Pizzas honestly mid asf. But this thing says I gotta write more so I'll say it's pretty good.

Pizza was cold. Undercooked, too. Staff was friendly. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that this doesn't happen often.

We looked over the menu and decided to try it. We were not disappointed! They seated us immediately (I did make a reservation), and Alex, our server, greeted us right away. Her tableside presentation was great, and her menu knowledge spot on. The food was delivered hot and precise (I'm guessing they use position numbers), and Alex did her check back to make sure everything was correct. The chef and staff did a wonderful job. Each of our choices was delicious. My son's favorite fish is salmon, and the cedar plank preparation hit the spot. My lovely bride wanted comfort food on a cold winter night, and the beef stroganoff filled that request nicely. I had their Catch of the Week, and I'm very happy I could get a really good cioppino in the Midwest. It gave this native Californian a nice taste of home. We visited the Waunakee location, and plan to return often. Thanks for the experience. Buck & Honey's!

Given this, service was a bit slower but at least we got seated right away without reservations at 8pm. Cool outdoor patio. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I got. Spicy ahi tuna bites - crispy and flavorful. SPICY! Those Serrano peppers are packing heat! Also sweet. Clam chowder - not over salted, maybe could've used a little less potatoes. The cup size was plenty to share for an app between two. Tenderloin/romaine - I love bleu cheese so this was perfect. Three pieces of tenderloin, could have been salted a little bit more if standalone but honestly with the accompaniment of blue cheese dressing, it's better that they didn't. The polenta was I don't know, that might've been my favorite part. I left so stuffed.

I like that the employees are always friendly, and this might be related to the fact that it's an employee owned cooperative. And you can always count on a seldom played 80s and 90s song playing on the loudspeakers while you're pumping your gas. Their car washes are also really good and efficient. And we stop here for milk on the go sometimes. Fast and easy for my Sun Prairie existence. I'm docking them a star because unless you've been living under a rock, styrofoam cups are kind of not cool. Switch to paper cups for hot beverages and I'll revisit the rating.

Things I like: * Cheap bananas, potatoes and onions at 38 cents per pound. * A nice (though rather pricey) selection of groceries, so if I need something after the local grocery store closes, I can usually find it here * It is one of two RedBox locations in town * The store is clean and well lit * The always have multiple registers open, so I rarely wait in line for more than a minute * The cashiers are generally friendly * While not my first choice in coffee, they keep their coffee fresh * The kids are a fan of the slushies * They are open 24 / 7 They often have daily specials on pizza, burgers, hot dogs, etc., but I find the quality of these items near inedible.

The inside is lovely and clean. One end has merchandise for sale. And the long bar is where you decide which ones you want to try. Once you've marked them on the menu, they will bring them out to you in a carrier. You can do flights of three, six, or just buy a bottle. Or a taste. The outside is just beautiful. The seating areas, the umbrellas, the view, and the vineyards themselves. I recommend highly you come in summer, spring or fall and sit outside and enjoy your wine like we always do. I know the categories of their wines as dry, but, I found that they were more in the semi sweet side. They're sparkling wine, and the rosé were amazing. The reds were great as well. We ended up tasting six red wine and bought one bottle. They also have charcuterie, boards, and pizza. Go to this winery. You won't be disappointed.

You walk in and go upstairs to the tasting room. There are options for a 3-wine tasting and a 6-wine tasting. We obviously went with the 6...but also because the offering options were numerous and so many in each of our preferred wheelhouses. They pour the wine and give you a glass holder with all of them at once, so you can take it where you want to enjoy your wine, which I really like. The patio was welcoming and the view was wonderful and we enjoyed our initial tasting so much, we opted for ordering food and getting a bit more wine to drink to extend our visit! I got a large pretzel which was...fine. I expected and hoped for something more/better, but it was fine. My friend got a pizza and it was pretty alright as well. I am mostly just pleased and grateful that they have fairly substantial food options to enjoy with your wine. The tasting notes on the wine list are spot on, so pay attention to those! But also, try something new and different! The Almond bubbly was a delightful surprise! And the coffee infused wine was a bold offering. The staff were lovely and friendly, but also weren't too pushy or up in our business. It struck the perfect chord. Highly recommend a visit here if you like trying wines in Wisconsin!
