The seasoning, while present, was not very flavorful. I expected a bit more from a Cajun based rub. Food wise, it was just okay. Service was a hit and miss throughout the evening. While the place was not busy, the service was a bit slow for the amount of staff we noticed. We waited on refills and re-orders a bit longer than normal, especially sitting the bar area. This location has been here for a while and it shows in parts of the building interior and exterior. While conditionally certain areas need some love, the spaces were all clean and well kept. Overall, Nitty Gritty was okay. Seemed like your standard local sports bar with mid-level food and service.
