I've lived in Waunakee the last 2 years. Mom always wants me to pick up some Pizza Hut. Originally I was against the idea because I'm not a fan of chain restaurants. BEWARE - COVID protocols are not followed here! The tall guy in the back never wears a mask. Think we can't see you through the drive-thru window? He's not the only one not wearing a mask. I should have read the reviews before going here. What was I thinking??? We ordered via the mobile app and went through the drive-thru to pick up our food. We were told it would be 2 minutes before it was done and we' were asked to park out front to wait. We waited and waited and waited. Finally, we went inside and picked up the food. We have no idea how long the food was sitting there. The young lady just apologized saying she didn't know it was ready. This is not the first time we have received poor service. But, this is the last time we will be getting food from there. read more

Even if you're just looking for fast and cheap (screw delicious), you're going to be disappointed What happened to Pizza Hut? I actually have fond childhood memories of pizza feeds at the Hut. Toppings were plentiful, the sauce palatable and oh that buttery crust. Over the years, the pizza has morphed into a bland corporate pizza doppelganger that fills the stomach, but not the soul like good food should (I can't believe I wrote that in a review of the Waunakee Pizza Hut). It's gotten so bad that lately the kids would rather have a bowl of Kraft mac and cheese instead of anything from the local Pizza Hut. The crust: A good crust should have some bite and chew, and serious flavor. Pizza Hut fails to deliver on all three aspects. The buttery crunch I remember has been replaced by greasy, limp and bland. The sauce: It is way too sweet and lacks depth. Think Ragu spaghetti sauce. Actually, that may be an insult to Ragu. The toppings: They have really cut back on the quantity of the toppings over the years. The pepperoni is cut razor thin and there is barely enough cheese to cover the sauce. The texture of the cheese is off as well. Just thinking about this is making me a little queasy. From a service perspective, my biggest gripe that carryout and delivery times are rarely accurate. I've learned to add about 10 minutes to the stated carryout time and 15 minutes for the stated delivery time. We rarely dine-in at the restaurant anymore, other than the occasional end of year sports banquet for one of the kids. The restaurant is showing its age and really needs an update. Unless you have a coupon or order one of the specials, Pizza Hut is no longer the bargain it used to be. For the same price, you can go to Zoe's or Doughboys in Waunakee and get a better pizza in a nicer setting. So that pretty much covers it for today's rather depressing installment of the Waunakee Yelp Chronicles. read more

We ordered delivery for dinner. It took 2.5 hours before we received it. When I called to check on it, they either answered and hung up or just let it wring. I was never able to talk to anyone. The exact same thing happened when I ordered from them the last time but it took 3 hours. Absolutely ridiculous. We won't be calling them again. read more

What is the problem Pizza Hut Waunakee WI? We ordered 2 medium pizzas on Halloween at 5:45 they arrived an hour or so later and on top of that they were not our pizzas. We called back to advise about our order and then told it would be at least another hour plus. We advised we had already waited the hour plus but go someone else pizza and Mike stated we are busy and short staffed. Not a good answer Mike! We waited for the new pizzas its now 8:40 pm and still no pizza. I called back and told them forget it and they gave us a credit. Tonight a week later we again ordered the same pizza was told it will be at least an hour plus and it was an hour and 15 mins the pizza order was correct however the pizza was almost warm and dried out so how long was this pizza sitting or how many stops did it make before getting to us? you get a 1 pizza hut. I hope your corporate office reads this. read more

This Pizza Hut is fairly standard. They have an okay buffet during the week at lunch and some weekend evenings. The menu is the same that you will see at just about any Pizza Hut across the country. The service is generally fine - again, nothing above and beyond, but this is Pizza Hut, you are getting exactly what you should be expecting. read more

Tried to order using a coupon from the 2018 Waunakee village calendar that expires at the end of next month but was told I couldn't get that deal anymore because the "dinner box" hasn't been available for over a year and they didn't have a way to ring it out. Terrible customer service to not honor a non expired coupon. They lost my business for good. read more

Ordered a pizza at 9pm to be delivered at 1045 just got the beef taco pizza and carried it with my forearm, "not very hot" after the delivery driver left i tempt the pizza it was 112 degrees temperature danger zone is 40 degrees to 140 degrees and bacteria grows between those temps, who knows how long it sat, so i threw it out...guess ill stay hunger tonight read more

ugh....another epic fail by Waunakee Pizza Hut. Ordered a big box dinner at 5:00. was given a 40 minute delivery time. At 5:55, with 4 hungary kids waiting, I had to call THEM to check the status. I was told it was just coming out of the oven, it would be another 15-20 min before delivery. Would have appreciated a courtesy call to let us know it would be late. The new Waunakee Pizza Hut location now simply does delivery and carry-out. We've ordered the meat lovers and stuffed crust pizzas in the past. This time we ordered the special which was a one topping pizza for 5.99. We chose the sausage topping with a garlic buttery blend crust. What a deal! You can't even buy a frozen store pizza for that price. We picked up our pizza at the drive-thru and the young girl who handed us our order was extremely friendly and cheerful. Terrible Customer Service when the product ordered wasn't what was delivered! Do not use the online order because they claim that they couldn't read a simple direction of do not cut and told me it was mumbled up yet repeated exactly what it said to me! Was only willing to either have me wait another half hour to make what I ordered or give me only a $7 credit for a product that cost me $16+. We frequent this establishment quite often and ALWAYS order our pizza's not cut and when they cut it they make a new one or give us a credit for it. They are able to look at your order and see that yes you asked for something specific. Very disappointed in a small town business that was so RUDE to a customer and tells me that I didn't order what I wanted and that because I didn't order it correctly and they use the website, it's my fault and I don't have options to fix it ...
