First time to this restaurant on Sunday March 8, 2026. Ordered the chicken al paster and asked the guy to build a bowl the way it comes. He didn't know so I winged it. I could have died with an in tact Bay Leaf as shown I found while eating. Removing them is cooking 101! The bowl (to go) tasted decent but not worth the 17 bucks. The restaurant was filthy, see photos from comments four months ago, nothing has changed. Too filthy to eat at, all tables were very dirty. No napkins and the drink area disgusting. I don't normally post very often but I need to share this experience. Every. Single. Time. I place a Doordash order. It comes incomplete, missing ingredients, missing sauces, or missing a whole order item. The staff is a pack of inconsiderate college kids with far better things to be doing than their job, obviously. Every time it's been long enough for me to forget about the last Chipotle experience, I'm reminded again and again why I don't order from there. They need to work better as a team like the New Hartford location and be on top of stuff to make your customers happy. My experience at this Chipotle was absolutely horrendous. My family and I came to eat later in the evening, and waiting in line for over 10 minutes while all of the employees focused more on their online orders than the people in front of them. One of the employees was yelling at all of the customers, telling them they aren't able to have chips because they are all "reserved for online orders only". Meanwhile customers in the store were ordering chips online and receiving them that way because they refused to give them to people paying in the store. The store itself was disgusting. There was a line of about 8 people in front of us, only 1 person making food, so it didn't go quickly. By the time I ordered, there was no steak, no carne asada, and no chicken available. There's a lot of people standing around not doing anything instead of restocking for the people in-store. It ruins the chipotle experience. She then immediately walks back over to strike a casual conversation with a male coworker. I guess that's what the big rush was for. Went to the Vestal location for the first time today. We were driving to NYC and I wanted my chipotle fix. What a mistake! I waited half an hour in line to be served. Should have left but as the minutes ticked by I had too much time invested. When I first entered the store no one was being served. All staff were busy cleaning and refilling. Ok?? You can't do that and still manage to serve a few people? Once they started serving I'd hoped things would start moving. Nope. One guy on the line and one guy on cash who was having issues. Several other staff were present but not serving customers. When I finally got my turn to order the one guy on the line disappeared. Really buddy? With 10 people behind me? The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because the server really heaped on the chicken and cheese without being asked. Good for me, horrible for the owner's food costs.
