We stopped here on our way back to Chicago. The food was great, as usual but the best part was a kid named Kyle. We had our two pugs with us and they were excited when we got to the window. The drive over pad was not working as I sat there at least 2 min. Pulled forward and nobody would acknowledge me for additional 4 min until I used my flashlight to signal them. The lady working A&W did smile at me and the manager waked just to the left of the window. After the Rocky girl brought an order to the window(not mine) I stated that I had a pickup. She looked confused and told her the name and phone number. Still confused I said exactly what I ordered. She stated I was to leave. I said not until I get my order as I seen it setting on the counter. The manager was asked to com over and I explained the same thing. He said the pad you drive on will beep. Apparently it was not working like he said. So they started to sasback. Here is a restaurant that I usually tip from the window but screw that from now on! Every single time I go to this "all stop", I will stand at the counter (A&W AND Rockys) for a few minutes before anybody will even acknowledge that I exist Very disappointed every time i go there. Today I even had a "conversation" with a guy at A&W who finally came to the counter, but he was too busy telling me that they are very busy, understaffed, and most of the staff was young. (I even took a minute and a half video...AFTER I waited for two minutes, but nobody even noticed that I was videoing them. Stopped for gas and wanted to grab lunch (used to work at an A&W as a kid and wanted something for the road). The young lady who took my order was very patient and nice. Thank you for that service. The "open" style kitchen seemed cool, although the employees clearly didn't care about what the customers can hear them talk about. I definitely didn't need to hear about their drunken Saturday night shenanigans, but if the food was good, who cares. Unfortunately, the food was quite terrible. Chicken strips were lukewarm, burgers were very cold, dry and probably had been sitting a while, or at least they tasted like it. I do love A&W historically but I'll never order from here again. Drive towards Madison for one more exit and there's another A&W just off the interstate. Otherwise Culver's is across the street and almost never disappoints. High price gas with Rockys pizza and A&W menus to choose from. The food is good and they have a drive through in the back of the gas station for the restaurants. There is also ample seating inside and outside. A decent place to gas up, eat and stretch your legs. read more

This is the 3rd and last time I come here. A very long wait time with counter lady having to go in back to retrieve pizza. Took mine to go, get home pizza burnt and very hard. Broke my fork hard. Ordered breadsticks with cheese... found no cheese in bag even though I paid extra for it. I'm being generous with one star. read more

Super disappointed and frustrated with this location today. Ordered a gallon of A&W Root Beer and 2 Rocky's super slices. Was told they only had one super slice. Asked what their slice of the day was. They told me but then said they did not have that available either. I gave up and told them I would just take the Root Beer. I got to the window and they brought me a plastic pouch of Root Beer. I told them I wanted a gallon jug of Root Beer like they have always had. They said they cold not use those due to Covid-19?? Makes no sense to me. I did not want a floppy plastic bag of Root Beer so I asked for a refund. While the employee was very friendly and professional, he said there was no manager in the building so he could not do a refund but could give me a coupon. I buy a gallon of Root Beer every week. This is the first time I have gone to this location but it has always come in a plastic milk type jug. I took the floppy bag and left. Won't be going to this location any more. read more

If it were not for Rocky Rococo pizza I probably would not ever order from there. For deliveries they only take cash or credit so when they forget to ask you when ordering, they may come to your door and you have no cash. This happened to us once. So they make the delivery guy call the shop, hope they answer, and then he stands there listening to your cc number over the phone. Retarded. read more

Numerous times we have ordered delivery here and every single time we have been overcharged. Last time the delivery guy forgot half of our order. Called again today with a coupon for pizza for $15.99 and was quoted a total of $21+. Even with delivery charge of $2 that is not right. We've had enough of the employees not knowing what to do here. I've never been so disappointed at a "fast food" place. Call me old fashioned, but the girl taking our order did so the entire time, relaxing back with one elbow on the counter. That should have prepared me to know that no one there takes their job seriously! I order a crispy chicken sandwich and the cashier yells back "hey, how old is that chicken there?" The other lady pulls the little drawer out, looks at it, shrugs her shoulders and says "I think they're from before." Blech!!!! I'm glad this happened though because it made me look back into the kitchen where there were open and broken boxes everywhere, a clear windowed cooler showing gross shelves full of nothing and the dirtiest flattop I've ever seen! I couldn't chance eating anything but my husband rolled the dice. Waiting for the food, I would suggest standing to not risk touching their disgusting furniture! Has no one there heard of cleaning agents??!!??!!?? My husbands food was cold when he got it and he regretted going there, especially after seeing the food I ordered from Culvers across the road.
