We love A&W! We eat there every time we are in the area! The food is great and the old fashion root beer is always a must!

This place is a gem that is slightly off the beaten path in Endicott. I highly recommend a visit…read more First, let's start with the burgers. They are fantastic! For me, they are best eaten with limited toppings and no sauce. I'm not a huge fan of their burger sauce but others seem to like it but if you leave the sauce you get the full flavor of the burger and seasoning. I recently had to make a visit with a group to that place where there are nearly half a dozen guys that make burgers and as a test, I tried eating it the same way I'd eat it at here and discovered there was absolutely NO flavor. The best way to find out if a place makes good burgers is to eat it plain with little to nothing on it because if they are covering it all up with add-ons, they don't have a good burger, they just have cooked meat. TKC doesn't need the sauce but it's there if you want it. Better yet, they are reasonably priced and less expensive than any other burger joint in the area. (We are talking GOOD burgers here, not the fast food chains but even then...still probably cheaper.) Second, they have a fantastic hot honey chicken sandwich that has a lot of chicken on it. It is fried perfectly and the hot honey adds just the right touch of sweet and spicy to give it a wonderful flavor. Finally, sides of onion rings and fries are all done perfectly. I think personally the onion rings have the WIN here but either way you can't go wrong. Oh, and they have ice cream! That isn't the highlight for me, but they have a decent selection of flavors and are reasonably priced. My choice is the non-dairy cookie dough and peanut butter (I think I have the flavor right) and it tastes great. This place seems to always be busy and the owner is always cheerful and friendly. Do yourself a favor and make a visit and in the process support a wonderful local business! You won't regret it. P.S. Adding this - I've taken multiple people here over the past few months and not had a single person disagree with me on how great this place is. So, while the review is mine, I'm quite certain my family and friends would give the exact same 5-star review here.

Experience 1: Service is questionable…read more Servers (or at least our server) prioritized a party of 12+ over a family of 4. Party of 12 were asked for and received drinks along with having their food order taken before we ever had our drinks. Wild. We had to ask for a manager to get our drinks after 15+ minutes and they had assured us our server hadn't forgotten about us, but had become overwhelmed with the large party. The manager then attended us personally for the rest of the evening, sparingly. Experience 2: Prices depend on where you sit, really? We walked in for the happy hour advertised on the outside of the building, but once inside and seated at a booth table with my family, we were told those prices were only for people sitting at the bar. I have two small children, we can't sit at the bar. My kids who wanted milkshakes have to pay $6.99 at our table, but they are only $3.99 for the people at the bar at the same time. Seriously? Same goes for any of the apps we wanted to try. Again, $3.00 cheaper at the bar, but if you are sitting elsewhere, you have to pay full price. This branch is not family friendly on the wallet or convenient. Unfortunate.

Sometimes fries get mushy and burger buns get soggy, but not the case for either one with our order. Definitely a bit pricy, but they are a great choice for somewhere that does meatless burgers and does them very well!

I stopped at this location a couple days ago because well we were headed to the grocery store and you don't want to go to a Wegmans if you're hungry. You'll spend a whole lot more money. So because we were already nearby anyways we stopped in. Wasn't really sure what to get so went with just the basic cheeseburger and a normal size french fry. I had read reviews before about five guys and I forgotten until was there but when you order a normal size french fry or any size french fry for that matter, they place the container of fries into your bag very very carefully as not to spill any, and then they take a big ol' scoop of french fries in addition to that and dump them into the bag on top of everything. So you get plenty of fries. The burgers were incredible, very juicy, had some decent flavor, and we ordered them "all the way" which comes with lettuce pickle tomato onion etc.. The fries were tasty enough that we didn't add any ketchup or mayonnaise or anything. The staff behind the counter were super friendly, and they actually seemed happy to have jobs at a burger place. I say it like that because we've all been to a McDonald's for example and seen just the grumpy people that work there walking around like they could give a crap about anything. The crew at this five guys seemed like they were having a good time even though they were working. The place was also pretty clean, lots of tables to choose from. If I need to go to another Five Guys, I'll choose this location every time
