neighborhood. We ended up happily adopting our nugget Rue along with Jason and his excellent team. As new dog owners we were fairly neurotic about our baby, nerves that were quieted by the daily notes left by whoever walked her (seriously, we tasked the GoDog team with filling up a dog-walking journal that is now one of my prized possessions from Rue's puppyhood). We contacted GoDog first because Jason doesn't walk huge packs, so we had no fears of our 4-lb puppy turning into a real dog's afternoon snack. Jason was always understanding with us needing to shuffle our schedules around (sometimes with late notice). The bonus is that our dog loved Jason from the first time he came over for an introduction before he started walking her, and along with his texts updates he would usually send a picture of her cuddling up on him. If I must work and have a surrogate dog cuddler, Jason's my guy! In the end our pup was happy and always cared for and we ended up making a good pal in Jason himself, who you will see around the neighborhood corralling his army of dogs or just chilling at Tin Cup or Sea Witch. Jason is, most of all, a great dude who has advice on a range of topics from dog training tips to good 80's music and best neighborhood hang-outs. TL;DR if you live in Jason's walking area, you can't find a better guy to care for your dog! read more

Jason and his team at GoDog have walked our dogs, Jim and Pam, every weekday afternoon for years. Pricing is reasonable and we receive a handwritten note or text message every afternoon to let us know how the walk went. We have come to trust Jason and his team implicitly and have always found GoDog's service both reliable and flexible. Jason is very responsive, there's never been a no-show, and when we've needed someone to walk our dogs at the last minute during evenings or weekends, GoDog has invariably saved the day. What really sets GoDog apart is the care that Jason and his team have shown for Jim and Pam over the years. This has shown itself in small ways--GoDog's walkers have cleaned up on countless occasions after Jim and Pam have made a mess inside the apartment (yeah, you know what kind of mess I mean)--but in big ways, too: When Jim became sick, Jason and his team were supportive of us and caring and patient with Jim. Before Jim passed away, Jason even made a special trip to say goodbye. It's important to choose the right dog walker, because that person will take care of your four-legged family for at least an hour almost everyday. We trust Jason and GoDog with our family, and know that we have chosen well. read more

My girlfriend and I are of an extremely neighborly variety and initially reached out to Jason because his service is based just a block from our apartment. After reaching out, our dogs trainer subsequently recommended him (because the trainer uses him, too), which was another huge plus. Jason accommodated my schedule by meeting clover initially late at night for their "meet and greet" - he wanted to learn about her personality and temperament before mixing her with other dogs to make sure she'd be comfortable and happy on their walks. He spent over an hour with us that night learning about her. Clover is totally obsessed with Jason and one of his teammates, Clarissa. Seeing the two of them interact with her on our home camera while having long days at work is the absolute best part of those days. They seriously show her so much love and it's obvious that she looks forward to spending time with them. I cannot express enough how great they are and what a difference the walks have made. Jason is INCREDIBLY sweet and soft on her, and even shows our cats love, too. Clover has kidney disease and he even went out of his way to ask his vet if the food she gives us is up to par, and always accommodates us when we need an extra walk on extremely short notice. He also feeds her before their evening walks and noticed she eats very quickly and told me the dangers associated with that. He recommended a slow-feeding bowl, which we bought, and it has made a huge difference. The man goes above and beyond. He's definitely a dog lover first, and a dog walker second. We are so, so grateful for having found them. read more

There are dogwalkers and then there is GoDog. For 3+ years Jason and his spirited group of young professionals have cared for my dog Phebe like she was their own. A special needs senior pet- Phebe needs more than the average pup and the GoDog team goes above and beyond every single walk. Jason himself, is the Brooklyn Dog Whisperer. He is mindful of walk pairings and thorough in his knowledge of pet nutrition and behavior. To say my dog worships him is an understatement. He has taught me so much as my dog has aged and I know we couldn't live without him! Simply the best. read more

We found Jason and his team in a yelp search and couldn't be happier with the results! We have two dogs- a golden retriever and a chocolate lab, and GoDog has been absolutely wonderful with them! We even get pictures of our pups on their walks sometimes! Love GoDog- Jason and his whole team. Highly recommend if you love your dogs like they are your kids! read more

Jason and his team are absolutely amazing. I was new to the city and wanted my mini poodle Apple to get better socialized and have exercise while away at work. Jason is extremely professional and so caring towards all of his pup clients. He set up an initial meeting to get acquainted with Apple and was brilliant! Apple was at first very weary and shy, but that did not make any difference to how Jason treated her. After Jason gave Apple special attention, he slowly introduced her to other dogs. Soon after that, Alex began to walk Apple. Alex is also amazing! I can tell that he cared about Apple like his own. I am so sad that Apple can't spend time with Jason and Alex anymore, but I can't exactly bring them with me to Atlanta. Any dog owner would be making a mistake not to go with GoDoG services. They are the BEST!!! Hands down. read more

Jason and his team have been top notch for the 1+ years that I have been living in Park Slope and had our rescue Trig. His crew have been so good to my pup, not only walking her but helping to teach her good habits and getting over the puppy tendencies we had when we got her. Jason is always fair with scheduling, balanced with payments, and takes the best care in the details to make sure that things go right. I would suggest him and his service to anyone with a dog in the area; we recently had to move out of the area, and he left us with a doggy gift, a great last walk session with our doggie Triggy, and made us feel more than special. If you are getting a dog in the area, make Jason at the top of your list. read more

Jason and the GoDog crew are the best - I couldn't think of a better team to trust with our pooch. They have really taken their time getting to know the personalities of the dogs to make sure each group is out with friends. My Husband's review of Jason and goDog was filtered (even though it was 5 stars), so I thought I'd write one about how awesome Jason and his team are. They do an awesome job of pairing Harper (65lb mix) with lots of different dogs, and I always feel like they go out of their way to make sure she has a playmate who will romp around with her. Jason understands that our schedule changes daily, and he is flexible and easygoing with last minute changes and adjustments, always knowing we do our best to give him as much notice as possible. He and his team leave great notes and texts updating us on the day's activities, and we always know Harper is in the BEST hands with them. We plan to leave our pup with Jason while away on vacation and I didn't think twice about how happy she'll be. She may not want to come home!!! I would have a hard time trusting anyone else to care for Harper after the awesome job this team has done so far! read more
