Polite employees (college kids) Burgers and shakes that look and taste like they should. My order was conveniently wrapped. Not sloppy! Drive thru is a fast one, for a change! I ordered on the app for the free Big Mac (can't cancel or get a refund), but had no idea these employees were slow as molasses getting out orders. They took care of the entire drive thru before worrying about the customers inside, and acted like they cared less about any customer. This place was severely understaffed and after waiting in the drive thru for 30+ minutes (as the next car in line) I parked and went inside to order on the kiosk. I've been standing in line for 20+ minutes and my food isn't in sight, they're still serving 10+ orders ahead of me. The staff seem decently nice and I feel horrible for them, but the person next to me in store was waiting for 1+ hour for a drink. Choose anywhere but here. This is not a diss toward the employees, who were clearly working hard, this is directed at management/ownership. Shame on you. The bathrooms were filthy. The sink was brown and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Overall restaurant was just dirty. I'm honestly glad the play place wasn't open, because I wouldn't have let my child play in it given the condition of the rest of the restaurant. However that made seating very limited, making it awkward with people standing around waiting for someone to get up so they could take a seat. This is consistently the worst McDonalds in the country in regards to order accuracy and customer service. I end up here by not changing the location when I place an online order and it is the closest to my house, yes I am willing to go out of my way to avoid this location and when I make that mistake of selecting this location I Always have immediate regret. On todays journey I picked the drive through lane that was only taking orders when they felt like it as the other lane had 3 cars complete their order while I continued to wait. Decided to have quick hot breakfast takeout at McDonald's less then a mile away from home. Both Drive up lines were busy so entered the sit down area order desk after parking the car. This was a best decision. Ordered Big Breakfast with hot cakes substituted sausage for a biscuit and added extra hash brown for less then 9 bucks. Moved our faster back in the car. Second visit in two weeks. Last week a desert trip for the kiddos that was ok but it was apparent that the employees here need direction and quality leadership. This week was just too dang hot to do/cook anything at home and the kids agreed to be the last visit of July if we went tonight. So off we went to subpar expectations for our "dinner" journey. Upon entering the drive thru was wrapped around the building and a half dozen disappointed, pissed-off and perplexed customers awaiting their food greeted us with their looks of dismay The wait times do not equal tbe payroll dollars being spent during the evening rush Everyone there is working and could be classified as "working hard" during this time where WFH and checks for free expedited the collapse of quality retail employees. Tonight I just felt bad for them. It's like watching a scaled down version of kitchen nightmares after a couple people make mistakes and the crew tries extra hard and fails at catching up. Drive thru (as is the industry standard now) takes precedent and walkin customers are treated to down time at the DTW help. Table service orders being Bagged as a shortcut and the overall energy of feeling helpless eminating from tne kitchen to the customer service robot err kiosk (with one side out of order) Lack of communication, direction and instructions are easily apparent at the basic customer knowledge level. The spills over to the customer wait area where there is only order number level communication at best. Done so by the exact same team that was working there last week minus a maintenance man. I didn't expect the young man working the front end to be there this week, he won't last much longer in that environment. All these people seem to want to work but they are not properly being led down the path to success. The food was surprisingly ok. The nuggets not so much but the fries were warm/hot my five dollar chicken Sammy didn't look too hot but it was edible and my boys cheeseburger was decent. But if I came in with normal expectations I would have been sorely disappointed. Average wait time from customer discussions or verbal outrage 15-30mins. Lets be honest and know that for a couple bucks more we all could have got real food from a local bar in about that time which is ten times better for us. This location has the most inept staff I've ever witnessed. It's like a 3-ring circus. Cars in the drive-thru honking because the orders are taking forever. Customers at the register being ignored. The customer complaint number listed on the door (607-203-5911) is disconnected and doesn't work. It seemed like the franchisee owners of this MCD had hired child labor to manage this place. Came here at 4/5/23 at around 9:30PM. The drive-thru was attended by a teenager that didn't care about their job and an equally uninterested young manager with a headset and a blue shirt prancing around the store sauntering and dancing around. The teen girl at the drive-thru window would purposely encourage me (a customer) to honk at the car in front of me to annoy them. I wasn't sure what was going on at first, but after the drive-up girl asked me to do strange things... I knew the employees here were just having 'fun' at the expense of paying customers. Myself and the person in front of me were forced to wait about 20 min for our orders. We were both hesitant to eat the food that came out of this establishment as the employee came out giggling with our orders. GI upset, much? Threw out my food immediately. Had to ask for my receipt repeatedly. I don't know what to say, Vestal... I guess this is one way to keep the town's young people busy instead of finding them overdosing from heroin in their parents basements. There are plenty of activities to do here: martial arts, skating rink, minigolf... etc. Why aren't the young adults in this town having fun at the movies, but instead messing around with my food order as a source of entertainment??? The people in this town must have lived under a rock for many, many years that they have moss growing in their eyes and ears. My company relocated myself and a couple people here recently due to a shortage of healthcare workers. I think I know why. This town and the surrounding areas are full of kids who mess with random people. The local education dept probably do not have volunteer or decent after-school programs. Nor do they have decent guidance counselors to prep kids for college. Or... the local military recruiting office can maybe step up their efforts a bit. The young adults in this town are getting work at the nearest fast-food chain and reward the franchisee owners with citations from the local department of health and out-of-towners like myself with hepatitis-ridden stale food. Not angry, but will never be rewarding businesses like this. There are plenty of other places that will treat the customer well for much less stress and money. Wouldn't be surprised if I start hearing news reports about hair, bugs and misc items being found in this restaurant's food. Good luck, Vestal! Took 10 minutes just to be acknowledged inside. Took an additional 10 minutes to get said food, a 10 piece nugget meal and a happy meal. I went to sit down and found every table to be filthy. We were in this area for my birthday, and after a bad dinner my wife had, she needed something to eat, so McDonald's it was. This McDonald's was closing at 8pm (We got there around 7:30), we ordered a double cheeseburger, mustard only and a large coke. When we got the food my wife opened up the burger and the bun was almost like a rock. So I pulled back into the parking lot, couldn't go inside because all the doors were locked. I happened to see an employee go out the other side to drop off a meal, so I went around to let them know about the burger. They went to take care of it, but for the next burger it took almost 10 minutes. This was not a great McDonald's experience. Not one we'll be rushing back to. read more

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been too.... the fountain drinks sprayed me. None of them tasted right. The Manager on duty told us that there was a water break and a foot of water in the restaurant earlier that day. They said this was the reason the water was carbonated. The restaurant also had no bottled water so I don't know how they were operating legally. The whole restaurant was disgusting. Nothing was cleaned papers covered the floor and several drinks were spilt on the floor and left there. The garbage outside was overflowing and On top of all this the restaurant smelled very bad. 3 times I have gone through the drive through, on the right side and three times I have been ignored. 3 Cars that were behind me in line, ended up ahead of me. When I asked the manager about it, she just said we are short handed and there is only one of her. Cars are supposed to be taken care of in the order in which they get to the order station, which has nothing to do with them being short staffed. I got food from this McDonald's at around 8 pm on a Saturday when the drive thru wasn't crowded, it was a 15 minute wait even though there were only 2 cars in front of me. I then got my food around 15-20 minutes after ordering and waiting (I got a plain hamburger with large french fries), I don't go to McDonald's too often so I ordered something plain and simple. I cannot exaggerate enough how the burger I received was undoubtedly the worst hamburger I've had in at least a year. This hamburger was so bad that it makes Burger King's normal plain junior whopper taste like a gourmet burger from a special restaurant. This plain McDonald's hamburger was plastered with mustard, ketchup, and one singular deformed pickle, while the buns were still crusty and cold from what I assume to be the microwave that they use to heat up their food. The fries had no salt, we're almost all soggy and burnt. I can certainly say that this was one of the most terrible McDonald's I've ever been to. I hope that everything here gets better in the future, but as for now it is off my list of fast food restaurants to go to. read more

I stopped by quick to grab my toddler some food... sat in line forever, got our food, and realized it was wrong. Ordered nuggets and got a burger instead. Asked for Hi-C, they told me it was diluted. OK. Everyone knows what McDonald's is, so my rating isn't comparing McD's to the great steak houses of NYC. It is comparing it to other McDonalds. I'm not big on MickeyD's but I'll go there on occasion, but I won't go back to this one.
