I stopped here to ask if they can repair this today and how much to replace it. I did not want to go the weekend with that just hanging down. They told me it would be just over $600.00, and stated that they cannot get the parts in until Tuesday due to the holiday and they can fix it then. I told them nevermind, and he said good luck because no one will be able to fix it today or over the weekend. I stopped off at another place, and they were able to get the part and had it fix the same day, and it only cost $200.00. Hmmmm, saving of $400.00.. I wanted to give them extra and they said no. I wonder how many others they ripped off and also ripped off the insurance company.

Outstanding service -- truly above and beyond!…read more This is my second time using Autoworks of Westville Auto Body, and once again they completely exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, everything was handled with care, speed, and professionalism. They coordinated everything -- from booking my rental car to drop-off when my repairs were complete -- making the whole process smooth and stress-free after my collision. It's rare to find a family-owned business that feels this personal and still runs so efficiently. A special shout-out to Ashley, who I've worked with both times. She's amazing -- quick to reply to emails, genuinely kind in person, and always knows exactly what needs to happen next. If you're looking for an auto body shop that treats you like family and delivers top-quality results every single time, Autoworks of Westville is the place to go. Highly recommend them for any auto body needs!

I had my car towed on July 17th with an issue with my ignition. Here is it Oct 6th and I stopped by to see what was going on since they never pick up the phone or return calls. He gave me some bs excuse saying he tried to get it going twice and failed miserably and that if he can't get it fixed tomorrow he had someone he could refer me to. As I go to leave I take a look in my car that mind you was in the same spot as it was close to 3 months ago. All of the contents in my middle console and glove compartment were all over the front seats. Now I'm pissed, so I go back inside to ask for the key and told him the condition of my car. He has not a care in the world and tried to say maybe it happened before I got it towed. But wouldn't he know that it looked like that since he tried twice to fix my car?? All he had to do was say he wasn't interested in fixing my car. Clearly my car was no priority to him.

I thought I was going to need a brand new transmission that would cost half the value of my car, which gave me overwhelming anxiety. However, when I decided to pick up the phone, I greeted by their wonderful front desk staff, who offered me an appointment the next day. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted warmly and given reassurance that my vehicle was in good hands. They were even able to diagnose my car noises on the same day I brought it in! When I was called with the results of their diagnostic testing, I was given a sigh of relief as the noises were coming from the wheel bearing as opposed to an internal noise from the transmission. They also recommended doing a transmission tune-up which I gladly accepted as it had been more than 70,000 miles since my last one. Even though all they did was a transmission fluid exchange, my car runs just like new, without any slipping of the transmission! If this was a random transmission shop, they would have easily tried to sell me a brand new unnecessary transmission for thousands of dollars I didn't have while keeping the actual source of the noise hidden from me. Thank you to Bruce from Firestone of West Haven and Brian at Jerry's transmission, for your top-notch service!
