Alf on his way to the Park with Steph

Our dog deficiency had gone on far too long so I scoured the world wide web to find our sweet, silly, Alf. We loved him instantly--he's kind, humorous, and fills our hearts with joy daily. There was no way we'd reciprocate by leaving him alone for hours on end, wondering if that noisy stinky kennel wasn't so bad after all. I called my neighbors who have a most resplendent Great Dane, figuring they'd have a resource or two, and yes, they sure did! The Dane family connected me to Jason, the very thorough and caring founder of GoDoG, and the rest has been the history of bliss. After we humans head to work, Alf knows he's one short nap away from his best day ever, every day: His beloved Steph (or sometimes Ana or Giulia) arrives to help him with his ongoing research project: How do squirrels get up trees? Working theory: nice long toenails. He's been blessed with lab assistants who "get" him, and give him the time to watch and learn. And play, and experience his dogginess, safely. Alf is a lucky dog to have GoDoG in his life!

The GoDog team, especially our most common walkers Nikko, Jason, and Steph, have been amazing this past year for our 2-year-old pup Harper. Harper is a shy, anxious, loving pup who quickly grew to trust and adore her walkers and best doggo buds Finn and JoJo. She runs to the door with every buzzer hoping to see her pals. With Harper having a very limited diet and significant health issues (EPI, SIBO, IBS, food allergies, and noise phobias) the GoDog team has been patient and caring throughout her long diagnosis journey. The consistent socialization with her outgoing and relaxed dog friends has brought Harper out of her comfort zone and has helped her enjoy walks more on the busy streets of Brooklyn - as long as there are no garbage trucks :) Jason is fantastic at matching dog personalities - they all bring out the best in each other. You're in good hands with this crew!

I can't recommend GoDog Brooklyn enough! Our great dane has been walking with them for close to two years now, and the GoDog crew has been wonderfully accommodating to his specific needs due to his size (solo walks, slower pace, stops to rest on hot days, etc.). Jason clearly cares about all his doggy clients and their parents, and Nikko and Steph are wonderful walkers (Jerry gives them lots of nose boops each time they come by). If you are within their neighborhood range in Brooklyn, you should 100% have one of the GoDog crew take care of your pup!!

The owner of GoDog, Jason, and his crew are THE BEST. My very discerning (snobby) 11 year old Weimaraner, Olive, is in love with Jason, I think. She will happily walk me to the block where he lives and sit outside his door. When we meet Jason on the street, she about pees herself with excitement. When she stays at Jason's while we are out of town, she prefers snugging up to Jason instead of coming home. I should be offended, but I'm not. I'm thrilled she's so happy. Jason has known & walked Olive since she was a pup, and he is one of the kindest and most genuine people I've ever met. He loves dogs and he understands what they need. And that's the standard he holds for his entire team. I've never had anything but wonderful experiences with the GoDog family in 11 years. Can't recommend their walking and dog sitting services more.

Just wanted to provide a quick update. Unfortunately we lost our beloved Bear to cancer a few years ago when he was only 4 years old. Jason and his team were beyond supportive - even bringing Bear homemade food when he lost his appetite and couldn't keep much down. Their love for our pup in his final days meant the world to us. When we decided to get another lab, going back to Jason and the GoDog team was an easy decision. We use them for daily walks and overnight stays when we're out of town. All of the walkers are incredibly trustworthy and reliable. Our pup Finn is very high energy and Jason has done a great job pairing him with other dogs in the neighborhood. We've been part of the GoDog family for almost 8 years and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an awesome dog walking service!

Jason and his team are amazing with Max. They have been working with him over the past year and Max is going to be turning 18 years old this month. They are very caring and attentive to his needs, offering pets, treats, and stimulating him during his walks. Jason is able to accommodate Max for a single walk, instead of a group walk, given his age and arthritis. Jason is very savvy with dogs and gained Max's trust really fast and knows how to handle and walk with him. Jason and his team respect our Covid-19 requests when coming into the house and while walking Max and we greatly appreciate it! Overall, we are so happy to have found GoDog and their services. Max always has a big smile after his walks and we couldn't be happier! We highly recommend them.

We've been working with Jason for several months now, and he's nothing short of a miracle worker. Our 110 lb dog was found as an adult stray, and seems to have had no socialization at all with other dogs. As a result of that isolation, and who knows what other awful experiences, she tended to be extremely anxious around and aggressive towards other dogs and sometimes even human strangers. We hired several trainers before Jason which brought some small improvements to her behavior, but since she's been meeting with Jason, she is a changed pup: overall calmer, happier, no longer triggered by other dogs and even able to hang out (supervised and muzzled) with other dogs in dog parks, which for us is nothing short of a miracle. Even walking her is like walking a completely different dog, one who not only is not aggressive towards other dogs, but interested in and friendly toward them, whereas before we often couldn't even walk on the same street if there were other dogs there. We only wish we had found Jason sooner, for all of our sakes.

Our sweet pup Pippin loves pizza, blueberries, other dogs, and just a handful of humans. Jason and his team of well-trained professionals are definitely among the carefully-vetted humans he adores. GoDogBrooklyn continues to be our trusted dog walking company. They are very responsive, flexible when needed, and very knowledgeable. They continue to work with Pippin and reinforce the good skills he has learned in the early days.

We have been using the GoDog team for around a year with our 50lb energetic Husky and he LOVES Steph and all the team. He gets super excited for his regular walks and the team have been very accommodating for any last-minute needs as well. GoDog were recommended by our dog trainer and the team have helped maintain his training along with giving him lots of exercise, attention and socialization. We get updates on how each walk goes along with photos and the team always ensure everything is set when he gets back home from his walk as well. Highly recommended!

We've been with Jason and GoDog for over two years. Words cannot express how happy and grateful we are to have found this amazing team. Our dog, Juno, had a lot of anxiety and trust issues when we first got her. After two bad experiences with different walkers, we were convinced we wouldn't find a walker because fear and aggression got the best of her. Then we found Jason through Yelp and scheduled time to meet. The moment Juno met Jason and went right in to give him kisses, we knew he was the right fit. His team has completely changed Juno by giving her the love, trust, and patience that she so badly needed. One specific member of Jason's team, Xavier, has been instrumental in Juno's continual progress. Like all stories of progress, Juno has had her setbacks. And Xavier has seen her at her worst and yet he shows up every day, positive and energetic. Over the past two years, Juno has transformed into the loving, sweet dog we knew she could be. Through personalized attention and socialization, Juno has learned to trust other dogs. It was practically impossible to introduce her to other dogs in the beginning but now she walks seamlessly with her crew of pups. Earlier this year she started playing with another dog - which might not sound like a huge improvement but if you'd seen her leash aggression before, you'd understand how that moment brought tears to our eyes. We have also used GoDog for overnight stays. Notably, we had a last minute emergency trip with no planned return date before the holidays. Jason seamlessly coordinated his team to watch Juno and made sure to keep us updated the entire two weeks that we ended up being gone. We are moving out of the area and are beyond devastated to be leaving the GoDog family. We almost didn't move just because we didn't want to leave this amazing team. That's how great they all are. Jason and GoDog have changed Juno's life, as well as ours. We will be forever grateful to him and his team for the amazing work he's done. You'll never find better pup-care in BK than GoDog.

My husband and I adopted our sweet and energetic Penny two years ago and immediately realized we needed a walker. We asked around and did some research and came across Jason and his crew at GoDog. We could NOT be any happier!!!! The updates we get from our main walker John are detailed, thorough, and hysterical. He is always attentive to Penny and her needs, always ensure that she is taken care of and treated with love. Jason is literally the greatest ever - communicative and professional! I have an ongoing text chain with him and responds in the blink of an eye, which is crucial when emergencies come up. Their prices are perfect too, to be living in Brooklyn and have such a reliable crew of Dog walkers makes us incredibly happy and our sweet girl even happier. We trust them with Penny every single day! If my schedule changes or if something comes up, they are attentive and flexible which means a LOT to us! If we move we may need to bring Jason and GoDog with us :) Definitely recommend their services - even walks on the weekend if they're needed!

I can't say enough good things about Jason and his amazing team. We have been clients for over 2 years and are so lucky to have found such a trusting and caring group of people to take care of our dog Riley. My schedule is constantly changing and he has always gone out of his way to make sure that someone is available to help, even if it's a last minute request. Riley has always been anxious around people he doesn't know, but that completely changed once we started using Jason and his team. Riley's socialization with other dogs has greatly improved now that he gets regular walks with his park slope pack and I love knowing that he is out having fun when I can't be home with him. Jason is always there to give advice and offer support and we are so grateful for his love and care of our pup. They are seriously the best!

Jack is always excited to see his pals for the daily walk!

The team is incredibly warm, thorough, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every dog who walks through their door. What I love most is that their philosophy of dog care mirrors high-quality child care -- attentive, structured, and deeply compassionate. It aligns perfectly with the kind of love and care that I give Tucci at home, which makes it easy to trust them and feel safe sending him there. One of my favorite parts of the day is receiving the photos and videos they send. It's clear from every update that Tucci is happy, engaged, and in great hands. He loves it there! Hello! I wanted to kindly remind this business that it is illegal to perform "working interviews"…read morewithout compensation. Working interviews are legally considered trial employment, which requires at least minimum wage. When asked by a prospective employee if this will be a paid trial, the owner responded to them saying that if that matters to them, the job probably won't work out. Aside from legally, that's pretty morally gross. Especially in the current job market. Nobody should be expected to work for free, even if that job involves hanging out with dogs! Dogs are great. We love our dog. We love him so much, we even feed him! Which is hard to do when being denied pay for labor. Just something for this business to consider changing moving forward, and maybe something prospective employees and clientele should be aware of.

We live in a large old Brooklyn apt building. The halls are narrow and the elevator can be full. There are times when Gracie will react strongly with some of the neighbors. This behavior is unpredictable. A lot of people don't like and are unfamiliar with dogs. They will stare at Gracie, and she is at 100 is ferocious. She is scary. That is a very uncomfortable and unwelcome situation and dangerous too. A dog like Gracie needs to be trained and we need to be trained too. We hired Gabriel to help us to understand how to work with Gracie. Over the year, we have had him come to our building and work with us 4x. It has been enormously helpful. He has helped us to work on specific things, like distraction by way of side pulling with the leash (never pulling back!), breaking her concentration on the one person, that is causing Gracie to go ballistic, with a gentle side pull, a circle away from the stimulus and a sharp noise that get her attention away from the stimulus. The goal is de escalate and it works! Having Gabriel work with us has helped us to gain the confidence necessary to work with our sweet charcoal gray Gracie. We will have come over again for a refresher session. Everyone needs a refresher. Our relationship with our dogs area always dynamic, never static, and a reminder of how to be with them is good thing. I really liked Gabriel! Services Dog training

I had an unruly beast of a puppy when she first came along this summer. She knew right away how to keep him in behavior mode, while still being very sweet to him. She's not one of those lazy dogwalkers either, doing the minimum as many do. It is great for me as I often come home from work to a pleasantly exhausted dog. Now we've hit fall and I feel like I have a much more manageable creature to return home to after a long day of work. In addition to being one of the more trustworthy and honest people I have ever hired in such a capacity, she's also very available and when she can't assist me, she knows who else to refer me to. Oh, and she has a way with people too - after dogsitting once, she left me a vase of flowers and a nice note on a card, reporting all the things my dog got to do while I was away.
